I made excellent friends there. The teachers are very nice besides 2. Johanna and Davi. Davi had called my sisters work trash, Assigned more work when she found out that they were having fun with it, and only got mad at Black people. Someone was having trouble in class and Davi tried to persuade them into taking pills. Johanna was nice most of the time but once I missed the line for a play rehearsal, and Miss Johanna grabbed me by the collar of my shirt clawing me with her nails, and dragging me into line. Aside from that, I had a great experience there I made lifelong friends including my best friend.

Went there when I was a kid, learned a lot about nature, birds especially, it was mainly in the woods, so we would put on bug spray to keep the mosquitoes away. Learning was good. Pretty strict on most things students would do, send them straight to the office, which was about 15 students from each classroom. Had very fun times playing in the school plays, and going on field trips. Teachers are like parents, in a way. We didnt use lockers, or backpacks, they have cubbies to put your school bag in it - essentially a purple canvas bag to put all your folders in it. I enjoyed being there. Very good place, make great friends. Never seen a fight there from my experience. Loved to catch lizards and snakes around the trees, even when the teacher would tell me not too - I told them that I knew what I was doing and they did not have to be afraid, but they still told be to put them away... There has only been one bad incident, our drama teacher, Mr.Scott got so mad a student for being disrespectful that he threw a chair at them. I wasnt there when it happened but he got fired after that. All the other teachers a very nice though.Overall, I had a very fun experience growing up there, I do not know what the teachers are like now, most likely the same, but in different spots in the small school - 88 students when I was there. A very wonderful experience from nature there, including the all the learning.

It sucks there. I am a former student who was there K-5. By my fifth grade year all of best teachers quit because of bad administration and favoritism to certain staff and students. The teachers who quit got replaced with others who were abusive and toxic. Dont send your kid there.

I think ELAA is a wonderful environment for my child. The staff is great. The children are learning a lot. I have been a part of ELAA since 2007 and I continue to be a part of the family because this school is a great school where kids can express themselves in Art, Music, Theatre and dance.

This school was terrible for my granddaughter and the entire 5th grade class of 2015. There was abuse that the police were called in for. The result was only more nepotism that is out of control allowing the staff and principal to act illegally and it has happened several times in the past with other students. Please do your research before sending your child to this school. In the end the damage they did was not worth the goodness the good teachers provided....and most of them quit this year after the latest atrocities against innocent children. The mediation through the Heart Phoenix group was more than disappointing, they just allowed the abuse and blamed the children. They have all been permanently scarred by their experience there
