Our four year old son has been attending for almost a year - the change in attentiveness and focus and respect is near immediate, for him AND all the other kids I’ve seen join. Could not recommend Master J more highly. We had attended a different TKD school prior and Master J makes all the difference - he makes it fun for the kids yet just as educational.

We brought our daughter her for a friends birthday party earlier this year. She cried and didnt want to participate. After she saw what the other kids were learning, she wanted to take lessons.. So we signed her up for classes and the first class...she cried again and didnt want to participate.Master J was very supportive not only of her but of our family as well. With the help of Teachers Zack, Bill and Kate she now speaks and acts with confidence. She is happy to now practice in front of large groups where once she was painfully shy. She recently graduated to her green belt and enjoys staying after class to help out the Little Tigers classes.Master J not only teaches the mechanics of taikwando but also instills upon his students to study, do well in school and provides positive home rules for children to live by. My wife and I are very happy with everything J Tiger has done for our daughter.Keep up the great work!

My son has been attending J Tiger Martial Arts Little Tigers class for a few months now. He is learning so much and absolutely LOVES going to classes. The instructors are great and try their best to explain correct stance and technique to small children. They are patient and really encourage team building and community between students. Well...first of all, Master Js credentials take up a WALL. He has a BACHELORS DEGREE in TKD. You notice this stuff after you see how INCREDIBLE it is, which makes you understand WHY. Each session is action-packed, often more like an entertaining show than a class. He is JOCULAR at times, which is perfect for my Jester son. Master J is a good ROLE MODEL for my son in many ways. We found the perfect sport for him, and the PERFECT COACH. He will carry on belt after belt. After class, my son is always very LOVING and WELL-BEHAVED with me and the rest of the evening goes great!As they RUN, JUMP, KICK, CRAWL, PUNCH, SPAR and execute all of the tasks Master J has planned out, they YELL LIKE NATIVE AMERICANS expending their energy into the Universe. It is perfectly planned and executed every single time I see it. The classes are flawless.On testing day, Master J sits at a table like judge/magistrate with a gavel. It is comically formal.Well, that about wraps it up. I always discover such awesome and amazing activities and events to weave into my little person. J Tiger has been an amazing experience both for my son and my family. Master J and all of his staff are awesome. My son has severe ADHD which can make working with him challenging but at J Tiger they have never blinked an eye about it. They have taught him how to control his body and mind in a way we were never able to at home. My 5yo Son has been with J Tiger Martial Arts of Fredericksburg since April 2019. This has been one of the best parenting decisions I’ve made. My son loves it and he works so hard to earn higher belts and feels proud when he accomplishes them. My son focuses more and is respectful since doing Taekwondo. I have 2 children who have been going to classes for over 2 years here. This is such a well rounded program. They learn so many life skills. On top of learning Taekwondo, other skills they learn include respect for themselves and others, self control, discipline, confidence, self defense and the list goes on and on! My children have lots of fun in class while learning. Master J and his instructors are wonderful teachers and work well with all the students in the program to help them achieve their goals. I truly cant speak highly enough of his program! If you are looking for classes, after school care or summer camp, this is the place to go! My kids have also had their birthday parties here and have loved it! We are truly grateful we were recommended by friends to try his program as what my children have gained from his program is far more than any other sport or activity they have participated in previously.

J Tiger is the best Tae Kwon Do facility on the east coast. Traditional Tae Kwon Do is taught daily and Master J is more than just a Tae Kwon do instructor, he truly cares about all of our children! My little nephews have been trained by Master J from an early age. I highly recommend J Tiger Martial Arts! We were first introduced to Tae Kwon Do and Master J when my son was invited to a birthday party at this location. My son has autism and, after this brief introduction, he was hooked! My son kept telling us he wanted to go back. We signed him up for the 6 trial classes, and that was almost 8 months ago! My son has gotten so much out of this program, I cannot begin to fully express it. He has absolutely come out of his shell with confidence, making eye contact, and speaking up. Master J is absolutely incredible! He has such a wonderful way about him, and all of the kids just love him. We just celebrated my son’s own birthday party at J Tiger Martial Arts, and we have heard nothing but compliments and how much fun all of our guests had experiencing Tae Kwon Do and working with Master J. Master Yoo is a wonderful martial arts instructor and practitioner. He taught three of my four kids and me when he was based in Fairfax Station. We were so sad to see him leave, but our loss is Fredericksburgs gain. I hope you all appreciate what a treasure he is. He is a wonderful role model for our kids. I hope his school can expand back toward Prince William and Fairfax County. Id drive a great distance for my kids to learn from him.
