As a veteran looking for a new career, I quickly realized that certifications would greatly increase the number of jobs I would be competitive for. After learning about New Horizons through my VA clinic, I called to ask about their programs. I was glad to hear that my GI Bill would cover the cost of the training and even the cost of the certification exams. New Horizons was even able to help me with the cost of gas every week. The level of expertise and training of their instructors was beyond what I expected. I was also apprehensive about taking all of the courses through an online classroom, but every instructor interacted with the students as much as they could. They answered any questions the students had and did not move too fast through any of the subject matter. They were also willing to provide any additional information and would take their own time to do so if needed. I have also been impressed by the staff at New Horizons. Any time I had a question or needed any assistance, they were quick to respond with an answer. I am very pleased with my experience with New Horizons, and would recommend them to anyone who needs to obtain an IT certification.

First, I never give a 5 star review. This is because everything and everyone has room for improvement. With that being said; New Horizons in Gainesville is an excellent place for those looking to make the transition into the IT field. They offer a clean, friendly distance learning classroom environment in which to participate in lectures and conduct online labs. Everyone here is very friendly, and always willing to help you with whatever problems you may have. I personally had to take a couple of days off to attend Reserve drills, and they were very understanding and accommodating. I completed 9 weeks worth of IT courses, and feel more confident seeking certifications than I ever did after 3 years of college.

I found the staff to be very helpful and engaging throughout the entire process. Over the time it took me to complete the courses for my certifications I noticed that not only did the staff take a genuine interest in my course progression, but also me on a personal level. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for IT certifications.

One of their recruiters took my group and I to a club. He invited his family also and charges their drinks on my credit card. I didnt get test for every course I took, like I was told. For the price I paid I could have gone to a community college for these certifications and at least have credit for taking the classes. They even lied to one of the guy in my group saying he would recive a gas card for travel, let’s just say he nearly had to beg for the card. I dont feel it was worth all the G.I. I paid and though the recruiter who used my card was fired, the energy was never the same. I feel like some of the staff needs diversity training and I would never recommend this site for any soldier.

I have attend several training sessions with New Horizons. The Instructors have always been knowledgeable and professional. The training looks at not only the test prep but also real world scenarios that you can take back and implement in your environment the same day. I have come away from the training a better engineer.

My experience at New Horizons Learning Center was wonderful. I came in with no technical background and now leaving with the knowledge to pass the exams with the vouchers that are provide for you for the CompTia A+, Network+, and to be MCSA in Windows 10 and Sever 12.It is a very fast pace so you have to be ready to put the work in to study they give you all the resources to accomplish that. The staff is great, and instructors are very knowledgeable

Terrible Exam experience at their new facility. Not only is there people in the lobby getting coffee and LOUDLY talking. There is no sound proofing that exists inside the room. You clearly hear ALL of the music and conversation inside your testing room. If you are someone that need to concentrate then do NOT select this testing center. There is also serious lack of response from management. I gave over 25 days for their team to respond and no one has even returned an email. There is also security concerns, because if there is a class talking about materials in which someone is testing on, it can be clearly heard inside the room.My recommendation is to take your testing needs to another facility.

This is a scam! Theyre only after peoples military benefits. A friend of mine who used to work there told me they even register employees for classes so they can stay in good standing with the VA office! Horrible

I havent been to the Gainsvielle location but have had the chance to work with two people from there. Ms. Clurissa King and Ms. Connie Moore. Both individuals have big hearts and are willing to do what they can. To help students on their IT certifications journey.

I love it. Great training and great environment. Come with your game face, leave with a happier game face.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! 1 star is too many for these jokers. They are completely a ripoff!

Save your money, go elsewhere. They take your money and run with their high pressure sales and promises. Never returning calls and emails, instructors late or not showing up to private sessions, horrid office turnover rate, Testing rooms right by their loud cafe area where people gather, instructors reading straight from the book...should I go on?!?? A literal joke of a school. Soooo regretful.
