Took my daughters clarinet in for repairs. They rented us a loaner while they got the job done. Great people! And my daughter is happy and playing her clarinet again!

Shuffs Music supported my children going on eight years. They spent 1:1 time with each of my children to determine which instrument to play for band or to pick out a guitar. Shuffs management and staff are sincere in the services they provide and are knowledgeable in the products they sell. Their store is charming. Thank you Shuffs!

The guitar strings are ridiculously cheap here. Much cheaper than Guitar Center and most guitar stores Ive been to. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. There arent a lot of accessories for guitar specifically, its more essentials for a wide array of instruments.

I brought in a 70s Alvarez that I used for recording and live shows. It had some tuning issues up the neck and some buzzing. Most likely, It just needed some truss rod adjustment and some graphite on the nut. They wanted to sell me new strings and put them on for me. Um, idk about strings. They called me back a week later and raised the price. I said ok whatever, I just needed it fixed. When I got my guitar back it was apparent to me that the only work done on it was a string change, which I didnt need. I can do that myself. This happened in 2005 or so and I have told at least a thousand musicians this story in the Nashville area. If you cant fix it, or dont want to, just say so. Dont try to make an easy buck off the guy you think doesnt know anything and wont know the difference. Well, Im not a noob and I noticed instantly. I ended up fixing it myself. Thanks for nothing, Shuffs. The last place I want to spend money on instruments after that is Shuffs. You can do much better.

Wow to this store. Amber was absolutely phenomenal in our piano rental process. She was completely positive, extremely quick to respond, knowledgeable and willing to stay overtime to help us find the right piano (due to my inability to arrive earlier in the afternoon). We did end up finding the right piano for us, and the renting aspect--with the option to purchase- is absolutely ideal. Especially since we are military and arent sure we want to transport a piano around the various states. We are so glad we stumbled upon Shuffs. Ask for Amber when you go-- she will take amazing care of you no matter how much you end up --or dont end up--spending there. She isnt about the money, she is about finding you the right piano, whatever that may be.

Beautiful and thoughtful arrangement of a variety of instruments from pianos, to banjos, guitars, including many wind instruments. A great variety of brands, some I’m more familiar with than others but I didn’t see a Mason & Hamlin grand piano (which is my absolute favorite). But that’s ok. The host of the shop was especially helpful and friendly. Charming place in Franklin, Tennessee for musicians and artists.

My husband and I went into Shuff’s piano showroom last weekend to look at pianos, and we fell in love with the first one we were shown! We worked with Amber Thruman, who was such a joy! She was extremely knowledgeable about the pianos and so personable! We needed some time to discuss finances and had to pick up our dogs from the local groomer. Amber was so sweet and even let us bring our 2 dogs in the piano showroom once we were ready to purchase! Our piano delivery date was set up and we had our new piano in our home a few days later. We even received a personal thank you letter in the mail. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We came in just to listen to different models and get an idea of which pianos we want to consider. We talked with the owner. He went above and beyond to help us. There was not an ounce of salesman pressure. When we went to leave he gave me his personal cell number and said we were welcome to call him as we are shopping to ask questions and help us any way he can. We were impressed based on the customer service alone.

I had the opportunity to go into Shuffs Music & Piano Showroom a few months ago because both of my children have played piano for a while and we are doing research on the cost to upgrade to an actual piano verses the keyboard they currently use. Although it was very clear that I was not in the market to buy a piano that day and was only gathering information I was given the red carpet treatment. Ron Shuff took the time to give me a full presentation on what they had to offer along with educating me on the fundamentals of the piano structure as a whole. He even invited me to bring my children in so they could touch and play the pianos. Customer service certainly is still held in high regard with this business! It was a very pleasant experience.

Shuffs has been around for a long time and has been dependable as well. We had a tenor sax worked on there and they gave us a loaner for $12, now thats a deal!

Weve been Shuff fans for years and cant say enough about how helpful they are....Sarah is my personal fav but all the cute staffers are helpful, interested and knowledgeable. Weve bought guitars, violins, a base, mandolin and now our most recent purchase a ukulele and taken base lessons...they are hometown Franklin folks who support our community in so many ways.
