I went to CA from 8th-12th and wouldn’t change it for the world. No school is perfect, but Cornerstone worked hard to equip me educationally and spiritually for life. The teachers and staff are truly wonderful people! I thank God for this part of my life and I recommend this school to Christian families.

I graduated from Cornerstone a few years ago after starting in the 5th grade. I feel the school prepared me well not only academically, but also spiritually and mentally for life after high school. I was taught how to think, not simply regurgitate material. The Worldview, Rhetoric & Debate, and Apologetics classes prepared me to understand different viewpoints, determine what is true, and respectfully defend my position. The teachers, coaches, and staff were like family to me. I knew each of them genuinely cared about me and wanted to help me be successful. I am very grateful I was able to attend Cornerstone and participate in a variety of extracurricular activities. I had an excellent experience and I know being a student at Cornerstone has solidified my faith and had a profound impact on my life.

When I first joined, it was spectacular! I loved it! It was an amazing school back then, but now, everything is messed up. They added 2 hour long classes, the teachers change the homework a bunch, and their schedule always has something wrong with it. Like I said, it was an amazing school, then it went down hill from there.

So when I first put my child in this school we loved it. Loved it. The elementary teachers were fabulous. The curriculum was awesome yet extensive. Your child will learn more here than anywhere for elementary. However, once 6th grade came, the teachers were like a revolving door and not as interested in the kids and parents, as well as communication was lack and poor. The administration seems to not have it together. They lose alot of good families and teachers. They also spend their money poorly in my opinion. For the funds coming in based on tuition rates and amount of students, their resources are poor and its not being spent wisely. There is something wrong. We would have loved to stay at this school based on their God fearing world view, awesome education, and the positive experience we had the first couple of years, but due to the declining circumstances over a period of time without a positive outlook of change, we decided to leave. Leaving was a good decision.

The good part is most of the kids are good kids and most of the teachers are pretty good up until 5th grade. After that the teachers arent all that great. Id rate them good to poor. Christianity is a part of the education which is good.Weve been at this school a long time. Longer than any of the reviewers below, most whom have already left. There is something deeply wrong with the administration and even a few of the teachers. If your kid gets bullied and your child tries to tell them they will blame your kid and by doing so encourage more bullying. And after that it is almost as if they put a target on your kid.If your kid then tries to stick up for himself or herself all the sudden the behavior which is 1/10th as bad as the other kids is treated as a felony. Somehow some way it is always the same story. Good kid does something wrong and the school overreacts. Mean kid does something bad and well he or she must have been triggered so it isnt their fault. And it hasnt just happened to my kids. Ive seen it happen over and over again. But like most people we sort of kept believing in the school because well it wasnt happening to us. But once something does happen where you must meet with administration you will find no help or even an offer to help. They will sort of skoff and blow you off.The school is OK to great up until about fifth grade. After that they start letting in kids that have been kicked out of other schools. Those kids of course have behavior problems for which your child will later on be blamed for triggering these kids no matter how much your kid tries to avoid these kids.We wont be returning to this school after this year. We will become member of the 30% of students that leave the school about every year.
