My driving instructor was Steve and he was an absolutely wonderful teacher. He was always punctual for our lessons, helpful, patient, calm and all in all a really great guy. I needed a bit more training than the average learner, having moved here from the UK and having little driving practice for close to 20 years. But Steve always made me feel comfortable driving and helped me to build my confidence and pass my driving test! The Drive America team became like a family to me and I recommend them to anyone who is looking to learn to drive! Thanks you to all at Drive America for helping me to pass!

My driving instructor name Steve, taught me lots of knowledge on the road to get me my driver’s license. He is very patient, helpful, and a great person himself. He helped me build up confidence while driving and made everything comfortable for me to drive safely. Without his help and time, I wouldn’t have gotten my drivers license. My instructor was Serric and he was very patient and was a great teacher. The overall experience was great and I passed my driving test on the first try. He was great at explaining and helping me with things that I was overall nervous about. Today I Called Drive America to confirm my daughters appointment for Tuesday, June 15 and was told sorry we have to cancel because our instructor just quit on us. The sad thing is I was not notified that there was a change and they are not willing to accommodate my daughter because they have no one. I was also told that no one else could be moved around because they had appointments three weeks ago. I informed Nancy that my daughter had an appointment two months ago and should be accommodated, but I was told there’s nothing we can do.

Jose is the most remarkable driver teacher Ive ever had! He was very helpful and reassuring, taught me important details in driving that Ive never been shown before, and was very charming and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel from the first moment onward. Seriously, I cannot sing enough praise for his guidance in how to park in a crowded parking lot and how to use your mirrors to the maximum advantage. I appreciate it so much and HIGHLY recommend taking lessons from this amazing teacher and establishment.

Serric was a wonderful teacher, very patient, relaxed, friendly and encouraging. My son appreciated his ability to explain things clearly. I was glad I got to ride along for the lessons, because I learned a few things myself!

Driving instructor was nice and helped me become more confident behind the wheel. I honestly just wished the lessons were more organized and an idea of what was being covered that day was discussed. Another issue I found was the amount of time remaining of my lesson, the two hours I expected was not entirely met.

When learning to drive through Drive America I found that Steve was the best fit for me. Steve Is extremely patient, kind, and understanding when it came to my crazy and apologetic personality. Steve always shows up early, on time and always greets with a friendly hello, hows your day. Steve always asked and made sure I felt comfortable before driving on the road as well as reassuring me of how good I was doing and always gave me the best advice. This is a great driving school Ben was my teacher and driving instructor and he is the best he was calm when driving and told me what to do and exactly how to do it. We lost got hit by a RV that was coming into our lane and he stayed 100% calm and helped me get out of the situation. The trainer was good. But their office manager is very rude and not accommodating at all.

The training itself was fine but the final lesson was cut short by at least 20 minutes. My daughter sent me a text at 3:39 stating she was sitting in the waiting room and her lesson was over so I could come pick her up. So her actual lesson had to have finished around 3:35 (best case scenario). When asked why it ended so soon the instructor said she picked her up 10 minutes early which was not the case as I was worried I was going to be late and pulled in 5 minutes til 2. Regardless, the ultimate objective was to get the certificate and that was accomplished.

Steve did a great job working with our son. He was patient and provided great, applicable instruction. Pass on the first try.

My driver ed trainer was Steve Lor! I did 6 full hours of training & utilized the company vehicle that required a fee since I wasnt comfortable using a big truck that belonged to my mother. My first test was 23 May 2019 & was initially sent home due to not possessing my vision referral. I was afraid that I had to pay an additional $110 to use the company car for my returning test but Im grateful it was not needed since Steve had spoken to upper management & had the fee waived!!!! He took his time to transport me twice to the DMV! My test was early in the morning and he had to arrive to work early on his personal choice which he could have completely declined.I took the test on 11 June 2019 on my birthday & I passed with ZERO mistakes & a perfect score! I followed every instruction that Steve taught me & remained calm, cool, & collective because of his continual reminders of the traffic laws.Per his experience, he has been employed for around ~17 years and Im one of 4 students that received a perfect score all thanks to his instruction.Steve makes the whole experience enjoyable... he keeps the lessons very comfortable with conversation & makes sure youre completely knowledgeable about what to do!10/10 would recommend to have Steve as your instructor! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

After doing extensive research for classroom and on-line traffic schools, I found that unequivocally, Drive America is by far the best traffic school anywhere. The website provided clear and concise information (plus chat) about the classes and schedules. I called with questions, and spoke to a LIVE person, Nancy. My instructor was Jose Garza. He was great. While driving he calmly directed me and made sure I knew everything. I passed my drivers test on the first try with only 7 points deducted. I highly recommend Drive America. The staff is very friendly and experienced.

Bob was an absolutely superb instructor. He was very calm throughout my progression and was just an absolute joy to be around. I enjoyed his form of teaching almost as much as his stories. In all seriousness, he is a great instructor and I honestly wouldnt have wanted anyone else to be the one to teach me the ropes.

Drive America was great! i had a great time with the drivers ed class i had. Steve was a great drivers ed teacher and instructor. I hope a bunch of my friends have him as a instructor. I also hope to meet Steve again one day.

The class was easy but thorough. It went fine and I would use them again. These programmed traffic tickets are a real pain.

Lousy instructors and rip off service. Drive America came out to help my son with training for his drivers license and they ended the scheduled appointment earlier than promised. I paid for the 2-hour session and they ended it at 1 hour and 20 minutes. My son told me that his instructor was impatient with him and I ended up training him myself. I regret choosing Drive America.

First, the class was straight forward got to the point taught me a lot of things I havent learned yet, my teacher was Ben he makes the class fun and productive...My instructor was Bob, he made the behind the wheel lessons fun, funny, and its was also very helpful he teaches u how to park the easy way perpendicular and parallel too. The turning is very easy now and kind of makes the car ride more smother. I also like how he takes us out to te foothills and to other places we would actually go to.This is a school I would recommend for people to go to.

Poor customer service. Had an appointment for my daughter today. Was called an hour before and told I needed to pay with cash or money order. Wasnt told that before hand!

The company itself is good but the only issue I have is with a driver instructor for my brother. The instructors name is Rod, hes a old buffoon who literally ignored any requests and brought home my brother 20 mins early for each session! I can literally say Ive never met anyone so rude, and broke, but yet acts as if hes a rich mofo who can live w/out our good money! If any of you guys scheduled Drive America for drivers training, TRY to AVOID Rod at all costs!

My teacher Steve was an awesome teacher, hes really funny, cool, and I love his way of teaching. Youll pass every final (as long as you take good notes) Im starting drivers training in 4 days and Im really nervous, but I hope it goes well.

Im a foreign student, i dont have any experience in driving, it took me 33 long years to decide that i want to learn how to drive =) were new here in fresno so i pick my driving school & instructor based on the review, like what the reviews said pick BOB hes the best so i requested for him and yes he is very very good instructor, he has alot of patience and he teach me a lot of technique in driving, hes never late and we never go home earlier than the time alloted. He is very calm and very good in teaching, he will never make you feel nervous or stupid. I strongly recommend BOB he will help you the best that he can =)

I think ive learned alot and i think i can do the test now this is a great school for people who are just starting and wanting to learn how to drive and just to let people know to actually learn and not be on cellphones but other than that this is a great driving school to learn from

It is the most lousy place to let our young people attend this place since they are not organized ... they make double appointments at the same time ... it took more than 2 months to answer an email ... and more than 3 weeks without giving us a driving class schedule as well as being able to get 1 class over 1 week ... lousy school and very bad service. I have 3 more future students guaranteed that they will not be of my choice much less than my recommendation
