I do not have enough good things to say about this place! All of the staff is incredible. They are so good with the kids and they work very quickly to help resolve any conflict in the most constructive ways. Krista is the director and is so attentive and hands on with everything going on no matter how small.My daughter always has the best time in her classrooms and every Saturday asks me if we are going to day care today then she gets sad when I tell her theyre closed. Id like to give a lot of credit to Ms. BIlli Jo for that. She was my daughters first teacher and she helped her really fall in love with learning and exploring curiosity .The owners are beyond incredible and so involved with everything. They truly care about their staff and the kids. I never feel like my daughter is just another paycheck to them. They take time to get to know parents and families and make you feel so welcome. We have never had a question or concern go unaddressed.My daughter has moved on classrooms and the new teachers are just as great as the last.They have cameras in classrooms that you can check during the day and it makes it just a little easier being away from my daughter. I love seeing her interact with her friends! They send updates throughout the day of things the kids are doing and a summary at the end of each day of what they learned.I cant recommend Kiddie Academy of North Phoenix enough!

Love this place! My son currently attends the infant room, and he absolutely loves it. I love that he’s happy every day when I pick him up. It’s very obvious that all of the teachers love babies and want what is best for each one. The atmosphere in the entire center is always so positive. Whenever I walk through the halls to drop off my son, every person I pass says hello and calls my son by name. Everybody makes us feel so welcome and special.

I had 2 kids go there. It was great! They so many activities including summer camp. They really helped my son walk which was a big help. The owner mike is beyond amazimg. Any issues he fixed right away. My kids started a head start program. Highly recommend!! Thank you. Mr. mike!!!

We have had our 2 kids attending since they were infants, our oldest is 5 now youngest is 2, and it doesnt get any better than here. The kids love attending every single day and learn a lot! The owners are fantastic! You can always go to them with questions and they are always willing to help. Highly recommend.

Our daughter is three and has been going here since she was four months old. She absolutely loves the staff, her teachers and has many friends. It’s a joy for us to take her there because of their unlimited kindness to us and all of the kids. The fact that they integrate STEM within a daycare adds a value that can’t be detailed in words. We look forward to bringing her there as long as we can. They also treat everyone like family and are big into injecting themselves into the community.

I have worked at Kiddie Academy for 6 years and it has been a great place to work.Mike and Rachael are very supportive and caring of the families and staff. Kiddie Academy is such a wonderful place and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a great childcare environment for their kids. The whole building is kept very clean and always so colorful. I wrote my first review of Kiddie Academy 2 years ago when our daughter had been with KA for about 10 months and was in the infant room - I knew then that we had found a daycare gem, a home away from home for our daughter, and staff that felt like family with whom we trusted undoubtedly her care.She recently turned 3 and here I am compelled to write another raving review as we have watched our baby grow into a strong, independent, bright and beautiful little girl who loves school, her teachers and her friends. Through their STEM based curriculum, she explores a variety of topics and life skills and is always excited to share with us her art projects and experiments. I wish I could scream from the mountain tops just how AMAZING this place is - but instead I’ll post to every review platform possible in hopes someone else will find them gem of a place. Our two kids (now two and four) have been going to daycare here for well over a year and we’ve grown to love it more and more throughout time. Between our two kids and as they’re grown, we’ve been in 4 classrooms. Each set of teachers just as amazing as the ones before - Miss Billie Jo, Miss Natalie, Miss Jeanie, Miss Sharon, and many more! The owners, Mike and Rachel, are as equally amazing as their staff. They’ve made so many improvements to the facility since taking ownership and I knows they’ll continue to do so. They’re so accommodating and understanding of any kind of situation and their communication is amazing. Not that I have ever doubt the safety of my children at this facility, but the full access to live video cameras gives me an even added layer of reassurance. I whole heatedly mean it’s when I say you would be making a BIG mistake if you didn’t put your kid(s) here. Take this as a sign - enroll your kiddos now!

After a few hit or miss places in Florida when my family and I moved to Arizona we were nervous about finding a solid daycare for our then 2 year old son. This facility couldnt have been a better choice for us. Zero concerns. Zero worries. Great caring people. You would be hard pressed to find a better place for daycare

My child loves all the fun interactive activities she does in her pre k class! She’s having so much fun making friends and learning all she needs to prepare her for Kindergarten! Her teachers are well educated, personable and very caring! I couldn’t imagine her being anywhere else.

My child attended here since September 2020 until January 2021. I have loved every aspect of this daycare. The owners are very involved and the staff are amazing. I have never had an issue. Communication here is what every parent hopes for. My son loves it here and we are sad to leave. They do so many activities and I love the daily pictures that I get!Edit: After having my son enrolled at two different daycares besides this one I have to say that this is the best daycare that hes ever been to. Well it is pricey its worth every cent I just wish it was closer to where I lived.I have to say that my son had never come home with bites, bruises, scratches, injuries, and at other daycares this seems to be a reoccurring issue. If you are a first-time parent or if this is going to be your childs first daycare I would highly recommend.

My son has been going to Kiddie Academy for a little over two years. The owners and staff have always been there for my son, as well as me. Any concern is always handled with love, care, and a tremendous amount of empathy. The passion they have for consistently growing their curriculum is infectious. On top of the growth they strive for, their delivery in caring and educating my son is always in a beautiful creative way that helps my son thrive. One thing I have personally appreciated is how they took the time to get to know my son and communicated with me how he is progressing, without me having to ask. LOVE THE NEW OWNERSHIP!The new owners are wonderful and have made a great facility, better. They are business oriented and have improved the facility immensely. The staff is much happier and it shows. Not only is it a family business with a national educational program that is used, the owners have strong backgrounds in education and business. A great combination.The teachers are kind and caring. They truly love your children and care for them. Ms Billie Jo, Ms Sharon, and Ms Amber are some of the best teachers weve ever encountered. Ms Shirley runs the front smoothly and knows every kid by first name. We couldnt recommend them enough.Dont let the old negative reviews about past leadership sway you now. Call and talk to Rachel or Mike (owners) and youll see how great they are. Were really happy with the changes theyve made.Weve been at this preschool for over 8 years and dealt with both owners. After interviewing 7 others, we picked Kiddie Academy and would do it again, especially now.

Our son went there for over two years and in that time he really grew both as an individual and educationally. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. Our son was always very well taken care of and I always felt safe leaving him in their care. He is very sad to have to leave to go on to kindergarten but has made some tremendous friends in his time there. I’d recommend anyone looking for learning child care in the north valley to check them out!

I am livid! I took a tour of the facility on a Friday and without even filling out enrollment paperwork I put a down payment of $400 and over the weekend I had decided to change my mind. I called all day Monday to try to get a refund and the director made it clear that the six families they were enrolling were more important then the one family that couldnt afford it. also didnt tell me that the $150 registration fee was non-refundable so when I finally did get through they said that they would just give me the first week back so that puts me out $150 which was stolen. It is now Tuesday and I still dont have my refund so they have stolen $400 from me.

Kiddie Academy is a wonderful place. My 5 year old refers to it as “happy school”. Mike, Miss Shirley, and entire staff have been so wonderful and accommodating with my special needs daughter! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, safe learning space for their child.

If I could give more stars, I would! Kiddie Academy is hands down the absolute BEST place around and I couldnt imagine my little ones going any where else. My 4 year old has special medical needs, so to say I was nervous about putting him in daycare is an understatement. Hes been at Kiddie Academy for 2 years and is now in their pre-k program. He has learned so much and I know he is looked after with care and compassion. The owners, Mike and Rachel, set timers to make sure my son gets his medications while he is there and they let me know every day that he got his pills (talk about amazing). We love it here so much, that when I had a 2nd baby, we knew exactly where we would go. For all you nervous parents, worried about how someone else will look after the bits of your heart, your precious little ones, this is the place to send them. They have cameras in all the rooms so you can peek in at any time to ease that momma heart. Plus, the teachers take pictures throughout the day and send them to your email so you still get to see your beautiful childrens faces when they are gone. Book a tour, sign up, you wont regret it!

My sister and myself have been taking our children there for the past 5 years. The staff has been amazing. Yes theres been changes throughout that time but they seem to keep Finding new amazing staff to take care of my boys! Its because of that I continue to take my boys. My boys love the ladies there.I honestly do not know what I would have done without the support that theyve provided for me personally and for my boys..As well as I do enjoy the new owners! I cannot say enough about this place, in fact, I dont know where to start! They have the most sincere caring owners, directors, and administration I have ever come across. They are here because they love to teach and be around kids. That to me is the most important factor in determining if a child in childcare is going to be happy.The curriculum they have is EXCELLENT and top notch! Kiddie Academy is perfect for children of all ages. From my personal experience, every classroom is a blessing for families and their children grow tremendously in a positive way through learning and playing. The students here love the atmosphere and feel comfortable and are loved right back!Also, Kiddie Academy has a Music & Me program which teaches kids about different instruments, music, and gets them moving (dancing). All the kids who attend love this program!So many great things are happening behind the scenes that help with the development of all ages. You wont find a better environment for your children in the area. Parents receive daily updates on what their children eat, when they nap, and even pictures of them having fun! I cant believe the amount of love, knowledge, and fun activities that children are gifted with at Kiddie Academy!

My son has been going to Kiddie Academy for over a year. We have had nothing but a great experience. They recently changed owners and it was such a seamless transition. The teachers are so caring and the front desk staff and owners are great and always helpful. Judging by the multiple pictures we get from the teachers of my son smiling is all the proof I need that he is happy to be there. Plus, each room has a video camera for the ease of nervous parents. Any time I look at the camera my son is happy and playing.

Calling in to ask for pricing and was informed that they do not give pricing over the phone and you have to schedule an appointment in order to get pricing. Its not that hard to give someone pricing information so if it is way out of a families budget they wont waste time taking time off of work going to your facility to just get a price that some may not be able to afford. Better customer service would be helpful! Ill definitely look elsewhere. Thanks!

I, just like any mother was so torn to bring my 8week old to daycare when I went back to work, but I knew I needed to. So she could learn and develop with others her age. I’m glad I did, she’s now 7months old, she LOVES her teachers, they are so involved with the kids I truly trust them with my baby girl 100%. They are attentive to your child’s needs and yours as well. The directors are extremely friendly and always smiling. It’s a great place to walk into when you have to leave your child in someone else’s care and when I walk out I can honestly say I have no worries at all. The place is very clean, especially the infant room, the kitchen is always making that whole place smell AMAZING lol, the work with you for anything, And they have a dual password entry code each parent has to enter to get into the building, double plus you get your child’s daily report emailed to you daily so you know how many times they ate, went to the bathroom and when they took their naps. It really is an awesome place!

Teachers do a great job engaging my 2 year old with developmentally appropriate activities each day. They get to know each childs likes and dislikes and tell me about them when I pick him up each day. (ie. He really likes the play dough but did not like when he got paint on his hands)The new owners (as of July) have big shoes to fill but so far they have been present and very open to answering any questions I have!

I see the owner responded to some reviews from teachers they have lost. They may say they let them go, but as a parent who gave this facility nearly three years with my two daughters, I say they lost these teachers. The teachers that were there when my children attended are the only reason we lasted as long as we did. The owner refers to standards as their only arguement. Well I have standards too. My standards include calling a parent right away after their 3 year old is stung by a bee. A three year old who the facility had been made aware more than once that this child had been seen by pediatric allergy specialist for reactions to multiple environmental factors. Then referring to it as big bite. These owners can use whatever standards they want to hide behind the issues they have created with their pompous attitudes, but this situation is definitely not in my standards. I appreciate all the love the teachers my kids had that loved and cared for them. I am glad my girls had this time with these great individuals. They know who they are and they are better off wherever they end up. The owners need to look within to find the real issues.

I have known the owners of Kiddie Academy for 15 years. The Owner was my sons preschool teacher for 2 years. My son is now 18 years old and has always had love and respect for Ms. Leah. Ms Leah and her family always are so welcoming, their love for children and animals is genuine.When My son was going to her, She was going to College a night getting her education degree. She loved being with kids all day and teaching them at the level that they should be.The reviews from former employees that are bad mouthing these business owners are sad. The owners have all documentation and visual proof on file that show those teachers are not fit for the environment they feel your children deserve.This Kiddie Academy is a family owned business that I know, for a fact, puts YOUR childrens needs and safety above everything else.I would recommend this school to any family member or friend that has to go to work and needs a place to take their children, Where they dont have to worry about them all day long.

I highly recommend this Kiddie Academy for your children. I have know this owner for over 20yrs when she used to watch my kids. They learned so much from her and love her like family!! The owners give their heart and soul into caring for children and this business, and hiring employees who will do the same. This isnt just a business to them its teaching, caring, and loving kids like family!

I love this place! I feel so fortunate that my children have been able to attend Kiddie Academy -North Phoenix. I have known Leah for 12+ years. She is amazing! Every child is family to her and her family. She is kind and very caring. The staff has always been amazing with my children. Every time we drive by to this day their faces light up and I hear wonderful stories about all of the staff and teachers. Thank you for always being family! Highly recommend Kiddie Academy!

Parents, please keep your kids from this place. The owner of this establishment has no idea how to run a preschool, has no regard for licensing regulations and is just clueless about what it takes to teach children. As a former teacher there, I witnessed a number of licensing violations...the worst being a child being placed in a chair (or on a cot) in the hallway and left unattended. The definition of area of supervision is the area inside the designed walls of a classroom or playground area! Being placed in the hallway is not only a violation of licensing regulations, it is abused/neglect!! Is this REALLY the kind of place you want your children? Also, teachers are constantly leaving their coworkers out of ratio on a consistent basis for no good reason. Teachers leave classrooms to go to the bathroom, check on their own children or just to talk to teachers in other rooms. Again, this is a licensing violation. I hope this is NOT the kind of place you want to trust with you childrens care.

The previous review is true, they did not give me and tuition pricing over the phone. Many preschools have that information online or will give them over the phone... why would I waste my time scheduling a tour if the price doesnt end up working out for me? And cheryl sounded pretty rude over the phone too..

Flexibility in attendance - not having to pay for an entire week (I enjoy my days off with my daughter and would hate if I felt the need to bring her in just because I was paying for the day)Reasonable tuition rates - are there cheaper daycares? yes. But most lack the rapport, the warm and friendly environment, they dont work with the kids, or provide detailed daily reports, etc.Hands-on learning: teachers engage children. My daughter is in the infant room and they still make sure the little ones are involved in the older kid activities

My child is actually learning things! The activities are different every day and they’re neat ideas. I love that he’s always making art and learning songs. I appreciate that they serve lunch and they have gotten him back into napping. The facility is clean, he enjoys going there, and I love the Angelcam and Tadpoles options! I’m so happy we left our previous school and chose KA.

It has always been human to vent when one disagrees with their dismissal. Of course one would then choose to focus on anything negative they can contrive in an attempt to discredit the establishment that dismissed them. Strange, isnt it, that you dont hear much from individuals that left of their own accord. Im a retired teacher, and had the pleasure of working with, and observing the owners of this business show compassion and the most professional care towards the children in their care. I wouldnt allow disgruntled individuals opinions sway my decision to allow my grandchildren to attend this Kiddie Academy. Come on folks.....set up a tour...ask the really worthwhile questions...and lets get back to focusing on the childrens happiness ....

Kiddie Academy took my kids in as their own. My son was kindly asked to leave a 3 year old program and I sent him to Kiddie academy and he was welcomed with open arms everyday. He was no longer sad or anxious about having to go to school. My other son was ready to go to school everyday and when I was there to pick him up he wanted to stay. They always had fun extras planned for involving academic growth even at the young ages such as, Dr. Suess week, petting zoos, Halloween parades, classroom parties, under the sea themed week. It was so refreshing to leave my children in such a welcoming and family oriented child care establishment! You would be lucky to have your children looked after here. They do truly care about the best interest of YOUR child!

In full disclosure my children have never attended this preschool / child care location. From what I can gather from visiting in the past and my wifes recent visit it appears to be a nice facility. My three star rating is an indication that wed wanted to enroll our infant. I am writing this to let you know if you work in a field with rotating / shift work like medical / first responder / etc. and you need flexible days to bring your child, do not waste your time - look elsewhere.This location is in close proximity to our house. When I called and spoke to them originally they were very pleasant on the phone about describing it and providing some basic pricing info. Id even mentioned my wifes profession and theyd said they should be able to work with the varying schedule and are supportive of such professions - then my wife went to enroll our infant.Observation ONE: the enrollment carries all sorts of upfront fees and deposits - I kid not when I say the application my wife brought home reminded me of a rental application for a house or apartment. Security deposit to pay your last week - payment for this first week - agree to pay half if you take a vacation with your kids - extra $20 / month to access the webcam to check on your child - 2 weeks notice if you un-enroll, etc.Observation TWO: If you are doing less than five days a week - e.g. if you work shift work with varying days off and your child needs to attend on different days they will have the audacity to ask you to sign an agreement making it OK for them to give your childs spot away if someone randomly comes along at a later time wanting to enroll their child five days a week. My jaw about hit the floor when I saw this and I immediately called and cancelled our application.Again, this looks like a nice facility - but the point of bringing your child to a childcare facility is to have a reliable place to bring your child for care - not find out at random some time down the road that your spot was given away because the facility could squeeze out one or two extra days of tuition per week from someone else than they could from you. They maintain that a part time child is taking away a spot from a full time child. I guess if you look at it like that.. They are pretty clearly interested in folks bringing their kids full time, five days a week, done and done. Well be bringing our little one to the same facility we used previously with our twins - a little further away but way more accommodating for varying shift work, and no deposits and rules about vacations and such. Hope this helps save some time if youre in a similar scenario.

It is sad that the ex-employee felt the need to use this forum to express her opinion of this daycare in such an inappropriate way. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why she is no longer employed there. I have known the owners nearly their entire lives. Based on my personal knowledge of them and my professional knowledge (I have owned and operated a Human Resource company for a couple of decades), I can tell you they are absolutely professional and caring. They hold the highest of standards, adhere to state rules and proceedures and their documentation of every policy and proceedure and is flawless. Their top concern is the wellbeing and safety of the children and the staff. There is no bios, there are no favorites, all are treated equally and respectfully and with great kindness.
