I took the Athena Womens Handgun Tactics course and it was awesome!! Im a novice with handguns but was made to feel very comfortable handling one and even gained some confidence by the end of the day. It was nice having an all female class and I enjoyed the open forum where we encouraged to ask questions throughout the day. We even practiced some self defense exercises. The atmosphere was relaxed and informative. I recommend this course and the instructors at Spartancore highly!

I took their Level 1 Knife Combatives class and was thrilled! I’d highly recommend for someone looking for practical skills for everyday self defense! Joe, Matt and Johnny provided a friendly environment at a top notch facility!

I took my first class as a gun owner with SpartanCore Training Group, The Phalanx 1 class. Going in I was worried that the training would be beyond my abilities and that I would have a hard time keeping up. The instructors were awesome, not only did they make it understandable and we’re patient to me being new, they made sure here and there that some basic safety precautions I could have overlooked as a new person were in my mind without having to pull me to the side or separate me from other people in the group who were far more experienced. These are some very knowledgeable, cool dudes who offer a class unlike the common rank and file classes and I will definitely be returning to take a lot more classes. If you’re thinking about taking a class with them, do it, I took so much home and it was worth not only every penny but also every second of my time.

The whole group of men who taught our women’s gun training were incredible. No judgments only helpful feedback and had us improved so much more then when we walked in. Very hands on training

I absolutely love this place. The instructors are more than welcoming and extremely patient. They want to see you succeed. Ive take 3+ classes now and Ive seen my wife going from closing her eyes and missing a target 3ft infront of her to doing mag changes and training for the tactical games.highly recommend from a first time shooter to a high speed shooter.

I did my first SpartanCore training event yesterday (31st July), KOLONOS Tactical Athlete Handgun. To quickly sum it up..... It truly was a very fun, self educational and testing of my own abilities.Ok, lets get a little more in-depth.I myself am a firearms and tactics instructor. But like all good instructors, I know that I can always learn more.From the moment I got there I felt welcomed and a part of there training family. All the instructors; Johnny, Sean, Matt and Nick, where great. They are all very proficient and knowledgeable and very welcoming to all.I would highly recommend doing a training event with SpartanCore. regardless of your firearms experience. The event that I did this past weekend was geared more to the fitness side. But if you are serious about using and/or carrying a firearm (whether for work, causally, CCW, home defense or competing), this event is a great eye opener, especially if you have never trained or shot with an elevated heart rate.Again thank you to SpartanCore. I had a great day of training. and i look forward to training more with you all.

Awesome! I took the kolonos carbine class. It started with zeroing my weapon then straight into drills. High intensity functional exercises to increase your heart rate, breathing, and muscle fatigue at your fitness level all the while practicing safe proper weapon manipulation.. focus.. steady.. 2 to the body 1 to the head.. and the steel targets behind a hostage. Standing, kneeling, prone positions from 10-100 yards.. behind barriers and vehicles.. transitioning from rifle to pistol. With an awesome group of people! Definitely taking more classes!

Absolutely great people and great training they offer, they adjust to everyone skill level in order to have them succeed at their own pace. Even for those who have little experience it is a great place to learn safety and advance your skills!

Amazing time ! The combination of fitness and tactical training was a great experience especially for me , being brand new to this type of thing . Definitely signing up to do another one in the future.

I recently took my first class with Spartan core. The instructors and hosts were professional, courteous and incredibly knowledgeable. The class consisted of 16 students and each of us received both group and individual instruction. The overall skill level ranged from beginner to advanced and had something for everyone. I am completely satisfied with what I learned during the 3 days class both CET1, HET1. Matt and Johnny fed us well. They provide awesome lunches. I will definitely be attending more classes with Spartan core and highly recommend Spartan core to not only new shooters but seasoned shooters as well.

Worked with Spartan Core on handgun competency and tactics. Johnny knows so much and could tell us exactly what we were doing wrong and how to fix it. Workouts were designed perfectly to show students how they would act under a high stress situation and how to train to improve focus and combat effectiveness. Great course!

These guys were awesome and were great instructors. These dudes knew what they were doing and weren’t cocky about it either. Definitely recommend it and plan on taking my kids to some of their classes.

Through many years in the industry of weapons and demolition training, working personally with Johnny and Spartan Core Industries has been nothing short of amazing. Simple and straight to the point on scheduling with him and his team for a consultation to began the preparations of training the many men and woman I lead.
