Recording Connection was a great experience for me. I am a big believer in mentorship and through the Recording Connection Music Business Program I was mentored by Doug Boulware. Doug owned an amazing studio in Los Angeles and was running his own publishing company. Going through my lessons with him was perfect because every questions i had or anything i wasnt familiar with, he was able to answer and relate it to real life experiences right then and there at the studio. Forever grateful for this experience and being enrolled with Recording Connection manifested my relationships with major songwriters within the music industry and now working at a major Hybrid company that is a Record Label / Publishing company.

Working in the abstract studio has been a great experience. I am learning every time I’m there and have met a lot of good vibes. Shadowed on a lot of different style sessions which is a big change in the music industry specially seeing live instruments being recorded and not jus beats made on a program. I’m glad to be learning more and more everyday at this studio and I thank the school for the great placement.

Working with Doug Boulware and Alex Solis was the best combo I could ask for. Anything I needed from tips for a big studio session to just making a new online account they would guide you through 100% of the way. Are you guys doing studio sessions for people to come and make music?

I have started to use more finesse with my compression settings as well as chaining my compressors. Zach showed me how to compress and limit my master bus so that I could have a mastering reference as I mix.
