We worked with Sarah for the 8 week Dog Aggression package and Sarah has been so incredible! Extremely knowledgeable and answering all our questions about why we are doing certain commands, activities we can do with Boomer at home, and how we can keep working with him after the program. At his last class he was more calm and engaged than the dog that was brought in to work with Boomer! Thats incredible! Before working with Sarah, Boomer was so anxious and very reactive with other dogs, now we have the tools to keep exposing him to those stressful environments while NOW being able to read his cues and act to shift his mindset before he starts getting anxious or fixated on another dog or person. I seriously cannot recommend Sarah or Off Leash K9 enough!!!!!!

I would give more stars if I could. Brendan and Tiffany help me to have the confidence to help my Mini Aussie be the best he can be. Today with Brendan I got it! Bandit needs me to be boss and in 5 minutes what a change. Understanding dogs and explaining how and why to owners is a winning combination. We have done puppy class, basic obedience, and now tuneup on things I need help with. This is the best place to go!

Our 7 month old puppy was labeled dog aggressive and basically kicked out of puppy class at another training place. We brought Loki here and our trainer is Logan. We are so impressed. Logan explained our dog isnt really dog aggressive. Just needed some training and confidence building .He has shown us what to do and what not to do. We already have a brand new dog after 3 sessions. Logan has worked closely with Loki,my17 year old daughter and myself. The results are amazing. Walks are now fun. We can even take him around other dogs. We have learned so much. We really thought there was no hope. But now we have a strong pack. I highly recommend. The right trainer makes ALL the difference. Glad we didnt listen to the first trainer at that other place who told us he was aggressive. We thought we had to return him to the rescue. SO very glad i called K9 off leash.

Just picked up my dog from the 2-week board and train and quite frankly I’m amazed. Before this training I would not feel comfortable bringing my dog to public places. She would jump on strangers, pull on the leash constantly, and be aggressive towards other dogs. After picking my dog up from the training program and getting up to speed on the commands, she is like a completely new dog. I was impressed with my trainer Tiffany’s extensive knowledge of canine behavior, and she had no problem explaining every question I had! I highly recommended bringing your dog to this training program. I am thankful for the services they have provided and now can bring my dog on many more adventures!

I brought my dog to the route 17 location in Stafford for the basic/advanced training package. I was impressed with the staff and they sold me on e collar training 100%. My dog picked up all the basic commands easily and quickly. I have a shiba and if you are familiar with the breed you know they are challenging. I would not be able to control him in my home or around children without the level and style of training they provided. My trainer was excellent and easy to work with. The problem is that I brought my dog to them for leash and dog aggression. It wasnt until Id paid the $1000 for the basic/advanced package and completed the lessons (their guarantee only covers the first lesson and they dont cover the heel command until lesson 4 so make very sure you understand the guarantee) that they informed me he would need another $2500 board and train training program for aggressive dogs- something they were aware of all along, to the extent that Brandon, from Richmond, on lesson 5 told me my dog was a liability waiting to happen, so this was not news to anyone at the rt 17 location, it was frequently commented on by all their training staff. So bottom line I paid $1000 to have a dog that obeys basic commands very well but who I still cant take anywhere along with the feeling that the goal all along was to get me to fork over more money for board and train which clearly, if not their money maker, is certainly their preferred method of training. If you dont have an agressive dog, this is hands down the absolute best training program around. I cant say enough about how great it is unfortunately, given my predicament, I cant recommend them for aggressive dogs, since at best they didnt recognize that my dog was aggressive and at worst knew it all along and just wanted to get me to pay more for a board and train program.I ended up going to their Richmond office and working with Brandon directly who I cant recommend more highly. So for those of you keeping tabs that was $3500 in training for something that should have been identified and he should have been moved earlier in the first program. Also it should be noted that they had my reviews removed from yelp and Facebook so thats something to consider when youre reading the glowing reviews of this location.Again... Basic training was great!! E collar was a definite hit. The feeling of getting scammed, not so great a feeling.
