Please don’t send your children here. It is not a safe place. I asked questions diligently before sending my kid such as safety, like doors being locked to outside, safe sleep which Becky said the right answers but were just lies which I found out day 1. I had zero updates the first day my child was there for six hours and after calling three times. It was very scary. Her forms from the end of the day about diaper changes, mood, and feedings were never fully filled out. My child had 3 different teachers in 2 days. She was screaming when I picked her up the second day. We didn’t take her back for a third day. There was not a single person in the office either morning when dropping off our child. When we left after two days, they didn’t even try to reach out and ask why. They will take your money and then they don’t care. Please don’t make the mistake I did.

Ive sent all 3 of my children here. Weve been in the infant room, the toddler room, threes, and after school program. The teachers and faculty are all absolutely wonderful. ACA is to childcare facilities what Publix is to grocery stores. The only thing I would suggest to them is that they get a teacher for Bible Heroes. We saw this on the classroom tour and curriculum outline, but they dont seem to have anyone teaching it. We love this place though. Very clean, great parent communication, happy students. A++++++

We absolutely LOVE this facility. Watching over the last year, we could not wait for our son to graduate out of the one year old class into the twos simply because of the teacher we would be getting. Ms. Heather is beyond fantastic. She’s warm, welcoming, and always engaging. The children can feel her love and enthusiasm for them to learn and respond accordingly. My son is always bragging about an art project or something fun they’ve done, he now looks forward to his morning drop offs.My four month old is in the infant class with Ms. JUNE AND MS. Anna. Both of whom are outstanding. Ms. June welcomes my daughter every morning with a smile. She always goes above and beyond to help me feel at ease, and ensures my little girl is very loved, not just cared for, when I’m away. I could go on and on about this staff, but to best sum it up, they’ve become family.

I have an a wonderful experience with this school. I have three children that have attended the school all in different classes. The teachers really care about the children. I can really see how much my children are learning when they tell me all the exciting things they did each day. I definitely would recommend this school.

Administrators/owners treat their staff poorly which results in a high turn over rate and an unstable learning environment for kids. No assessments were ever done to gauge my childs learning and feedback was almost nonexistent when I asked how she was doing. Halfway through the year she hadnt learned anything she didnt know when she started. Then both of her teachers quit without notifying parents.

Do the right thing!!!My Granddaughter has been bit by another child 3 Three times!! . She had foot, hand mouth disease, constantly coming home sick, a dirty diaper that resulted with a blistering diaper rash so badly that she couldn’t walk and would cry if you tried to wipe her. My granddaughter is traumatized and My Daughter feels guilty that she has to go to work and had to bring her baby to this school, she sick over all of this and We are all very upset. Please keep reading,Today was the final straw. She will no longer be going there! I have a video of the bites from last week that is still bruised on her arm and now the other arm is bit and bruised ! This is not fair that the child that bites is still in the school and my daughter has to find a school and pay for another enrollment somewhere else!.They

They are clean, caring, responsible, dependable and they follow my schedule that I want for my children. The baby room is awesome, my children are always happy and love their teachers. All the teachers are well trained and they treat my children like they are theirs. My 3 yr. old learns something new every day and she is always singing new songs to me. They have great programs during the year for the parents. Best daycare Experience my kids have ever had. My kids attended for several years from infant until age 4. My children love the school. I had to relocate to another part of town and my younger kids missed out of spending the rest of their daycare years at ACA. My now 5 year old constantly will ask to be taking back to ACA to visit her old teachers.

My daughter has attended the ACA for 1 year. It was amazing; all the teachers and friends are so friendly and wonderful and the staffs are also very helpful and promptly responding to students and parents. Especially I highly recommend for parents who have some worries about their kids adjustments. They will get used to learning and playing with friends very soon in the ACA like my daughter. ACA is an awesome place as a preschool.

Both kids currently go here and started in the infant room. Infant teachers are great with the babies and there is lots to do. Toddler rooms are just as great and they have lots of different activities to do. I like that they teach sign language to help the little ones communicate before they can talk. ACA values learning while having fun. My eldest has learned so much and enjoys her teachers and friends.

A Childs Academy has been a true blessing to my family. I have 4 kids and all 4 of my children are ACA children. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive to the children and my children are always eager to go and learn and grow. The teachers at ACA really makes you feel like they really do care(and they do) about your children more than just they are another child. I have not met one Teacher at ACA that I felt uncomfortable leaving my children with. I have a great rapport with not only the teachers at ACA but also the owners as well. As busy as they are Kevin and Ms. Becky has always taken time to listen to any issue that concerned me and assured me that it will be taken care of and by the next day it was. It has never been anything major but the fact that they took time out to listen and act accordingly meant the world to me. ACA is more than a daycare or a preschool, ACA is Family. My child left ACA and was highly ready for Kindergarten. Because of Ms. Becky and Kevin hiring only the best teachers to care for everyones children was what made this possible and this alone speaks for their love and compassion about their job and the children whom attend their establishments. Thanks ACA as a whole. Job well done.

My girls attended this day care as a toddlers with Ms. Monica and they did the PK with Ms. Vicky and Ms. Virginia. They had a good experience and learned a lot. I was satisfied with their learning process and overall environment. Previous to PK, I had an uncomfortable situation with an assistance teacher due to miss communication from her side which resulted in upsetting me; but it was solved through a letter of complain. After PK, my girls have been enrolled three times in the summer camp and so far we have had a good experience. The teachers follow the SC schedule, the field trips are appropriate for the children (fun, educative and at the city), the playgrounds are big and the water days are fun.I would like the billing process be different. With cash is OK, but with automatic payments from bank account, the fee is high and it should be a no cost.Overall a good experience.

I wish I could say that I liked the place. After being their client for 4.5 years, I have seen it all. The reason we havent switched places is because of my kids were attached to the teacher. The teaching stuff is wonderful. But the management is horrific. And poor management caused all the problems for this daycare: they mistreat their staff, dont pay them money if they quit etc, the owner has no respect for the people that work for her or for their clients. There were also a lot of issues with communication. One day they cancelled lunches for kids, the next day they canceled naps (4-5 year olds nap on the tables while sitting on the chairs!); the night before my child was supposed to start VPK, they canceled VPK.Ultimately, the reason we quit is because the teachers refused to remove the allergen that made my childs face covered in hives. They never reached out to me to even apologize. The place is overpriced and understaffed. Would not recommend.

Both of my little girls were moved from a poorly run facility to A Childs Academy. I can tell you from experience, A Childs Academy cares for your little one! I was in the military with my first born and have seen my fair share of different DayCares and PreSchools. I can tell you that no one is perfect but I feel my girls are getting the BEST at A Childs Academy. *** Financially, I have never had a problem with the communication between myself and the administrators. If there ever was a problem, the owners were very attentive to my needs.

My child was 3 months when she was going to this day care center. At first I thought they were wonderful. Friendly staff, a positive Atmosphere. The teachers for the Infant room were very nice to me. One day, I went to pick up my child and when I walked in, they had her in a swing with a blanket over her face while the teacher was talking to another parent. Remind you, my child was 3 months old. I brought it to her attention, and she acted like I had lost my mine and told me that she has done this line if work for a very long time. So a week past and one day while I was bathing my child, I saw on her neck a Horrible rash. It was not there the week before. It smelled like sour milk. I would put diaper rash cream on it, but it was not going away! I went and did a surprise visit and they had her nice and comfy in her bed sleeping with no blanket on her face. While I was visiting her, one of the babies was having a hard time sleeping and the teacher got Frustrated with him. Snatched him up his foot got cought in the crib, and she put a blanket over his head and staring to hit him very hard on the back. I could not believe what I was watching! So then I started to talk to the other teacher name Miss June and told her not too worry about feeding her every two hours like my childs doctor order. I told her it was a little too much and wanted her to rest. She looked at me with an attitude and said yes it is Ridiculous to wake her up that much and when she said that, the other girl laugh at me. Like it was some sort of joke. At this point, Im in shock. Miss June was ALWAYS! Rude too me. Every time I ask her about how my child did today, she would say so now you want me to write a report for you? Every dang day that I picked up my child up she would cry and cry. My little one never cried this much. They would write down on her chart that she didnt eat all day long for 10 hrs. That they tried, but she would not eat. But when I fed her there she ate a whole bottle. They were starving my child, they would let milk run down her neck and it caused a nasty rash that took two weeks to heal. Miss June is a rude woman whom I will never have respect for. Since I took my child out of that horrible place, with in one week when I took her out, she went from being under weight, because they didnt feed her there, to a healthy weight. Her doctor said they were not doing there job. Never take your kid there. Rude bunch of women who will lie to you. Im a now stay at home mom with a happy, healthy baby.

This place is Scam. They refuse to disclose the year it was built ; for lead poisoning reasons I wanted to know. Please join me to file a complaint with the State and file a lawsuit with court. I can pay the legal fees. It is not the money but principle. Please carefully check your bank drafts and read the papers you signed. They just over charged me a one year registration fee due in Summer in Winter! Then also charged me 77 dollars extra for full time care and when I complained they sent a check which is not cashable. Good teachers leave. The office lady is nice but has no say on things and refers all complains to the website. What a true shame. Unfortunately most people are too busy to realize they are being overcharged or even if they do too busy to go to small claim court for 70 dollars hear and 100 there. I am making a YouTube video soon with Title aca of gainesville scam

LOVE ACA! We pulled our son out of his previous daycare and moved him to ACA a few months ago and we have been SO HAPPY! His teachers are great, and they actually provide us with information about how his day was (no we did not get this before, which is one of the many reasons we moved him from there). I recommend ACA to everyone, give them a call and schedule a tour. After meeting the staff on my tour I knew I was ready to sign-up, and I did! Thank you for making him and us feel welcome at ACA :)

The WORST daycare my child has attended. The owners are crooks, they will continually ignore you until they say money is owed to them. When a problem occurs with the billing, you are told to enter a ticket into their support online. Which is ignored continually. So you give a 30 day notice to leave..then they try to force you to stay after the 30 day notice is up by changing the last day in their system. You recieved a conformation email from them conforming the last day and are forced to show that to leave and they STILL charge you until the day they changed it to in their system!

Signed up my 4 year old daughter for VPK, and had a positive experience with MISS VICKY (emphasis on her) in the past. First things first, they overbooked and had to create a new class. The teacher for this new class had never taught before (self professed during parent teacher open house). We decided to give her a chance but after the first 8 days one thing was clear - this was not going to be a positive experience for our child. When your child comes home from school and professes multiple days in a row that all we did was play with playdough, you get a little concerned. When you show up with your child multiple times and have to sit in the class with other parents because there is no teacher there to greet the children, you get VERY concerned. We enrolled our daughter in another VPK immediately at that point.Lastly, despite numerous phone calls and messages to the front desk, no one called us about refunding our deposit or simply to ask about why we did what we did. Heck, I dont even know if they even missed my daughter because no one called or emailed to inquire about her.Update: I did get through to someone in the office today (two months later) and I was asked to visit the website and filling out their webform for billing questions. Really? Wow.

My son attended in the past and did not sign up for summer camp, however since my information (banking) was on file and I had simply inquired about summer camp the first week of summer camp they drafted my account. They were not authorized to do so. The billing department is unreachable, only via email which is a joke. The office staff at the center was great and could not be helpful with the billing questions. I finally had to contact my bank and dispute the transaction and was refunded. They contacted me via email immediately in a threatening manner stating if I did not pay the balance that they would send ELC updates that I was not in good standing, which could jeopardize my assistance in daycare. The billing department never followed through with my request to provide confirmation my information was removed from their files, etc. They also have issues applying ELC and billing information correctly. They overcharged me the last time he attended based on the ELC paper and refused to change it. (They were using the wrong ELC form - one for after school not breaks and holidays). Finally this was corrected via email correspondence and I paid my $8.00 balance in cash at the center.During the time that my son attended ACA they were good to him and attentive (teachers) however the billing and office systems/procedures SUCK!!!!! They are very unprofessional with following through and helping parents with issues.I do NOT recommend you give your banking information to this place as they will charge when every and what ever they want.

I’ve never posted a review before, which is horrible since I always read reviews prior to any major purchase. So, I’m posting this review today in hopes of helping any new moms out there in need of great child care for their little ones – especially their newborns.A Child’s Academy(ACA) welcomed us with open arms after we experienced the worst first week of daycare for our first baby. We started our little one at a small school near our house – without going into detail, our son was disenrolled and moved to ACA within the first week. Finding the perfect child care center is the hardest decision a new parent has to make. Turning your little one over to strangers for the majority of the day is unnatural and heart-breaking. The only thing that cures a broken heart is a great teacher and school! We we’re extremely blessed to have found A Child’s Academy, but, I must say, the blessing was truly the infant room teacher, Mrs. June. From the first moment I handed my baby over, I felt comforted in knowing he would be in the hands of Mrs. June. She was very welcoming, with a strong, in-charge personality. The first day I dropped my son off, another baby eating cheerios began to choke as she was checking us in. She immediately ran to the baby and took charge of the situation – rescuing the baby from choking without ever losing control. Though the experience was a bit traumatic for me, I knew she would be the best teacher for my son. I was instantly comforted. My love for Mrs. June continued to grew from that point on. The same day she rescued that little boy from choking, she comforted me as I left my baby for the 2nd time that week. She teared up with me and I could tell she genuinely cared.I always knew she had full control of everything and everyone in her infant room. She never missed a beat. She was kind to parents but never let them distract her from her very important role of running the infant room. She always ensured we were made aware of every event in my young sons “eventful” day – when he ate, when he slept, every bowel movement, etc. We always were informed of what was needed the next day and of his temperament/mood. I never left her room with questions. I learned so much from Mrs. June. Being a new Mom isn’t always easy and Mrs. June shared things with me along the way that were extremely helpful and I will never forget. I don’t think she knows how impactful she was in our lives. I hope she will find this review one day and know home much we loved her and still love her. We loved and trusted her so much that we enrolled our second newborn in her class. Only the best for my little ones and I will always recommend her to any new mom looking for the best care for their infant. Her quiet strength, understanding of what it means to be a new mom, kindness, organization, amazing skills as an infant room teacher, patience, and love are really only a few of her amazing qualities. She’s the best.
