The atmosphere of the classes was very welcoming from the first one. Instructors, Greg and Kent, were as nice as they could be and were very knowledgeable what they were teaching. Greg was kind enough to answer to any silly questions from a novice. Also other students were ready to help newbies any time. I strongly recommend this school to anybody who want to learn self-defense and/or traditional martial arts.

The instructors are really great and create a peaceful learning environment. You get plenty of expert one on one instruction to really help learn the techniques. If you’re at all interested in learning Japanese jujitsu I highly recommend this dojo.

Ive studied at Hakuzan Kia School for the last eight years, and have gained knowledge and experience in traditional Japanese Jujutsu. The classes are low keyed, with non of the hype. The instructors are patient, and take their time to teach the techniques one on one. Well worth the last eight years.

Excellent and professional instruction! I have deeply enjoyed the private classes I have taken under Shihan Reinhart; he possesses a deep mastery of Japanese Jujutsu in both principles and practical application. I would highly recommend this amazing art for anyone, regardless of their martial arts skill level.
