I just absolutely love the job they did with my daughter. This place truly cares for and loves your children as if they were their own. I saw such growth in my daughter from her experience there. They make me want to have another kid just so I can send them there (not happening but the thought crossed my mind). The kids are encouraged to use their imaginations to create a unique, fun and creative environment.

Kerri Marie5starMrs. Fielder and all of her teachers are amazing! I honestly wish we had more than one year at this school! Theyre all great with the kids, and I love that they go to multiple classes, doing different things in each, instead of just being cooped up in one class room all day! My son Malachi came home telling me things that I didnt expect him to learn until he was actually in elementary school!! Kids Place is the ONLY preschool I recommend to anyone! I would send Malachi back there again in a heart beat!

I am a teacher in Okaloosa County and my grand-daughter attended this school this past year. I was so excited to get her in because I had heard many wonderful things. I was a little let down. Granted the program has many good aspects however she came in already testing high. There are issues that I feel parents need to be aware of. You need to accept the fact that your child will come home filthy everyday due to the dirt in the back. They have a dog at the facility everyday so if your child has allergies to this it creates a problem. Lastly the director can get quite mean and yell which in my opinion is highly inappropriate. .

Its been a pretty wonderful experience for my granddaughter at Kids Place. While its a small place with four rooms functioning as classrooms, and parking for the school is a small nightmare for the morning drop-off, the staff does a great job getting those 4 year olds through pre-kindergarten.Class size is about 10 kids per room and three classes for a maximum of 30 childrens. I understand the staff includes a number of retired teachers. Kids will find it pretty exciting, and if your child goes there youll be hearing about Fun Friday (a movie and popcorn as treats that day) and Wacky Wednesday (shows up in the middle of the year as a day they are randomly assigned to different classroom for new experiences) . I think my granddaughter is well prepared for kindergarten, with having learned the alphabets, some writing skills, some early reading, number counting, shapes and colors.A previous review complained about their grandchild coming home dirty. Yes they will! But in a good way. The outside area is sandy, and with a troop of 30 active pre-Ks running over it everyday its more dirt than grass, just like every well used playground in Florida. A good bit of shade from the back porch and trees, and some playhouses and playsets to let the kids invent their own entertainment at playtime when the weather permits. The teachers use a lot of outdoor play to enforce classroom work, and the kids encourage to plan out and build all kinds of stuff using a unlimited supply of cardboard boxes. They made buses, castles, houses, and rocket ships, just as big as they wanted, in the time my granddaughter was there. I saw several of these projects, as my granddaughter loved to show them off when we came for pick-up time.Class time is 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and there is a optional lunch period for kids to bring a sack lunch and extend the social and play time to just before 3:00. While Pre-K time is free, as part of the public school education provided by the state, you will have to pay for the 2 hour Lunch Brunch and provide that sack lunch. Cost is not too much, but well worth it for my granddaughter :)
