Had 2 appointments canceled and no one called me to tell me. First was a 6pm appointment and I waited 2 hours after my hair appointment. I came back and all students were in class. They told me come back tomorrow at 9:30 so I did only to find out all students were in class again and they didnt have anything until the afternoon. I really would like to support this group but they need to communicate better. **Note Supervisor did call and apologize and offer a discount which was appreciated**

I went in for a hair service. My appointment was at 6:00, I wasnt seated until 6:40. The service was a permanent wave. The student was not very friendly. When I asked what products I should use. She said, I dont know, stuff for curly hair! Not sure if l will be back.

If you are BLACK and it’s “not your real hair” don’t come here. Like what?!? All I needed was a cut. How are the students supposed to get a FULL experience? Waste of my time and gas. They could have advised that over the phone. Gone ask is it my hair? I paid for it so whose is it? Then it was a black lady at that!

I very much enjoyed my time here. I got my first ever facial. It was relaxing and informative. My girl was very sweet and was happy to answer any questions I had. The place was clean and everyone was very professional.

First time going to Ogilvie to get my haircut. I loved it. Great atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly. They make you feel comfortable. So satisfied with my haircut. I highly recommend.

I was on the list to start this September. I had everything ready to go I had all my paperwork, I had my fafsa and was extremely excited to start. I went on vacation had no service in July. I was doing vacation 2 months before school started. was planning my life around the next 5 months of school. I had no service wasn’t expecting a random phone call from the school to see if I’m still ready to start (I thought that was already established) so they took me off the waiting list because they couldn’t reach me within 24 hours. That’s a joke because I couldn’t get on the summer waiting list so I was waiting for the fall, now I won’t make the fall list. I’m not going to keep pushing my life back waiting to get into this school.

I started as a student. I’m working on overcoming trauma and ptsd. My second day I was faced with a ptsd episode that hit me out of the blue. I was ushered into the directors office where I was labeled immediately as a distraction and should think about a different path and was made to feel guilty and ashamed for even walking through the school door and for trying to overcome what I survived. I now feel like hanging up my gloves and packing away my make up which has been my only source of comfort through out my recovery. I never fathomed that the one place I have dreamed of going to would leave me more traumatized and hurt then I did before.

Had a facial by Ms.Cece. Im impressed at how professional this student was. Definitely going back!! Great job Cece thank you, Im very happy with your services!!

Went in with a general idea of what I wanted but nothing set in stone. Bernie (who is ABSOLUTELY wonderful) went over each option I had on how we could do it in depth so I could make an informed decision. I was very skeptical as my hair was looking VERY rough, yet each step of the way he alleviated those worries and made my hair BEAUTIFUL. While I cannot speak for anyone else, I will definitely be recommending him to all of my friends with hair goals!

This was my second time there. Good atmosphere, my hairstylist was awesome, listen to what I wanted done to my hair, she was very nice and polite the whole time. I love how my hair come out. I will be back again and will probably follow her after she graduates from school.

Friday I had my hair done by Desire and she is AMAZING! Love her attitude, so sweet and professional, and my hair looked fantastic. Her teacher, Miss T. Was so kind and very knowledgeable I will definitely be back!

Drove 40 mins to get here for them only to tell me they didn’t pay attention to their schedule and no one was available.

Waited for a little over 20 minutes passed my appointment time before I walked out. Called to let them know I left and they said the girl who was supposed to cut my hair was late from lunch but they would have a supervisor call me and we could work out a discount for my next visit. It has been a few hours now and nobody has reached out..... wow......

Tonight I came in for a haircut to help with my current migraine. Not only was Harley super helpful and kind but he made sure I was taken care of. Kailey was my stylist. She helped my headache by taking her time with the shampooing. Also she took the time to cut my hair to where the weight wouldnt be so bad and preventing more headaches in the future. They really took care of me. Much appreciated! Thank you so much.

The staff is very polite and professional and also the prices are very affordable.Please take notice that these are students not licensed cosmetologist. Today was my first time at Ogle School. It took longer than expected but the student was very careful & did an amazing job. Shampoo, condition & deep condition treatment, cut, blow dry style for $16! My hair looked better than the $50 cuts I was getting elsewhere.

I had a Signature Spa Facial with Heather and it was wonderful. The spa setting was nice and relaxing....very clean. She recommended products for me to start using on my skin to help with aging and was very knowledgeable. I also love the ability to get an appointment quickly and the price cant be beat. I highly recommend Ogle and Heather!

Super experience! I had my hair cut and colored with accents. Star was my stylist and she did an amazing job. She told me everything about the process and products she was using. She went above and beyond to make s ure I was happy with the results. Great job! Shelby cut my husbands hair and he was happy . He usually goes to a regular barber shop. His haircut today was a little hipper than the regular mens haircut Very pleased.

***Update*** I got a call Thursday evening and the Director personally scheduled me to come back Saturday morning. My experience Saturday was fantastic. The student and her instructor went above and beyond to ensure I walked out of there with the hair that I wanted. I cannot praise them enough! I left Ogle feeling so much better thanks to Ashley and to the Director for listening to me and taking care of my issue. Will definitely keep coming back!I went there last week for highlights. What I left with is not what I wanted. I tried to make the best of it but just cant. My hair is way too light- all over. The student and I both noticed that immediately. I have called a few times to speak to someone and I keep getting told someone will call me back and no one does. I understand this is a school and thats why its cheap as I heard a student comment when I was last there but at least can someone have the courtesy to call customers back? Especially if you wreck their hair!

My husband & I get our hair done frequently here. Service is always excellent!!!! My color always looks great!!! Mr. V is AWESOME....he knows us by name & always makes our visit pleasant. The students are great! They all know what to do and make you look & feel beautiful when their done. I highly recommend you make an appointment rather than walking in. This place is very popular!!

I went to Ogle for my very first time today and I was so impressed. My stylist was Connie S. And she was awesome!!! I was so comfortable the entire time and had great conversation while there. My hair turned out fabulous and I will most definitely be returning again!!! Thank you Connie & Ogle

I have been to this location 5 times total, 3 times for a haircut and 2 times for highlights. My last 2 visits they were able to schedule me same day. The hair services they provide are at a great price. $11 for haircut and blowdry, $7 for deep conditioner treatment, and $29 for partial highlights ($49 for full). The students are still learning and take their time, so make sure you have plenty of time for your appointment. In my experience, the appointments typically take twice as long as salons with experienced stylists. The instructors are very hands on. During my appointment today, the instructor Daniel came by to check on things every 5 minutes and was very hands on in teaching the student. I was nervous to cut 4 inches off my hair, but my cut turned out great (thanks Haneef)! The last time I got highlights the instructor Jenna helped the student with color selection and technique. Overall, I would recommend this location if you have the patience for students in training and longer appointment times.

I wish I could give this visit more than 5 stars! My stylist was Beverly and she was assisted by Mrs. T (instructor). I am African American and came for color and I got what I wanted and more! Their professionalism and ability to make their customers feel comfortable was outstanding. They kept me informed all the way through my wonderful transformation. I will recommend them to everyone who asks.

I went to get highlights done to my hair today. Shelly was totally amazing. I had such a great time with her and the two other girls they were so friendly they had me cracking up the whole 5 hours it took to do my hair. It came out fabulous!!! Thank you Shelly i hope when you graduate i can find you to Do my hair. I Will totally come back to see the 3 amigo!!! Great job ladies. The teacher was super great as welll. Loved her blue hair!!! If you get a chance definitely try them out.

My stylist was Jayde and her instructor was Theresa. They were wonderful and listened to my hair concerns and needs. My hair looks wonderful, very pleased and I will return.

When greeted they are not the friendly type. I made an appointment but they said it was in for a later time. A stylist (not looking ver profesional) called my name but then said “no no no” and went with another client of her race. I went in to get highlights and end result was fabulous! My hairstylist was pleasant and more professional than most. But be careful when you go because since they are learning your hair will get pulled. It’s not a professional atmosphere because you learn if everyone’s drama. The sinks they don’t have cushion or towel so the back of your head doesn’t hurt. They didn’t have clean towels everyone was asking for them. My stylist used one she had been using for other stuff to dry my hair. Since I spent a long time there I now have a bruise on the back of my neck. Your comfort is not a priority. My haircut was not great. You will be there for a long time. So make sure you have a lot of time scheduled to be there. The prices are very reasonable. Overall I liked my highlights and style.

I got a two braid over straighten hair. I am African American so my hair is really thick but Kini , my student, gladly straightened it without burns and did a great job. I hope to see her soon!

Great I havent been able to stop smiling since day one, its been hands on and I love it! Even if I dont feel good about my work the people around you make you feel good about your work. My teacher is AMAZING! (Mr. Young) Ive never been so excited about school!

Im never disappointed when I leave here. Every time I go I get a new stylist and they always do a great job. Fair warning though, if you want chemical treatment you have to get there before 1:30

As a guy who gets a fairly normal cut, faux hawk, with each student the time varies on how long it takes but I have never left Ogle with a bad hair cut.Instructors are always walking around answering questions, checking work, giving pointers, and complimenting everyone.If you have the time I would definitely recommend Ogle, set an appointment if you want as well. Plus if you find a stylist you like, you can follow them where they go after they graduate.

Jessica and Kelly were awesome. My eyebrows look amazing. Ive been to many known spas and they didnt get it right. Jessica and Kelly were meticulous about my services which included an eye brow arch and a leg wax. Great service!

As a soon to be graduate of Ogle Fort Worth; Not only would I recommend the school for the great service and eagerly attentive students that tend to every detail from the consultation to your walk out the door, I also would recommend this program for anyone interested in a career in the beauty industry. I am nearing the end of the Full-Time Cosmetology program here, and the knowledge that I am leaving this place with is outstanding! The instructors are attentive, inspiring, and always have your best interest at heart. The certifications that you can receive while attending this school are amazing as well! So many licensed cosmetologists have to go back and take these additional classes in order to work in the salon of their choice. While in the program I have acquired an American Crew Certification, GK Hair Certification, and Hair Extension Certifications in Academy Pro Hair, Donna Bella, and Cinderella Hair. Those are only a select few of the many additional classes offered here at Ogle. Fort Worth has some of the most colorful and fantastic people in the metroplex! What better way to show your personality by finding your new stylist before someone snags them up? Keep up the great work Ogle Fort Worth, the talent emerging from there is unbelievable!

The students are forced to take clients on a daily bases and to sit in a salon for 8 hours a day. When it comes to learning new haircuts like the American Crew Mens Cuts, the instructor made us learn 5 haircuts in 5 days, without a re cap or another day to go through everything again. The learning is way too fast paced if you need more than one day to learn something brand new. Some of the instructors were amazing though. Great school but they need to find something for the students to do or learn other than standing at your station staring at the floor or the back of a mannequin head and curling the hair everyday. And the clients have no idea that we are doing all of the work and not getting paid, I feel like I was doing free labor for the school to make money. I put a lot of time and effort into being in the artistic team and became the president in which was very stressful to be told I cant learn something new for more than 1 day just because the instructor didnt feel like teaching it again, the teachers and students are too close because they gossip a lot about each other and students and clients. Other than that, clean school, clean people. If youre going to have a service done, just know they are practicing, they arent professionals and youre going there at your own risk.

There are a lot of beauty schools out there but Ogle is by far the most professional and welcoming. They give a thorough education any the students are knowledgeable and well prepared. You would never think this great customer service could be given from a school!

This was my first experience here. It was a great time. The stylist, Sara Gilbert, did an awesome job. I had color for my gray and partial highlights put in. It turned out perfect. I am so pleased. The haircut is super cute too! I would highly recommend this salon! The teachers checked in and were very up on what was going on. Thanks!!!

I have been here 4 times all together and I absolutely love it. Every time i have come here for my hair it turns out exactly how I want it. My favorite lady is Amber. I am super excited to come back :) I highly recommend.

Not sure whats happened to this location or if there is just poor management. We had the most awful experience ever today. This will be my last time allowing my daughter to get her hair done here.

I was referred to this place by a friend, and had some color done to my hair. Rebecca Dodge was amazing! She was kind, and patient and explained everything she was going to do in detail step by step. She helped me pick a color for my hair, and made sure that I liked the ending product. Never received such professional service before at any hair studio. If I lived in Texas Id be back every time for Rebecca! 5 Stars all the way. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming.

Their sign at the counter states they do nails but when my wife asked for a manicure she was told they do not do them here. My wife asked if there was a good place close by for a manicure and the receptionist stated she did not know of any.

I enjoy coming here to have my hair services done....been doing it for 3yrs so far. It does take a little longer but worth it. They are students and learning...again, have patience and you will enjoy the result. The only negative can be when the previous formula is not recorded. I have had this happen several times and now I know to write it down myself. Otherwise, I look forward to coming back.

This place is amazing. I was wanting my hair bleached to go lighter but I didnt have virgin hair which makes the process a lot more difficult. I tried several other places an they just have me the run around. I called this place the following day and they got me in first thing in the morning. They reccomended that I dont do bleach but a overall high light instead and it turned out absolutely amazing. I love it (although it took about 4 hours but I expected that with getting high lights) Everone was so friendly, such a happy environment along with good prices. My stylist was Liliana, she did an amazing job.

Had an appointment with Madelyn. They called the day before to confirm. I went there for my appointment and they told me that she didnt show up. I took my Mom there today and because of our schedule she had Madelyn instead of her usual, Celeste, who is amazing. It took 2 hours for a shampoo, set and blow-dry. Mom said that Madelyn spent alot of time visiting with the other girls while she was working. I told Madelyn what had happened about my appointment and she never apologized for not showing up. Just laughed.

Been getting my hair color with highlights, at Ogle, for 8 or 9 years. My hair looks great, healthy and natural. I discovered their skincare a couple of years ago and love the spa facials that are awesome. Love these people!

I really enjoyed Peyton, very nice, styled my very curly hair straight, no frizz, no flat iron. After a cut, condition,, and style , had brow wax. Very professional, very sweet. Great results. Ill definitely go again. !!!

This place is amazing! The girl who attended me today, Brooks (I forgot her name my mind is so bad) did an amazing work with my hair!! Last year I had a pretty bad experience with the person who did my hair in another place and I was afraid of that. But this girl was so kind and they listen what you really want and they do it!!! Im going back for highlights!! And its not expensive at all!!

Never had an issue going here for a haircut, its way cheaper than getting cut at a barber salon and they do a fine job...i dont get what people are tripping about when theyre students lol (which means theyre learning) of course theyre going to take longer than a licensed professional. It does take a bit longer but thats why when ive went i prepared in advance, and its to be expected.

Always a top notch haircut. Plenty of consultation from their supervisors and lots of attention/input from all of the stylists. The colorists are knowledgeable, well educated and did a fantastic job on my hair.

Dont bother going in for a updo a 5 yr old can do something better, and the teachers wont bother helping even when you say plz the student doesnt know what to do, they say we cant do it for them they must learn On their own but you end up looking like you have a bird nest on your head took it all down in the car and very expensive for a updo at a school over $40 might as well go to a regular salon. The school needs major help in teaching updos or any fancy hair type thing.

Took 5 FIVE hours to get a full foil hi light and trim. Which turned out nothing like I wanted. My hair is pecan brown and I barely see any hi lights. The stylist (cough) talked more than he worked, nit only to me but the other girls. He took 15 minutes trying to comb my hair in the shampoo bowl!!! Then asked tge girl next to him what does the toner do? I had my entire back of my shirt soaked down to the top of my pants. I am so 😡 that I paud $50 for a wet back, pecan brown hair and a stiff neck, plus five hours of my time because he asked so many questions, talked way too much and simply should not be on the floor yet. The instructor could tell I was agitated and not happy with the service. Five hours. $50. No hi lights that I can see. 😠 Angry!!!

Had my hair cut, bleached, and had my brows touched, couldnt be any more satisfied, BUT keep in mind this is a school, COME IN WITH TIME as there will be times a teacher will explain or demonstrate techniques, procedures, etc. to the student. I came in at 9 and left at almost 12, worth the wait, but if youre in the fast lane save it for another day.

I will not recommend you go there, Jodi and Rebecca messed up my hair pretty bad and ended up doing something totally different of what I asked, then they made me come back the next day so they could try to fix it and they ended up telling me Ill have to go to a salon so they can do what I want, why they didn’t tell me that before ruined my hair? Plus they didn’t even know how to cut my hair! They also did that wrong!I would even consider taking classes in that place.

I usually go the school by the northeast mall but I decided to try this one. This was the worst relaxer I ever received and I was not pleased

The discount isnt worth it, plan to be there all day, shop up to appointments and not have color, told one price then paid another at checkout, moved appointment back because stylist called in and then couldnt finish the cut and color so had to come back another day. Save yourself the time and stress and go to a salon. I paid $100 for one daughter and $78 for the other. Had I just went to a salon it would have been close to this and been done in a couple hours not 9-3 appointment after being there for a cut the day before and running out of time for color. Worst experience ever!

I had a horrible experience at Ogle today. The receptionist I felt was racist towards me. It was not a friendly environment. I stood in the lobby for 33 minutes and was not greeted and she did not even make eye contact with me. She was on her personal phone. She completely ignored me and when a Caucasian walked up to the desk she stopped everything she was doing to help them and continued to ignore me. She then said “Oh you need help or something” I said yes I’ve been standing here since 3 to get a wash and blowout and she then said they stopped doing that at 3:30. It was 3:33. It was like she pretty much made me wait until after 3:30 so she couldn’t help me. The way she looked at my hair (I’m natural) was with disgust. I told her well mam I’ve been standing here since 3 and then a student who came out and was checking someone out told me they stopped at 3. She also changed the time when she looked at my hair. I felt humiliated and the customers were even looking at me so I just left. I do not recommend this location for black women at all.

I had an awesome experience at Ogle. I had a haircut and highlights by a lady named Shawna. She is great! The staff at Ogle is very nice too!

If there is a zero rate I would have chosen it.I went last week to get my hair partial red and partial blonde. I had my old blonde from the middle of my hair down to the ends. I had my original natural hair color from the roots to the middle part of my hair.I didn’t have high expectations because the equation was easy to get my hair natural color part to the blonde to match what I originally had and to have few red strands blend with it.1 st time I went it took them 4 hours and I found out they put red color on the roots of my whole top part of my head not even few strands! I didn’t know why but some of the roots didn’t get the red color because my natural hair color is dark. It ended up by having red patches on the top of my hair along with the darker ones. The girl was nice enough to apologize and she said she did the formula that the instructor gave her. So they asked me to come back to correct the color and get the blonde highlights. To make the story short I went and they put me with a different person although I told them I have my appointment with the same girl who started my hair last time. Without even considering any consequences they put me with another girl who asked a different instructor and of course they messed up my hair more. After 3 different instructors came by, each one put their opinion and I paid the price! The blonde highlights didn’t turn blonde but my whole hair became neon or bright red. Then one of the instructors said plan A is messed up we will have to find plan B!! He was the same guy who told me last week oh darling that color would look good on you the blend of red and blonde!!!!Then the other instructor when she came to see my hair she made a shocking non ecpactant surprise look of the messed up process!! They had to tone it to a darker color that is not matching my face simply because it was their only option. Then the instructor guy says there is no way we can pull the red off to be a blonde now. Of course it’s not your fault. Our products that we have at the place won’t do it!!!!! It’s a secince and we will have to separate our emotions!! At the end they said they will try to correct that and get the blonde but after some weeks not now. All the students who saw me kept saying bless your heart, we could only imagine. My question is if they couldn’t pull the red off now why they would after some weeks?!The 3rd instructor came because the other 2 were on lunch. She told the student girl just tone the hair with more red and add some accent blonde highlights. So it made the red color more worse.Oh I forgot to say that the 2nd time I stayed 6 hours! The end result is not expected! Totally disappointed in everything! If the 3 instructors didn’t know how to do a process or care what to do right, then I won’t expect the students to know what to do.I asked to cut my hair to layers and I don’t want even to go to that. It’s another messed up process.I heard a lot of good and bad about the place but I don’t know if it’s the instructors staff need to be changed or what. Something is not right at that place for sure. Never never never never I would trust them again with my hair. I paid last time full price and this time (after they talked to the owner of the salon) for the toner color that darken my hair which I am NOT satisfied with it because they didn’t have any other options to do and the shampoo plus the tip. They don’t have a refunding policy. They would blame it on your hair that it doesn’t pull up the color right!! They make you pay no matter what. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen!If you plan to do hair color, I would say save some $$ and go to someone whom you can trust to do a professional job and not have to even worry about it!

I had been getting my hair dyed for a while here but i went to a different place and it turns out they ysed different dye color on my hair all the time which caused it to look like a raccoons tail. Also after having my hair done elsewhere it came out SOO much better! I will never be coming back to Ogle because they teach their students in correctly and pretty much ruined my hair so i had to get it fixed.

Maybe they should tell you before they go scissor happy that they cant do what your asking, I showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted BEFORE cutting, and after they destroyed me they had the nerve to say well your hairs was too Long for that style.. Tell your clients you cant do it first before making them run to the bathroom in tears to tell them next time youll know.. Had hair down past my bum and I went in asking for layers but no length taken off, ended up ruining me and I had to have about 7 inches In total removed because she cut my layers too close my head. I cried so hard I was so hysterical I couldnt tell them how I really felt. Went home, looked at my hair and it was uneven too so I had to fix that MYSELF. Havent had my hair cut by a stylist in 6 years and this is why. So thanks for that I got looking at it and the layers are still to close to the top and the rest is just hanging there like a mullet. Worst hair cut Ive ever gotten Im so depressed.Edit*I dont live in texas and there is nothing to be done anyways my hairs still a mess, i was hoping it would grow out nicely like everyone told me it would but its even worse now. Seriously just make sure your stylists know their limits, and also ive never had this done before she put some kind of oily spray in my hair when she was cutting, and it made my hair stringy and tangled while she was cutting it, I never understood that and it needed to be washed out when she was done. It was the most awkward experience and I hope it never happens to anyone else

Always come here for a quick haircut! Inexpensive and convenient. I also like helping the girls out.

Jordan sumner did a hair treatment and blow dry on my hair. She was very professional and explained to me what she was doing the whole time. She explained her bloom to me and showed me what she could do for my hair. She also recommended product too me. Dean was the teacher and was very friendly and out going. I would recommend jordan sumner and ogle school to all my friends

Im in phase 1 and so far its great! My phase 1 teacher mr.young is a awesome teacher! He helps you go thru the steps and helps you understand what you are learning! this is also a great school its a great hands on learning site, on my first day it was already hands on leaning to shampoo and everything!

Today I had the pleasure of having a wonderful microdermabrasion done at Olge school. My appointment started promptly and I was given a consultation explaining the procedure and I was also able to ask any questions I had. If you want an awesome microdermabrasion I would definitely recommend this place my skin looks so beautiful and it’s glowing. Also the woman who did my facial Sashauna Lockley was amazing and very knowledgeable, I would recommend her to anyone wanting to experience a wonderful facial!!!!
