Amazing place for your little one to learn discipline and techniques and respect. I highly recommend it. My son has ADHD and the instructors here are very patient and are trained for kids with ADHD. My son has been attending for 3 weeks now and we have already noticed a change. We enjoy the 1on1 with Master Ucelo. I would like to also add that this place is family owned and very friendly. Sarahi has treated like family is always attentive. If you want your little one to learn Karate this is the place. They also offer striking and BJJ for adults which I am excited to sign up for.

UMA is so much more than teaching a class. Both Sarah & Master Abel are dedicated to helping shape the youths and futures of the students who attend class. Many of the Asst instructors were once small children learning the techniques of karate. Speaks volumes to their integrity and dedication of UMA.

I am a black belt at Ucelo Martial Arts and I have been training here for over 9 years. This school has amazing staff/instructors that always puts their students first. Weather it is staying after class to help their students on techniques or simply encouraging them to be a better version of themselves. We LOVE Ucelo! They not only teach martial arts strength and technique for the body, but also values to strengthen the mind. They teach the kids discipline, kindness, work ethic, and so much more. I love how they focus on a different attribute each month. They had the kids sign an anti bully pledge. They do a group hike at the beginning of each year. They have the most awesome Halloween parties. Always respond right away, super friendly, family oriented. I cannot recommend them enough!

My daughter just barely start with this classes and she loves it, she dont want to miss any days but unfortunately we had to make some trips to Cali and she missed 3 days already but ahe was sad. The UMA instructors are very professional will recommend this place to my friends. Thank you..

We moved from California and my son had been in Karate for many years but took a break when we moved out here. He wanted to get back to karate and we found UCELO in Glendale, he went to a private lesson and really liked it. We are so happy we found this place, my son loves going to karate and admires and respects his master Abel. Sarah is always available to help or answer any questions. My son’s goal is to become a black belt and I see that happening with the training and dedication UCELO provides for my him. I recommend UCELO to anyone that asks me about karate lessons.

Great martial arts school! A few years ago we had looked a different martial arts schools. We then came across Ucelo Martial Arts-Glendale. From the moment we walked in, we greeted and really felt like a family oriented school. My family loves being a part of the UMA family. The instructors provide a personal approach when teaching. Great Staff. My child has Anxiety and she is a different person now. UCELO Martial Arts has helped her to control her Anxiety and gave her the confidence to be more social. Highly recommend this martial arts company to all ages! Some times martial arts classes can be intimidating but the UMA family are very welcoming, encourages individuals to never give up and have fun while striving to do their best. Being apart of the Little Tigers, my son enjoys his class and new friends as well as remembers each lesson his Master teaches; which we continue to implement at home. Some of the classes the parents participate with their children making it more interactive and memorable. So happy to have such a great martial arts company in the Glendale community. Great family oriented environment. Positive attitude from instructors and coaches. Kids enjoy coming to their class and always looking forward to it.I enjoy their adult Karate and Kickboxing classes as it keeps me active. They even offer Jujitsu beginner classes for those looking into that field.
