My son is in 4th grade and he loves the school. He cant stop talking about his 1st grade teacher Ms. ELLIS, she was amazing. She made a difference in my sons life with the care and passion that was shown by someone who cares about her job. My son said she is his favorite teacher he has had so far.

Great school!! My daughter is starting her second year at Polenta. I do not have one bad thing to say about this school.

As a student in 5th grade last year, this is a terrible excuse for a school. They constantly boast to be bully free, but I was bullied constantly last year. Please look at the school before you boast about bully free.

Im in the 8th grade now, and Polenta was an absolutely unacceptable excuse for a school. Its all great and fun from 1st-4th grade, but then in 5th grade things get BAD. I was bullied constantly, despite their rules and when I told my teacher? She moved my seat RIGHT NEXT TO THE BULLY. My mom finally went to the counselor only to say that I was Too nice. I was homeschooled for 2 years after that; to sum it all up? Awful school, embarrassment to Johnston Country School Board.

Cannot believe the situation with the principal and the abused young girl!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Terrible!

I love polenta its great and the best 2nd grade teacher is mrs ellis! My daughter has her! Polentas staff is amazing they actually care about my kids!
