Im really exited to join 7th grade at Chaffin this year. I hope I have a great time, and great teachers. Im coming to school with a great attitude as I have no idea what is headed my way. I hope I can make many friends and great relationships with teachers!😁

This school (from experience) isn’t the best school to go to. They care about their reputation more than they care about their students. Now some teachers are nice, but most aren’t. They had a teacher that called their color students “dirty cotton pickers” and the teachers and principals only care about the wealthy students who are the most meanest to the other students and when we report them or any bully, the principal won’t even call them up to their office, won’t give them sdc or get expelled or suspended. They get away with anything. Think about your child before sending them here. Oh not to mention the school cares about the grass more than your child.

I don’t understand the poor reviews on Ms. Overbey, her class is amazing. She gives out bonus points and extra credit, she also allows you to turn things in late. Most people who post poorly probably don’t pass her class, even though it is relatively easy. Other than that only downsides would have to be behavior of other students, and if you’re going to talk poorly about someone, you should post with proper grammar.

My 7th grade year was HORRIBLE due to Coach Lucas (the girl) never accpeting my doctors notes I was forced to due exercises and i had a really bad asthma attack and was sent to the hospital for 3 days. I was then removed from PE but whilst I was having in asthmad attack 2nd period (when i had pe) i told he i couldnt breathe and she told me i was lying. I went home beginning of 4th period. Thanks Mrs. Davis for actually being a good teacher. Also the office ladies SUCK.

9th grade science...worst class of my life. Just take regular over Pre-AP because Mrs. Overbey was just awful. Highly recommend taking GATE - amazing class & amazing teacher. Dont get caught wearing ripped jeans. The coaches are pretty cool👍
