For people genuinely considering about going to school, heres what I have to say. Most importantly, theres definitely problems in this school like any other public high school, but the important thing is to associate oneself with the right people. While this school might get a bad rep for being a rich kids school or a drug school, most of the students here are fine, and the few that arent make this a problem. Overall, most of the teachers are great and are there to help you learn, but once again, the few who get a bad rep can make this school seem bad overall. Its really not bad unless you go with the bad minority and get dragged into trouble from there.

I have had very positive experience at Fossil Ridge. Most of the teachers I have encountered have been nice and good at their jobs. I have been a part of the theatre and orchestra departments and both groups have been really friendly and accepting. School spirit and pride is also large mainly. I have really enjoyed this school and highly recommend it!

An alright school. If you want to do some research with the computers, however, you can forget it. The administrators have blocked almost every site that can be used. In fact, I had to sign in to my normal account instead of my school one just to write this review. The classes are mediocre at best, with a few rare gems where the teacher are interesting and captivating. In conclusion, there are certainly better schools out there.

Wonderful school!!! We moved to southeast Fort Collins just so my kids could attend Fossil Ridge High School. I am very happy with that decision, Fossil Ridge has great teachers and great curricula. The students have pride in their school and the teachers are always willing to support them in any way. You could not ask for a better school. Three of my kids are now in College and one still attends Fossil.

I am so tired of hearing negative things about this school. It is one of the top schools in the state. I actually had someone tell me they pulled their daughter out of Fossil because its a rich kids school and all the kids drove BMWs and Mercedes! Have they even seen the parking lot? We are far from rich. My daughter just bought herself an old car with money she saved herself. This same person that I mentioned above drives a brand new BMW Z4 and bought their daughter a brand new Jeep the day she turned 16. School - like everything else in life - is what you make of it. If you feel you dont fit in, have you really tried? No school is perfect. Sorry for ranting on, but this is a very good school. Just look at the test scores. Isnt that what its mostly about? My kids have also had some of the best experiences of their lives so far at this school. Thanks for reading...!

Teachers are good. But A Counselor at school, is a joke. Bad counselor.Advisory teacher was good but the period or class.. Whatever, was boring. Lol.P.E. was the best.The School started way to early in morning (when I was going to school)!!

It was alright i was class of 2013 just kids acted all that cause they had nice cars an stuff but i graduated there the teachers were 💯though

My cousin has gone to this school for 3 years new and from what he has told me, it has been some of the worst years of his life. Back when he was in middle school he got bullyed a lot, to the point where the kids would throw stones at his house and constantly be teasing him, pushing him, and generally making his life horrible. He expected thing to get better in high school, and surprise surprise it got worse. This is a warning to anyone who is bullyed by people in middle school, dont go to this school! If you report a problem to the administration they will put the blame directly on you and you alone. One story that my cousin told me is that if girls have their bra pulled on or even UNHOOKED, the administration will blame the girls and not the guys who did the crime. One of his senior friends had her tablet taken out of her hands by a freshman who the proceded to throw it against a stone brick wall, she told the administration but thay said that they dont have video proof so they couldnt do anything, latter on after the senior got off work the school called about her missing tablet it wants till she talked to a councilor that then did something about the problem. But in the end the freshmans parents balled him out and my cousins senior friend was left with a broken table. Plus there has been drug trafficking in this school, to the point where if you ask the 3rd or 4th person you see there can provide you with some sort of drug. All in all if I could i would give this school a F on its ability to handle problems between students, an F for failing to see who is right and who is wrong in a situation, and an F for it inability to stop drug trafficking at a school, but it gets an A in stupidity. Fossil is full of the rich kids of Fort Collins who all live off Daddys money, dont think youll have a good time in less you live in a 16 bedroom 5 story house with separate elevators for each room, along with a butler in every elevator. Unless you really like bad cocaine, then go to fossil.

This school is only good if your a really preppy annoying person.
