This is a very interesting school. Upon speaking with the owner Karen Cichy and her husband Todd Cichy i was immediately concerned for the well being of the children in this facility. The two owners are quite clearly horrible alcoholics. If you like your children in a type of learning environment where they are surrounded by drunks then this is the school for you! I feel sorry for all the parents that have put so much into this school. God knows where the money is really going!

Can’t say enough good things about WNMS. Both my kids attend school and camp. They always come home so happy and eager to go back. The curriculum there has helped my children develop so well - especially their social skills. If you need something different than regular schooling you must check this place out!

This school is a refreshing change from the norm. It’s a true Montessori which is exactly what we were looking for. Additionally, it’s nature based which is SO cool. Karen is the lead teacher and she is a gem. She’s contagiously positive and we’re so grateful for her influence on our child. Highly recommend!!!

The school and concept are incredible for a child to learn, grow, and thrive. After a not-so-great experience at another school, and after considering several other schools in the area, we chose Woodland for many reasons. You can tell that Karen and staff love what they do, love children, and create a loving learning environment for every single child. Our son loves it here and has definitely gotten out of it what we would expect as parents who are invested in their childs growth, development, and education. Thank you to Karen, Todd, and all the teachers and staff.

We are so blessed to have found this wonderful Montessori School! Just after a few minutes of talking with Karen, I knew this was the place for my son! This school ACTUALLY HAS REAL TRAINED and CERTIFIED Montessori Teachers! 3 of them!!!! I would recommend this school to any family! I have seen so many different types of improvements already. His behavior has improved, he even started to read to me last night! HE IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD! God bless this beautiful school!

A hidden gem - it’s immersed in the nature preserve and there’s so much for the kids to see and do. Hard to find time to get my kids out in nature working full time and this place lets us do that. Additionally the teacher is amazing and has a Montessori credential and experience. It’s truly a peaceful learning environment. The difference in a teacher owning a school vs another party is immense. The focus is education and the kids not how to squeeze and extra dollar out of everything.
