My 2 year old and 6 year old attend this daycare. Me and my husband love it and so do the kids. My sons teacher is awesome she is great with him Ms. Janine in the 2 year old room. Brit Brit is awesome my kids love her, Brenda a Stephanie up front are awesome also. I recommend this daycare any day.

I love love love love this center! My son has been there for almost a year and has flourished so much in just a short amount of time. The staff is amazing and I love all of the teachers that I have met so far. My baby is getting ready to start here, so Im excited for his little journey! I honestly wish I could give this facility ten stars. All three of my children have attended Kids Discovery#1. I would not have them in any other care. It feels good as a parent to know that your children are being loved, fed, and educated. The facility is clean and well organized. I would highly recommend them to any parents that want Make sure their kids safety and Well-being are being met. The staff is amazing always friendly and Patient and not just with the kids,us parents as well. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. Ms. Jenna in the one year old room is one of the sweetest caring people we have ever met. My child absolutely adores her!

I am a single Mother whose whole world is her daughter. She started attending Kid’s Discovery at 7 weeks old and 4 years later we are still blessed by the great care the teachers and staff take with my child. The teachers my daughter has had or even just had the pleasure of meeting greet her and treat her with such love and respect that I feel honored to have my daughter in such an establishment. I would love to be a stay-at-home-Mom but I can’t be and places like Kid’s Discovery make it so much easier for me to feel safe and secure for her care when I do have to leave her at class to go to work. Thank you!

If I could give them no starts I would. The teacher and director bully my child. A simple conversation turns in to a fight. A child should be free to learn and have fun at school not attacked and singled out. And when brought I there attention they cut you off and pay no attention to your concerns as a parent.

My daughter has been going to this daycare for several months now and I am very pleased with what they do. She is in the 2 year old room, and her teacher Jamine is the most amazing woman. I feel comfortable dropping my daughter off to be with her. She loves her job and is great at it. They send you home with an activites sheet letting you know what your child ate that day and what games/crafts they did. They do educational activities everyday and my daughter almost always comes home happy. MASSIVE difference from her last daycare, very grateful for the staff. Also, the facility is clean!

Kids Discovery is a wonderful and caring facility. As a great aunt, it comforts me in knowing that while in the care of others, my great nephew receives the attention required by a toddler. Hes taught how to play well with his peers, as well how to follow instructions.

My daughter started the VPK program this year and we have had a wonderful experience with the staff and their curriculum. She is eager to learn because of her wonderful teacher (which she LOVES) and excited to go to school everyday! Her growth in knowledge of the alphabet, numbers, writing, and life skills surprises me on a weekly basis. We could not have asked for a better 1st half of the school year.They also treat her little brother (who is not enrolled, because I am a SAHM) as part of the family. He looks forward to seeing his favorite teachers & admin, who always stop and give him a couple minutes of their time every morning and afternoon.

Worst daycare in all of Fort Walton Beach. Dont be fooled by its appearances. There school in valp had a teacher who broke three toddlers legs. The owners are horrible and their director is about the meanest snakey woman alive. This daycare center is rude and obnoxious, not just to me but too many other parents as well. If you love your kids do not send them to the school based on appearance. Read Northwest Florida Daily News. Thats where you can read about the child abuse and neglect charges against this daycare center.

I have two children at this daycare and have never had an issue. My older boy is 3.5 years old and has been attending since he was 18 months. He loves his teachers and enjoys going every day. I also have a 9 month old baby boy and he never cries when I leave him and is happy and full when I pick him up every day. I see other reviews complaining about the turnover rate of teachers, and yes, there is a turnover rate, but I feel like they are really good about having one constant in each room. Also, you cant blame them for having a high turnover rate- daycare work has got to be one of the hardest jobs and least rewarding financially. To keep the parents cost down for care, the workers cant be paid that much, which unfortunately is the reason for a high turnover rate I can assume.

You can tell all of the teachers here love what they do, and it reflects in the kids. Great place to trust with your babies!

This place is a huge joke. The turnover in teacher in the room my child was in was ridiculous. There was one teacher that was there for the most part. But there was someone new every week. They dont answer the phone when you call in but when they need a payment or have an issue they call you right away. The communication is non existent between staff. I do not recommend this facility to anyone. A coworker of my husband also informed us that they are currently in the middle of a law suit with them for causing injury to his child. Wish he had told us before we put our child in that facility. Please dont put your children there. They dont pay much attention to the children there.

They take wonderful care of our little one and he loves it! Keeping alittle one busy is a unique talent and his teachers are great at it!

My children have gone there on and off since 2013. My two youngest are there now. I absolutely love Mrs. Barbara in the infant room and wouldnt trust anyone more than family, the way I do her with my babies. Mrs. Brenda Shoemake-Baker is amazing not only as a teacher but even more as an Educational Coordinator. Her passion is to give the children and teachers their absolute best to grow & learn. She has worked with us on such a deep level to help with our son with his challenging behavior, she has gone above and beyond to help his social issues and has never given up when other centers would have put him out. Mrs. Brit & Mrs. Stephanie in the front office are always welcoming, helpful and loving towards each child coming in. I drive all the way from Destin to keep my chidren at this center because I know the future Kids Discovery will help mold for my children due to their management team & amazing teachers trained by them.

Many issues addressed with management with absolutely NO resolution. Also, I was being charged $150/week for MONTHS after my child was potty trained (should have been $125) and they only gave me one $25 credit.

I DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND YOU BRINGING YOUR KIDS HERE. TEACHERS CONSTANTLY IN AND OUT OF ALL CLASSROOMS, THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY STRUCTURE HERE, AND ALSO THE MANAGEMENT IS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO ALL CUSTOMERS, AND EMPLOYEES... DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU.
