My Mom spent her final days at Universal, and I can not overstate the dignity and peace she was able to have by being there. We feel so lucky to have found Universal and were so happy our Mom could be there to the end

Highly recommended! The staff goes above and beyond to care for your love-one and keep you informed of his/her condition. Honestly cannot say enough good things about this facility. Their genuine concern, kindness and professionalism made a very difficult time a little more bearable.

Remarkable!!! We have been here for over a week with multiple visits from friends and family. We have stayed plenty of days & stayed over several nights so we see the consistency that makes everything flow. We definitely appreciate the staff more than words can say. This place is a blessing that can be felt as soon as you walk into the facility. The at-home feel is something that is helping everyone during this time of our lives. There are so many things that leave you in awe from the staff to the layout all the way to the amenities. Never being in this type of situation leaves so many questions about the what is or what happens when hospice is needed. All of your questions and concerns are fully addressed. You will have a full understanding as to where life has taken you and your loved one. From the moment you walk in the door you are met with a friendly greeting. It is truly a lovely place that you appreciate as you began the transition in your family knowing that your loved one is in great hands. God has truly blessed us & this place.

The staff is amazing and the hospice care incredible. If can not care for your loved one at home. This is the next best thing.

Nursing staff was wonderful, caring and compassionate, and kept me informed along the journey.....and since my husband’s passing, their bereavement counselor has kept in touch and sends periodic encouraging letters with helpful tips during the grieving process. Thanks for everything team!

My mother was only here for one day before she passed but our experience with this facility was wonderful. Our whole family including the kids had a place to gather to be with her in her last hours. The kids had a movie room and there was a family tv room that gave us privacy. The staff were very kind and supportive. It is a beautiful facility and the feeling of love and support just radiates from every corner.Thank you.

We brought my mother home because we simply could not afford to place her in a facility. When I was being sold on hospice care, I was told I would get a lot more help than I actually did.

My grandfather is currently here on hospice. The nurse is denying him food and drink saying we have to sign a waiver for him to have WATER. I’m a medical speech language pathologist with background in the nursing home and I know this is absolute b.s. Definition of barbaric, ignorant, uneducated, and outdated practice.

When our mother fell/broke her pelvis in Mansfield, Texas, throwing her Alzheimers beyond all torture and sending her to hospice ... the family was both stunned and unprepared. Initially, I had resisted Universal Health because it seemed far away and I was just scared about hospice. This turned out to be the very best thing we could have ever done. Emotionally, spiritually, mentally, even physically -- they were so good for us. They care for and loved our mom in a way that we can only now appreciate. It hurts - even now - to write a review about my mothers passing but in honor of my mother, I want other families with hurting/ailing loved ones to know that this is the place you want to be in those final hours. Mom died on Christmas eve - she died peacefully, without the agony she had been in before, and with us by her side. xxoo
