I would not recommend this program to anyone who doesn’t learn fast paced ,at times their is a lot of homework due in a short period of time and this school doesn’t seem to care about their students they just care about their money. Your basically learning on your own majority of the time.The instructor I had did not help at all educating wise ,belittle wise yes .

The director is the problem ! That’s who she spoke to and he doesn’t seem to care she spoke to him . New student or not no one deserves to be belittled or feel like that . The director is just way to strict and needs to educate and learn to be more compassionate when students are going to him in confidence.

Honestly one of the BEST EMT courses I have ever taken. Robert doesn’t present information on slides and hopes that you learn it. He is interactive and focuses on making sure YOU know the material! I would definitely recommend Alert Medical to anyone looking to peruse a career in the EMS field or just looking for recertification. Overall amazing experience!

The staff are genuinely invested in trying to help everyone succeed. Charles and Robert were amazing instructors and really cared about helping us to become the best EMTs we could be and giving us the most thorough education possible. They were always willing to stop and help explain something if you just didnt quite understand it.

I took the EMT class offered through Alert Medical Training and couldn’t be happier that I did. I feel confident in the knowledge that I gained as well as the bonds I made with other students and the instructors there. They helped me pass my NREMT on my first try and continue to support me through registering with the county and finding a job. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to become an EMT or firefighter.

This was a great experience for me. Robert and Charles are great, knowledgeable instructors that really care about the students. This program makes you feel like family and has a great atmosphere. Robert and Charles make themselves available any time and are there to help you along the process. I finished the EMT class in December 2017 and have an interview with a local ambulance company coming up. Robert has been there helping me out with any question I have even after I was done with the program.My advice to anyone thinking about becoming an EMT is to get on it. Talk to the staff at alert and they will guide you on your path.

I have been an EMT-B for about 4 years and it came time for me to renew my skills again, I searched google and found Alert Medical. The reviews were great and when I called to schedule a time for my skills verification the staff was warm and personable on the phone. When I came in for my skills I was greeted warmly by the staff at the front desk. They tell you to set aside about 2 hours of time for the skill verification, they were accurate with the amount of time it would take. My instructor was Robert Wankel. Mr. Wankel was very personable and help me complete my skills verification within the 2 hours. Mr. Wankel also brought in a lot of his own knowledge and experience when it came to the different skills we were doing. If you need your EMT-B/1 skills verification or any continuing education check these guys out. Time and money well spent!

Charles and Robert are great teachers! I’ve taken the EMT course before years ago somewhere else and it was nothing compared to Alert Medical. The teachers at Alert actually care about their students and are always available to help.

Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and skilled teachers. They invest into you to give you the best possible chance to pass National Registry the first time, which saves you time and money.

If you are looking to get your EMT certification, this school is the place to be. The course is very well laid out and they will work with you to maximize your potential based on your learning style. Robert is an awesome instructor and became a true friend throughout the 4 months I was in the course. I started the program knowing very little about EMS and was blown away by how much I learned by the time graduation came around. I cant say enough good things about AMT.

Took the EMT course back in 2011 and it was awesome. I was very prepared when I got a job in the field. Now when I get ride alongs from their program they are professional and competent. I highly recommend the EMT program.

Awesome place! Hands down the best experience I have ever had. I wish I new about this place earlier in my career. Robert an instructor there has awesome teaching skills. He breaks down what you are doing, why you are doing the skill at hand. If you want to enter the ems field, this is a great solid foundation to build your career on. I wish they did pals, phtls, acls or anything else.

Make sure you read the fine print and hope things do not change. This is one of those companies that will not refund you money once they book you no matter what. Not user friendly. There is lots of companies that do CPR training, go to a company that cares about their customers.

Almost every medical professional is mandated to take a BLS CPR course for Healthcare Workers every two years. I have taken many CPR courses in the past but I think that I enjoyed this class more than the rest of them. There was still the use of standard American Heart Association videos put these were complemented by real life situations. My focus was kept on the education and I learned more with this class than I have with any other course. Great job!

Amazing school that teaches more than just the basics of medicine. The time I was there was amazing and I learned so much so well. i passed my NRemt exam on my first try. I will reccomend this school to everyone I know!

I recently went through the program it was a great emt program very professional. Your instructors genuinely care about you and want to do everything they can to ensure you graduate and have a successful career due to the level of instruction and the ability this school gives you to study in a way that works for you (audiobooks written books interactive Video lectures and tests that you can formate to areas you need help with)
