I honestly dont like this school because teachers always talk down on students, instead of motivating us they tell us that we are not going to graduate and that were not good enough to go to college. which is why I dont recommend this school for the ones who want to come here.

I the only problem it’s hard to get in contact with my son teacher but I got my son a Mentor at the school to talk to to communicate with his teachers so now I don’t have any problems

My child (2nd grade) has improved so much since she’s been coming to this school, I couldn’t be more happier. Her teacher is very nice but firm, and my baby absolutely loves her. She communicates with me the good and bad, she even offers tutoring twice a week. My only concern is with the teachers that teach the specials, art, music, etc... They don’t reach out like the main teacher does and I understand that we’re all busy , but if the parents get a little feed back we can help on our end. Nevertheless Uplift is an awesome school in my eyes, Therefore I have enrolled my eldest child to attend next year (7th grade). Yay!!!

Shool great carline a plus but can yall controlthese walmart kids. I mean seriously. They come out of class into the streets in front of cars. There needs to be orderly here. Walk single file on one side. Cops play on phones and do nothing. Why are they there. This is nerding attention.

Some of the teachers are biased and have favorites which is unfair to the class. This one teacher, wholl remain unnamed, was laughing a long with her favorites and I decide to laugh along. She completely changed and yelled at us to get back to work. So unfair

I dont like this school. I didnt know teachers have favorites. Teachers say they love you and care about you, But in reality they ignore you and their always hanging out with the bad, bully, popular students. Take for example hispanic heritage month. The only people who where dancing where popular people only. My friend wanted to dance too but the bad bullies told him he couldnt. And not just that. One time I walked into Ms.Deloaches class room. She got mad at me just for stoping by and Saiyng hello and told me to get out. When I walked out a nother student from my grade walked in to say hi aswell. Ms.Deloach didnt mind at all I MEAN WHAT IS THAT!👿😞. The student who also walked in happens to be a popular but bad student. This is my point. Everyone should be treated equally. The people who get the most attention are the most popular and bad boys/girls. I hope this school fixes the problem. And if you want an idea. Add a new policy. Teachers are not allowed to have favorite students. Teachers should treat all their students with kindness and respect. And teachers who treat students differently should be removed. That is all I have to say. Oh and also this school should fix that No food policy. Because teachers give the popular students food and they allow them to eat it in class. Thank you I hope you fix this problem soon. We are Mighty!

I would not recommend any child with special needs attending this school. I pleaded all school year for my child to be evaluated the school was very. Hesitant to help me now he has been diagnosed with autisim and he has struggled with his behaviors all year i spent the first half of the school year sitting in his classroom observing his behaviors with no diagnosis and with many incedent reports pertaining to my child I even had someone tell me they didnt think he needed medicine.Think twice before enrolling a child with special needs unless you already have everthing in place. Also dont pay in advance for weekend sports clinics or camps I am still waiting for my refund from a canceled event it has been 2 months and I have been given the run around.still waiting may 22 school is out on the 26.

The School is going down. There is no school spirit. No pride in the school even though they call our Mighty team The Pride as in a lion pride.. The director Doesent support Choir and other Electives..And Teachers always end up leaving and never last... very few have stayed.. and now the Choir Teacher.. a Amazing teacher..who took its Choir to win many trophies and taught them good..wont be teaching Choir.. due to that Choir is not being supported. Theirs no Band..And Barely any programs that a Scholar or student might be interested in..earlier in the year they had to call up people to prevent depression because a lot of people are apparently unhappy or depressed.. The only thing keeping me from Leaving to another high school is Friends the amazing teachers.. and that IB Diploma that we get at the end of Highschool.... And from what I see they put more consequences for being out of uniform than in turning in homework or low grades... This School Doesent offer a high school experience.. and poorly executes consequences or punishments to those that deserve it.. Teachers actually care about their students andal are very good but to see some leave because how this school is being run makes me hate what this school has become.
