One of those off-the-beaten path gems. The folks working there know their stuff, and they have a nice little collection of awesome gear. Go in, talk to em, buy something if you can. Great little shop

Mike and Tom are really helpful! I was able to learn a lot about the guitar and they were a pleasure to hang out with.

This place is SPECIAL! I visited for my first time recently and really enjoyed my time there. The owners were about the most knowledgeable folks Ive ever talked to....not just instruments but music history of ALL genres.

Took my shabby, heirloom mandolin to these guys to get put back together and they did an incredible job--without charging an arm and a leg. I could not be happier with their work and will be taking all of my fretted instruments to them from now on.

Beautiful selection of instruments and amplifiers. Its such a warm, friendly comfortable place. I wish they served beer and snacks because Id probably stay there all day. This is a store that pros will go to but that beginning musicians would feel totally welcomed. A+++

What a beautiful guitar/music shop. They have a wonderful collection of used guitars, and can easily pull one down and test it out. Friendly, helpful staff. They also have a setup of Ancient Rhythms custom drums, which are truly works of art. Gainesville is lucky to have such a wonderful music store.

Amazing selection of modern and vintage stringed instruments. Guitars(electric and acoustic), basses, mandolins, banjos, etc.. you name it, they have it. I have been going to lessons for the last 6 months and have progressed to a level I never could have achieved on my own. To top all that off, the group of folks working at the shop are great, down-to-earth folks that you want to do business with.

Went in looking for a used guitar amp and came away with just what I needed at a great price. Customer service just doesnt get any better than nice people given honest advice on gear. B-Side will forever be my first stop music store.

The combined knowledge and experience of Mike Boulware and Tom Holtz is enormous, so they can easily handle virtually any guitar-related question or topic. Also, they are very fair and decent people. I would not even consider dealing with anyone else.
