This is a great school that understands the needs of the primary student they are serving; the military. I love being an alum.
Biggest waste of time.... took an online course and an in class course out of Alliance, Fort Worth. I drove a half hour for the in class and I was the only student there. Oh, and the instructor was on a telecom out of Georgia and seemed to have little knowledge or maybe no interest in the course. They wouldnt let me take it from my the house so I dropped it.The online English class was $2200 I believe. 9 or 10 weeks of assignments that asked questions like, Compare writing to a food. Ungraded, except for participation. Half the assignments were graded as participation only with no grading of the actual writings. So, essentially I learned absolutely nothing. The actual graded writing assignments were loosely graded as in only the more obvious mistakes were marked if at all. I just ignored the last two weeks, never logged in again.Ill be honest too, Im not a big supporter of colleges and the way they are currently structured. But, I went in to this as objectively as I could because I really had an interest in their unmanned course. Ive been working as a field engineer in the military drone field for 8 years now. Programming, connecting armed air vehicles with satellites and troops conducting live operations. Its an exciting field and possibilities are seemingly limitless. I just cant see wasting time with bloat courses to get to what I am really interested in.
