I graduated from this school I am pleased to say the instructors taught me a lot! I did really well in school great attendance, good grades, and most of all I succeeded in completing the Hair College course and I am Licensed now. I thank my clinic floor instructor Keisha and Heather B who gave me a special name lol (Special K). Keisha taught me so much and I still hear her voice when I am doing hair at a current salon I work at and remembering what she taught in theory as well. She truly has a gift for teaching and the theory course is amazing! Heather is a awesome haircut and color master! I can’t leave out Debra aka miss Debbie lol she was my crazy cool fun phase 1 instructor, she taught me my first swing Bob cut and she can do a amazing clipper cut and inspired me to get into clipper cuts. Debbie is the reason I sought employment at one of my very first salon jobs, I am currently still working there! Thank you for your recommendation! Georji is also a knowledgeable clinic floor instructor, she was in school when I started Cosmetology school to obtain her instructors License and now she works there! She started working there when I was getting ready to graduate but she helped me with any questions I had and she helped me prepare for my State Board practical and I passed on my first try!!!! If anyone says otherwise about this school it’s because they didn’t apply themselves and work the program accordingly to be successful. Thank you ITS #15!!

I went to get my hair permed and as embarrassing as it is to say. The manager told me I was infested with head Lice and the lady across from me just looked at me. She said it several times people were looking at me. So I did what anyone would do I went to get after my daughter because the only people I have near me is my grand daughters. So I got my hair checked and it was a bad case of dandruff. So if you want to get embarrassed go there they will do a good job of it. They also embarrassed my ex-brother-in-law that I gave a ride to get his hair cut. They went up to him didnt find anything and told him to be careful because I was infested they also let everyone hear and see how they treated him. These people need to learn what the difference between live and dandruff look like before embarrassing anyone out loud

I went for a hair cut My sister-in-law was going for a perm they had to check her hair because she had dyed her hair In july. They told her she had to leave because she was infested with lice. She was mad and talked to her daughter because the only people shes around was her grand daughters she got her hair checked and there was no lice.She had a bad case of dandruff.After. That the employee went to where i was and checked my hair in front of some students i was embarresed because they told me that i had to be checked and to be carefull because my sister-in-law was highly infested with lice.They were verry unprofessionaland did handle situationwell.

I attended in 2015 I honestly loved this school. I had so much going on in my personal life that I decided to transfer to the ITS Academy in Hurst but I had regretted it because it was so different. I finally have graduated from Ogle school this past year and am now licensed. I loved Mrs Debbie and Mrs Kim whenever I was here and Mrs heather was also very helpful. I love that they do everything Hair, Skin, & Nails. I made so many friends in 2015 and still till this day speak to them. I didn’t graduate from here but I still liked my experience here.

The Instructors are Amazing! The instructors and this school is very informative, I went to this Academy to Strictly learn makeup skills and to enhance mine, like seriously my intentions were to only advance in makeup!!! I didn’t care about the hair, nails, and chemicals! I walked out of that school a year later with Expert knowledge in Hair, skin, and nail Anatomy! I left with the passion for makeup, hair and nails!! I left with Confidence, and how to work in a salon setting, as a stylist and customer service skills! All the essentials to make more money! I have been to this beauty school a number of times over the years with a different outcome everytime. I only go to have my hair flat ironed and ends clipped about twice a year. I understand these are students and they are at different points of there schooling. I am African American and I wear my hair natural. On June 22 ,2018 I went to have my hair flat ironed for the purpose of clipping my ends. I was pleased with the result and even called back to give the young lady a compliment. The first time I washed my hair and my curl pattern did not return, I thought the young lady had the flat irons turned up too high and had damaged my hair. I made sure to deep condition and treat my hair with a hot oil treatment weekly. Fast forward 3 months and my curl pattern does not return and my hair starts to shed. I realize the young lady put relaxer in my hair when she claimed she was going to get more conditioner. I am very disappointed because I take pride in my African heritage and my hair is one of the ways I display my pride. I did not authorize any chemicals to be put in my hair nor did I pay for any. We all know you do not get anything for free. Now my thought is what should I do next. I dont know how this can be fixed because you CAN NOT remove a relaxer it has to grow out.

This is an amazing establishment, the staff was so friendly and attentive to us. The students were very professional and gave us great haircuts. I was very impressed with the prices and how clean it was. We will definitely be back.

I’m a stay-at-home mom my baby is only 2-months-Old and I’m a breastfeeding so I can’t leave my baby long. I asked if I could bring him with me during his nap time while I get a quick style done (he would be sleep in his stroller). She told me no I have to have someone sit with him. I’m new to this city so I don’t have any friends or family here. I could see if my baby was walking around or something but he’s not allowed there while he’s sleeping.

The 1 star is a true review based on my experience at this establishment. A detailed review is not needed since this event occurred over 3 months ago and there is nothing you can do to rectify the outcome. However, since I understand the situation could be used as a learning experience for your students in the future I will go ahead and share my experience. I came in to have my hair done with simple curls. First of all the instructor that greeted me was very rude. Older lady with blonde hair. The student that did my hair could not figure out how to do my hair and was obviously inexperienced with different hair textures outside of her own ethnic community. She tried 4 different hot/curling irons and had 3 other students trying to help her. It really isnt hard to do. I curl my hair with a straightener or a wand and it comes out perfect, on this day I just didnt want to spend the time doing it myself. The student had a hard time figuring out what to do or how to curl my hair type. Spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what hot tool she was going to use. Waited 10 minutes for the curling iron to get hot then finally realized it wasnt even plugged in🤦‍♀️At the end she had another student put 2 braids in the front of my head with a middle part, (something I did not ask for but I was pressed for time) to keep her from having to do more curls in the front, I guess less work for her. I was unhappy with the outcome and by the look on the other students faces I wasnt the only one unimpressed. You get what you pay for and I understand the students are still learning, however they should teach the students how to work on different hair types. Not everyone hair is the same.

So friendly walked in the door and felt so welcomed!Karen Gonzalez is amazing great cut,friendly,the scalp massage put me to sleep.Everyone was so sweet!

Its was a great experience i get my haircut there every time it is also a great place to get you nails done to and they dont have a long line

Happy that i chose this school. The instructors are always willing to help and the students are friendly and work well together.

Well a month ago i gone to this place wanting to get a hair cut but was not successful because i had to wait over 45 minutes and then when 2 of them got off break they completely ignored me they immediately started on someone elses hair and they didnt have an appt either i was promised after they got off break they would cut my hair. Maybe its because they didnt wanna deal with cutting my long hair or maybe they just didnt like the way i look who knows. And as i was leaving everybody decided to give me a dirty look. And no this place wasnt full at all. The person that came in way after me got taken care of immediately and us too were the only customers. I will never come back after being treated so poorly
