Great School for CDL Training! Mostly only 3-10ish other students daily as of writing this review. Theyre open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m through the whole week with some exceptions. The instructors Paul, Sonny, Billy, and Derek were all helpful and patient. They teach both auto and manual. Things Id recommend you do if you plan on going. Get the permit already, so you dont have to do the 40-hour class (Before the 2022 Deadline where its required). From my experience for the pre-trip, if they havent made the diagram of the truck yet just record the instructors (Paul mostly did it) doing the pre-trip. Then make a diagram yourself and study it. The maneuvers, Sonnys instruction helped the most. However, with little extra details from Billy made it better. On the Road, Sonny brings you out if you choose auto and Billy brings you out if you choose manual. While Derek brings you out on the road in either.

My son Nicholas took his driving class here and Kelly was amazing 🤩 100 stars ⭐️ if possible! Kelly communicate very well always keeping me informed with what’s going on. Thank you for for everything Kelly.

My sixteen year old daughter did private lessons, as well as Behind the Wheel, with Kelley. She taught my daughter the needed driving skills and also helped build my daughters confidence at the same time. I highly recommend Kelley! My other daughter is set to learn driving next year, and Kelley will be our choice! 2020 Driving School is lucky to have her! :)

I got my CDL from 2020 school , Professional & friendly instructors, I got a lot of training hours on the yard & on the road , they have manual and automatic trucks. Strongly recommend this school if willing to get your CDL .

Collin Tucker was absolutely amazing! As a new driver, there are several emotions and concerns that come with such a huge responsibility. Mr. Tucker assuaged all of my fears and made this experience seamless. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the process and explained things step by step. I got my license and I feel so accomplished.

Our 16 y/o daughter had Mr. Mackenzie teaching her. He was very patient, and had a good way of using different teaching methods for different situations. I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Richmond as my instructor, and I cannot recommend him strongly enough. Mr. Richmond was an absolutely incredible instructor, helping me become a proficient and safe driver. I highly recommend you request him as your instructor because of how thorough he was in instructing me and the other students in my class. The reason I took off a star had nothing to do with Mr. Richmond, but was because of the condition of the student driving car 2020 provided. The car desperately needed an alignment, and severely wobbled when traveling above 50 mph to the point where it impacted my driving ability. The cars breaks also were not completely functional; whenever you would press the break, the break would stay compressed for up to thirty seconds. I even tried hooking my foot underneath the break pedal to get it to come back up to no avail. Even when I started accelerating the break stayed stuck down, making it so that the car would not move and I would be stuck. Overall, Mr. Richmond was a fantastic instructor but 2020s car should have been in much better condition.

She is very patient and always made sure I understood everything she explained. I had such a positive experience with Kelley and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an instructor.

MacKenzie did a great job teaching my daughter to drive in a relaxed tone and when discussing the events / lesson plan for the day. Overall, he helped to reduce the anxiety of driving by making her confident enough to continue improving on minor aspects of driving and control of the car safely when the surrounding environment is not ideal. As a parent sometimes it isnt easy to go over every formal detail because there are informal rules to road. Because of what he taught her, i allowed her to explain the rules of the road w/o me having to ruin it and she does have the right fundamental mindset to be on the road. Thanks 2020.

I was able to drive with Mrs. Cathy Zanella, Coach Hatfield, and Collin Tucker. Each of them taught me many things about driving, and helped me tweak the things I wasn’t confident in. Mrs Zanella was so helpful and good communicating with especially as a student. Mr Tucker really helped improve my driving and make me more confident to be a licensed driver. They all made this experience easy, and they would talk the whole ride so it wasn’t awkward or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend these 3 to anyone as their instructors, it was an experience that will always stick with me.

Kelly worked with my son during his driving time back in September of 2020... my review is very late, but she was amazing. I requested her based on the many reviews I read and she did not disappoint. She was always on time and her communication not only with me but with my son was impeccable. My son was very comfortable with her from day one and she was able to show him tips he was not quite familiar with and other ways to improve over the duration her drove with her. We will request her again when our other three children go through driving school! Thank you Kelly for being so great :-)

I absolutely adore this driving school! From the teaching to the people that are there, this may be the best school in Virginia BY FAR! In just 7 short days I was able to achieve getting my license while also learning to drive safely and smoothly with the help of Mohammad Hassan :) He is the BEST!!! Mackenzie was my driving instructor. At first I thought that he was a little strict and thought that I’d never get my license. But, he was hard on me because he wanted me to succeed! I passed my driving test and am now a licensed driver. I couldn’t have done it without 2020 driving school. I will recommend this school to new and old drivers!
