Professor Will has built something incredible here! The academy is full of tough students who push each other in every class, there are no easy rolls! While the training and competition is tough everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help you grow and get better. It’s extremely friendly, clean, and fun. Whether your new to the sport or have trained for years if your new to florid your looking for somewhere to train this is the spot!

This place has a very welcoming atmosphere and the people are kind, patient, and all-around fun. I look forward to each class because I know Ill be learning something new or applying something from a previous class among good people. While they are more than happy to adapt to your level of experience, they also encourage us to challenge ourselves for the better while remaining aware our bodys condition and that of our training partners. Amazing gym, great coaches and instructors and professor will all amazing with their knowledge of the Martial Art and great with teaching you how to execute all moves. I’m only five weeks in and I recommend this gym for anyone who is interested in martial arts. Not only is it a family friendly gym. The gym itself is family.

WOW! WOW! Ive met maybe half a dozen people who train here, and they are incredible characters, wonderful personalities, especially the instructor Will. Encouraging, high energy, and knowledgeable!Amanda tends to have a dry sense of humor, but catch her on the mat, those skills are incredible!If I could rate this place 5 stars twice, I would!

Couchan BJJ is where it’s at! The instructors and students are all so welcoming and helpful to everyone!My son’s father has been training here for a month (and counting) and it has equipped him with not only skills and strength, but confidence, growing patience, determination and so much more.I got to participate in a great class and afterward I felt strong and secure in myself. I think it’s also worth mentioning that I’m generally shy, but I feel right at home here.The space itself is clean and open - very nice.I’m telling you, Couchan BJJ is where you want to be!

Ive trained here with Will and as a veteran of the sport, I can say that will is a superb teacher and practitioner of BJJ. This is a great place to get your BJJ on! Many people worry about lineage and where the resident black belt got his black belt. I personally dont find that as important as a teacher who actually knows how to teach/communicate and can apply the knowledge in live rolling. With Will Couchon you get both, a rock solid pedigree and resume and great instruction.
