Precious Promise Academy is by far the best daycare around. The staff are caring, loving, and friendly. My daughter is happy everytime she gets out of the car. Her disposition when she comes home is amazing. I thank God for each person who comes in contact with my child. This is indeed a great place!

Our Daughter has been attending Precious Promise since she was 8 months old. It was already hard leaving her. But it has been a wonderful experience for Victoria. She loves going to school now that she’s started the preschool. She loves her teachers. When she she’s her teacher from her previous class she gets upset if we drive away. Victoria is well rounded she’s speaking more now. I love that they include the parents in the learning experience. We just reiterating What she learns at school. She’s eager to listen and learn. By far this is a great preschool. It’s true it takes a village to raise a child. Thankful that PPA is apart of our village. Especially thankful for her teacher Ms. Joyce she truly loves on the children. Victoria loves going to her class. Thankful for each teacher and the administration of PPA.

I chose PPA to ensure my daughter has a solid foundation before attending grade school. As a parent I have been truly impressed since day one! The curriculum encourages self-discipline and respect towards others, while teaching my daughter the fundamental academic skills and Godly principles. As a parent I am confident that my daughter will enter kindergarten as an independent self confident child with a great academic foundation. The wonderful teachers and staff at PPA enrich not only the children but the entire family. The loving environment, organization, emphasis on student and campus safety and the teacher’s professional classroom instruction are the keys to PPA‘s success. But most importantly, I can go through my day knowing my daughter is safe and well taken care of.

Great for day care services. The 2 to 3 year old teachers are wonderful. However, not a great fit for VPK. My child attends VPK there now and its too late for me to switch schools. I regret sending her to PPA for VPK.

First let me preface this review with the following: We were incredibly excited to have found Precious Promise (PP) after purchasing our home and moving from Pembroke Pines. We had a wonderful school back in Pines that taught awesome curriculum with highly qualified staff. 6 months ago we enrolled our son into Precious Promise and went a few months issue free. The last couples of months we have had several issues with our sons teachers at PP. His teachers were Ms. Candace and Ms. V (full transparency). There were a few times I picked up my son and he was filthy. His face, and clothes, an entire mess. He has had a few Accidents along the way, which is to be expected for a toddler. However, the latest accidents have raised a concern when my son was left to sit in clothes that he urinated (when he had a set of clean pants in his cubby). The last infraction was today when I picked him up from school and his pants were soaked. Another time I picked him up and he had a massive hole in his pants. The hole wasnt the issue, as toddlers can tear clothes easily with excessive activity. The issue was that he was left to walk around with the hole in his pants for the remainder of the day, when he had extra pants in his cubby. When I came to school and noticed the hole, Ms. V only said wide-eyed that he has had it there for a while. I couldnt fathom why leaving him in this state was acceptable. We barely received positive news about our son. And as a former educator we were trained to always have something positive to say. This is common knowledge. He struggles with expressive language and would receive a laundry list of negative complaints about things like him crying, screaming, or not listening. We grew wildly concerned that there may be underlying issues and brought him to the doctors, since this behavior was not something we experienced with him at home. As we explained these alleged behavior issues, the doctor laughed and reported that she didnt hear anything out of the norm for a typical three year old. Since this is our only child, we dont have much to reference. However, I have taught children as a elementary school teacher for several years and know that a classroom should have positive reinforcements in place for ALL CHILDREN, even for children as young as three. It appears as thought PP only uses punitive measures like time outs and redirection. For someone who lacks background knowledge of what redirections are, many parents would not be able to get a grasp what that even means. The director and teachers in the classroom didnt offer much information about behavior modifications for children in the school and could only tell me that they Redirect the kids. Its heartbreaking to hear them describe our child as though he was someone outside of who we experience him as which is a happy, pleasant and joyful kid. At his other school, his teachers adored him and had nothing but positive things to say about him, but at PP, this was quite the opposite. Instead of trying to figure out what changes could be made to see if there were anything about the classroom dynamic or dynamic between the teachers, the director described his behavior as bad and offered to have him evaluated by a therapist. I am a therapist myself... I was appalled. Several measures need to happen before a child is referred to services. However, the school is not equipped and teachers are not properly trained to manage typical toddler behavior.I attached a picture of how I found my son today in school... sitting in his urine. I didnt realize his pants were soaked until I was lifting him to put him in the car seat. I immediately called his father, because I was so infuriated, I couldnt bring myself to go back inside because of how angry I was. We have had enough of this place and have decided to find a school that has teachers who are more equipped to teach and prepare our child for elementary school. Many things seem out of the scope of expertise for Ms. V and Ms. Candace. This was not the school for us.
