My daughter has been taking lessons on guitar for several months now at Music Junkie Studios. Our entire family could not be more happy with the studio. My daughter absolutely loves going to lessons and is even excited about practicing. They truly create a wonderful landscape of music for her and its made such a difference in her enjoyment of learning something that can be challenging. As a musician, it took a long time to decide what studio I would send my daughter too and I am confident we made the right choice. Their customer service and knowledge of each student and what they are into regarding music are rare. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, the way they run the studio, and the style by which they teach. We all love this place.

Music for Littles is the perfect fit for our little 2- almost 3 year-old! Miss Maria is enthusiastic, supportive and kind. We highly recommend and plan to continue taking Ana to her 1:1 lessons for a long time. Our favorite part is that she sings along to her favorites at home and even makes up her own songs.Oh, and they are incredibly flexible in offering make up lessons if schedules don’t allow you to go every week.

I enrolled my daughter for virtual music lessons during quarantine and she was able to discover her love for music. The teachers there are so friendly and kind especially with my shy 6 yo. Everything is super organized for the parents which makes life easy. The owner of the studio Kristi is also super passionate, friendly, and caring about her students and their families. Would highly recommend for any family who wants to introduce music to your children of any age!

Music Junkie is such a joy to our family. Two years ago my son mentioned he wanted to try piano. I knew that he was interested in playing but wasnt sure how long his interest would last. We signed him up for a month of lessons at Music Junkie and I was SO shocked to find that he fell in love with piano INSTANTLY. I 100% attribute that to the staff at Music Junkie and the way that they teach. Here we are, 2 years later and he is still loving piano and loves to practice at home. I know that this is a skill that will be with him forever and I am so happy for him. A BIG thank you to Music Junkie for what they do- spreading the joy of music to young kids. This a great music studio for your kids or adults to take music lessons. The teachers and staff have a genuine interest in their students and in teaching them not only skills but to love music, be creative, and perform. It feels like you’re part of one big musical family! Not to mention they are incredibly flexible and adaptable especially given the recent limitations of the pandemic.

What amazing talent Instructor Raymond Osborne shares and teaches. He has a extensive and diverse range of skills and knowledge. Encouraging, patient and kind. I often think musical talent runs through this mans veins. A real pleasure to work with.

Cody is the best guitar teacher I’ve ever had. I had been playing for about 5 years but I learned very basic stuff. Cody taught me how music actually works together. The way he teaches music theory is easy to learn while still being challenging.

One of the instructors here, Maria Demus, is an outstanding instructor. I know she works hard to make lessons fun and engaging for her students. She has a passion for teaching music and anyone would be lucky to have her as an instructor!

I love this place! Maria is a fantastic violin teacher. She adjusted to teaching online because of Covid-19 and was still able to have progress in the lessons. She breaks down violin knowledge in a way that is accessible and inspiring. She is the best! Highly reccomend!

Ray has been great to work with, and he’s even taken on two other friends of mine that I brought to Ray. I’ve always wanted to get in touch with my musical side and Ray has made my dreams a reality! Highly recommend!

Amazing! I would give 6 stars if I could! Kristi is extremely knowledgeable and offers amazing lessons. I’m a complete beginner and was gifted a guitar as I was eager to learn. I can’t say enough good things about the lessons I received. Her lessons are very thorough and clear, which helped immensely. Highly recommend!

Omg Kristi is amazing... we just had our first coaching session and I got so much clarity. I came to her because I Wanted to learn how to preserve my voice and build my vocal stamina. I work with a lot of clients and do group sessions and I was feeling my voice setting down. She walked me through what is best for my vocal chords in diet and then we did some exercises together. I’m already practicing and feel so much better. I highly reccomend Kristi. She really knows her stuff and she cares!

Music Junkie Studios did a great job lining up the bands for the Music Junkie stage on Park Place for Arts Goggle. There was music for all ages to enjoy. The night ended with Bandaoke which was live band karaoke with the Music Junkie Band. Many people joined in the singing and dancing. It was an awesome end to a great day.

After some disappointing interactions with the owner and her staff, we attempted to cancel our childrens enrollments at Music Junkie. My wife and I asked to be refunded for the month of lessons that were just billed to our credit card. The owner of the studio, Kristi Judd, informed me that she WOULD NOT refund the money and also stated that she took our children off the schedule and sold their spots to someone else. I personally spoke to the owner and politely requested that she keep the tuitions and provide the service, or deny the service and pay back the money, and she said she would do neither. Kristi seems to be personally offended that we are displeased with her business, so she is choosing to steal funds from our family. This is a corrupt business practice. As a concerned father and consumer, I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and will not stop there. BUYER BEWARE. There are plenty of great music teachers in the Fort Worth area. Music Junkie is not one of them.

We know very few people who have had a good experience at Music Junkie Studio on Park Place in Fort Worth. Signing up our kids for lessons with Kristi Judd was a big mistake. Agreeing to an automatic monthly cc draft was an even bigger mistake. The owner and her staff have been impossible to communicate with. My honest review of Music Junkie Studio is that the teaching was sub-par, the lessons are overpriced (I know this now after speaking with other piano teachers in the area) and the business practices are unethical. We have had no choice but to share our honest and accurate review of this business with our friends, neighbors, surrounding neighborhoods, elementary school parents, and public social media forums in our community. Instead of righting the wrongs, Kristi Judd attempts to defend herself against negative reviews by telling more lies. I would hate for anyone else to experience the headache we’ve endured with this company. Our children deserve better.

It’s recently come to my attention that Music Junkie owner, Kristi Judd, replied to my previous review with a false and slanderous account of our interactions. Ms. Judd is entitled to respond to customer reviews, but NOT with inaccurate and defamatory remarks. I have reported Ms. Judd’s comments to Google, and I will proceed to set the record straight. At NO point did my spouse ever say she would “make things awkward.” This is an outright lie Ms. Judd put into quotes, and we’ve retained all the correspondence to prove it. To the contrary, our communication to Ms. Judd clearly states that her hostility and unprofessionalism would undoubtedly make things awkward at future music lessons. Furthermore, the concerns we brought before Ms. Judd had nothing to do with make-up policies. Again, Ms. Judd created this lie to conceal the fact that we originally expressed disappointment in her staff. Complaints against her business continue to grow as Kristi Judd violated her own policies and attempted to bill our credit card for services not rendered. Our ultimate priority is the safety of our children, and I refuse to be intimidated by a struggling and incompetent music school.
