I have been going to this shop for about three years. Its always a wait but it just depends on how busy they are. There has been times when other people has come in after me and get seen first but I dont let that stop me from going there. I have only had one haircut that I was dissatisfied with. If you keep in mind that it is a school and there are student Barbers working there you can get pass some of the issues. And also it help to remember that the more specific and the more information you give them about what you want then the better the chance for them to satisfied you. It also help to remember that doing the week days the kids are in school so you dont have all those getting haircuts. My last visit I was not there very long at all when not one but two student Barbers approached me ready to cut my hair. This student Barber did something the others never had done she suggested that I spend $5 more and get a wash. It did not take that long and it was relaxing because she massaged my head. Not to mention it made my haircut look even more fresh. This student Barber gave me her number so I can make an appointment or at least let her know Im coming in so she can be the one to cut my hair. They have free parking and they are near a bus stop!

The person who cut my hair did a great job but told me that the owner take away their tips, for this you will see how they want make sure people tip especially the guy who run the place, is sad, I guess is part of the contract the students accept because is more chip that go to learn to other schools

My father took my son to this location and I was worried about if they would be able to handle a 2 yr. old and line him up but the young man that cut his hair did an awesome job!!!! I dont know his name but I have a pic that my father sent me. Great Work!! I keep seeing people getting mad about the work but please note that this is a SCHOOL..They are learning. You have to put in your mind that I am taking a risk but I am also helping this stylist or barber with the craft they are looking to use to build their households.

Do not go there! They refused to cut our hair-and they kept skipping us because we didnt have tips. They have a picture on the wall that says, Tip where you sit, which is understandable; but if youre in there for three hours getting skipped by fresh-comers you tend to think youre not getting your moneys worth. They dont even cut that well! I think if youre in school to become a barber expect to get paid when you get licensed. So those guys need to stop begging for tips because its bad form

My daughter wanted box braids medium style. The braider arrived late and she did not braid her hair all the way down her braids came loose. I had to braid it again. It was done sloppy and too fast. I paid $85 for crappy braiding job I will never go back nor recommend someone to go there. Keep your money go some where else.

This is a black only establishment. Do not get your hair cut here if you are white! They do not have the skills to give a proper haircut. Welcome to Texas!

This place seemed discombobulated from the beginning. There price is now 8 dollars a cut and if you get a haircut by an instructor they ask you for an extra 10 dollars. I felt out of place and it seemed very unprofessional.

I am an single mother who work for everything and do not receive any government assist period and my children are on my health insurance and now i have to pay $$$ for some one being careless and nasty .
