I attended Ed’s school when it was located at the Atrium in FM. Therese was my pre-license instructor and she was fabulous. She’s a true role model who sets the tone for the class and is able to adjust her teaching strategies to fit students and the material while understanding some students learn in different ways. She always has a positive attitude, and is patient. Though we are adults, learning real estate for the first time is difficult for some of us but she always gives the class time to process information and answers questions. I have returned to the SWFL area and want to jumpstart my real estate business again. I’ll be seeing her soon! So glad she is still in the business. I attended con-ed recently and had a great experience. Therese is a dedicated instructor that engages everyone in the class using skill to get the most out of each and every student while presenting the information. The classroom was nice and clean with limited class sizes at this time because of Covid. Everyone was social distanced and there was plenty of hand sanitizer (plus we all wore masks which was what we wanted). They really care!! I definitely will be back every two years.

I would like to share that not only did the 45 hour on-line course was much more convenient for my BUSY schedule and learning style. I took the 30 hour continuing education course and completed it. Ed Klopfer schools entered my course info wrong and I ended up being short 4 hours with the state. Ok, honest mistake... maybe? Well I called and called and emailed for weeks with no response from Ed Klopfer schools. Even went to the location during business hours; it was empty. Very unprofessional and suspicious. No other option for me but to go to the state. They said I need to contact the provider... who was not answering. What an absolute nightmare. Calling enough times to DBPR I was able to self-submit the completion certificates. After about 3 weeks I did finally get a response from Ed Klopfer schools who said they would re-submit my information. After all that time it’s unacceptable when someone’s livelihood is on the table. I’m going with McKissock next time.

My husband took the real estate course in February. Day one, the elderly expert felt it necessary to spend his time sharing his conservative Republican views. Day two, this man felt it necessary to preach his Christian values. Needless to say, so much time was spent teaching personal beliefs, the subject matter was obviously not a priority. After not passing the state board(shocker), we sent my husband back for the prep course at an additional charge. Of course the same fossil was teaching and little knowledge was gained. Finally we agreed to try the competitions prep course and after MAJOR inspiration and renewed faith in the possibility of learning from energetic and motivated professionals, he passed the state board.Get with the program Ed, keep politics and religion out of your courses.
