I am a student at this dojo, (currently a green belt) and I cannot recommend it enough. The instructors are so passionate about karate and you can tell they value their students. When I was newer into my training, I always felt like the skill ceiling was way too high for me and I should just give up, but the instructors always knew when I felt discouraged, and they would always pull me aside after class and give me motivation again. If you are far into karate, or if you are a complete beginner, give this dojo a try. The style of IsshinRyu has an amazing history, and the katas and techniques we learn in class are taken from every style, so this is a great way to learn and expand your self-defense arsenal. 10/10

The instructors are amazing and really care about the students. You can tell it is more than a job, it is their passion.

I take two of my boys here. Great instructors. They make it fun and are patient. They are learning so much after only a couple of weeks! Im very impressed! I definitely recommend them!

Mr Jason & team you definitely deserve 5 star , he is the best instructor I have ever meet. He is most Humble person , very professional , knows how to deal with kids and adults. My daughter just joined his for 2 months and now she has learned a lot , self defense, confident and discipline. Thank you so much Jason sir I wish you all very best.

Karate at TIKA has brought out the best in my son. He has grown more confident in himself and his abilities. He has learned to take on new things and not give up, all while making friends that he talks to outside of karate. TIKA teachers make him want to go to class and practice to get better. He sets goals for himself to get to the next stripe or belt, he has never set goals like that before. He wants to teach others what he knows and does it enthusiastically.My son has found a sport for a lifetime and for that I am very grateful to the teachers that give of their time to give him a chance to find his strength like none others have

Having learned leadership, commitment, determination in the academy has put G in a possession to compete at a high level. I have had parents ask about his training. A great deal of credit is to his instructors and the opportunity the academy has offered G to express his skills while learning new ones.If you want your child to get one up on the world of team sports competition, I recommend TIKA! G is a starting linebacker, a starting point guard, and an all-star pitcher/catcher/third baseman.
