This school is the place to go if you want an excellent education. The teachers are caring, hardworking, and smart. They go out of their ways to help each student excel and succeed in their classes. This school, though strict, really wants the best for each student. The rules are here to protect everyone inside the building and because of these rules there are no drugs , crimes, or any form of violence happening inside this school. Along with all of this, there is a 100% graduation rate and every senior at this school will graduate with an acceptance into a 4 year college. There are all sorts of after school clubs and the sports teams are making their way up every year! Many new exciting things are happening this year as well. Since Harmonys main focus is on student education it came as a lovely surprise that there was a middle school dance along with a high school dance in late November and early December. Overall if you want your child in a safe environment, and a place where they will get a better education than any other school in fort worth...then this is the place to go.

This school is amazing. The quality of the education here is AMAZING. There is a strict dress code but it’s so we can learn to stay in dress code when we are older. All the staff their are so nice. I totally recommend this school:

I have been a proud Harmony parent for nine years. I have three sons, my oldest son graduated from HSI in 2015 a received a merit based scholarship to attend the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC. He transitioned to the rigors of college and had a very successful first semester. My second son is currently a Junior and the school offers him the ability to take Dual Credit classes at UTA in a special High School Honors Program. Administration is available to discuss concerns and helps support my children reach their full potential. My youngest is a sixth graded and has been given opportunities to expand his interest in after school programs and the gifted and talented program. I am an active parent at the school and I think that helps my understanding of the inner workings and to know about all the opportunities available. It is a very good college preparatory school.

As a former student of Harmony School of Innovation, I can say with pride that it is indeed, a wonderful school. The teachers are kind and caring, they will care for you no matter what. The dress code is spectacular and makes sure that everyone, no matter what gender or race, feel the same. The counselors are kind and listen intently, they will always be there for you. After school clubs are very entertaining, I myself made the Anime club there. But the school is mainly focused on its physical activity. The many sports you can join are challenging and yet exciting. And as long as you behave and maintain a very good grade, youll have no problem at this school.

This school has good education and is respectable, dont get me wrong. However, if your child is coming from a public school like i did, it will be a different animal. i am not even remotely happy here, i dread waking up every morning and going here. I do know that despite that, i am getting one of the best educations you can get. this school is not a joke and demands your best and it WILL get exhausting to the point where you will want to pull your hair out. The lunch is a serious problem and needs attention, it will sometimes be cold but most of the times it is just flat out disgusting, and we cant buy drinks or snacks to flush out the taste. this stems from poor funding that is visible from the moment you walk in, old classrooms, no bus system, and old and broken desks. Contrary to this your student is provided a chrome book model n21 or n22. You may miss out on the true high school experience, but you will definitely become a better (not happier) student.Update: this is the year after my initial review and there is something about harmony that seriously needs attention. This school lacks funding. In my algebra 2 class my classmates and I constantly fought on who got the good chairs. Yes you read that right, the good chairs. About four or five of the chairs were broken or bent to the point where sitting in them was painful, especially after an hour and a half. There was one chair in particular which I had the joy of sitting in plenty of times throughout the year. This chair had a crack that basically split the chair in two down the middle. Point is, please get this school more funding, for both chairs and lunches. Oh and at lunch, why not let us use our phones? I dont talk to many people at lunch so I usually end up sitting there staring at the wall.

I wouldnt give this 5 stars i just wanted people to see it. In fact its in the negatives for stars. The school sucks. They will constantly punish the people who didnt do anything. They will push aside any focus on being write to enforce justice but when you give them some facts its like you are around a bunch of babies.

I study at this school only 3.5 months, when I came to this school I was hard with the language because I live in America for only 8 months. But teachers always help, if I have any questions then they explain, if I do not understand the topic, then I can come after school and they will explain everything that I did not understand. Also I really like the school uniform because it helps to concentrate on studying. In this school a good education program for admission to the University.

I am a student here at harmony school of innovation, and I was here since they first opened harmony science academy way back in the day, and was then moved to the new harmony school of innovation campus. I enjoy going to this school and have enjoyed it for the past 12 years, I started here in kindergarten and have stayed all the way up to today where I am in 11th grade, and I still love it here. This school has given me every opportunity to better myself and my education and my teachers always push me to achieve my goals and set those goals even higher. So, I would say that if you need a good school in the fort worth area, this is your best choice.

As someone who has been going here since the school was first built, it has had its ups and its downs. The good part of this school is the education and how most teachers will take time to make sure the student understands the material, however the bad part of this school is how they hire some teachers are very lackluster when it comes to teaching to the course they are supposed to teach. I never experienced this but I have heard from my piers that they some of their teachers if you ask them a question over the material the teacher will respond with Well, you should have been paying attention even though they took notes over the material.

Harmony School of Innovation is a wonderful school that teaches STEM. In Harmony the reviews before this have been about how the school has terrible lunches and strict dress code, but these are very minor issues. If you come to Harmony they teach and prepare you for college. The matter of lunches doesnt matter in the long run, while starting off your childs life with the education needed to succeed in life is something necessary to get into colleges.

Love this school. I was actually not going to attend this school for middle school. I was attending a public school, but that school had bad kids that will do bad things every day. My mom wanted me safe and decided to make me attend this school. On the very first day here, I was kind of sad of being separated from my old friends. I hope someday, I will see them again.

My kids have been attending this school for 6 years now and have always loved it. The teachers are very helpful and offer tutoring when needed. They never tolerate bullying. My daughter got bullied at Crowley middle school and Mary Harris in the past and is very grateful to be at HSI.

I went to Harmony from 6th through 12 grade and currently work there part-time as an intern. My experience with the school has been unparalleled. There are so many caring educators there who have changed my perspective on the world in many ways. The school continues to support students beyond graduation, by offering scholarships to those in honors programs and part-time positions that work with a college schedule. The small atmosphere makes everyone (students, parents, and teachers) feel at home. It truly is special.

Idk the school is fine I guess but the teachers are kinda annoying at times. It is kinda funny though that everyone is calling the uniforms sonic uniforms. Education is above average its just that none of the students respect the teachers or care to listen to them

This school is very challenging and will prepare your child for college, however a large portion of the staff lacks respect and responsibility. For my past six years here at Harmony, Ive maintained an A-B average and have learned lots of new concepts and things that will hopefully prepare me for the real world, however most of the people Im around that are in Pre-AP classes are depressed, and usually tired. This may be because of the extreme amount of work we have to do, or because of the strict discipline and dress code policies here at HSI. Lots of times, it comes down to the mood your teacher is in for whether or not you get in trouble for whatever it is that youre doing. Also, many teachers have failed to put in grades when they say they will, and are inconsistent with the assignments that they put in for grades. Having empathy for your teacher if theyre having a bad day can be necessary, but it should not change your daily routine or how much work you have to do. This is a turkish based school, and we have lots of turkish teachers who are hard to keep up with as they speak. As absurd as this may sound to you, teacher have favored students of the same sex over other students. Also, the dress code policy: you will be sent home and receive DPS for not wearing a belt, even if you can prove that your pants have elastic bands on the insides of them to keep the pants at the waist level. You are also not allowed to have bright colored shoes, because they can be a distraction to those around you. This is just a sample of what usually happens at Harmony School of Innovation.

The school is definitely not for slackers. HSI expects a lot from their students and parents. My daughter is going on her 5th year at HSI and absolutely loves it. They challenge the students more than any school I know, which is what she needed. Her STAAR results were Average when she first started. The past two years she has received a Masters Grade Level for Math.
