After about one year I will say that the Del Saitos Martial Arts Training Center offers the best possible traditional Karate do training .Soke Del Saito teaches honor, respect discipline for body,mind and spirit for people of all ages and backgrounds. This is offered with strict but good humored coaching. I have made much progress in one year and look forward to years of awesome training.

Del Saito bullied my son. He made fun of him several times in front of a large crowd. And belittled him infront of everybody. Because of life changes and personal problems we could not attend. Our bill was paid up to date .When our lives were in danger and the authorities called me concerned for our safety, and suggested that we leave town. Del Saito still billed me. My children didnt show up there once for a long while and he billed me for the classes anyway. Terrible service and I would not recommended going there! She had no right. And continues to take advantage of us minorities. I called them most recently and , del saito literally laughed in my face. They are greedy people, and cant get enough money. Spread the word. If that wasnt bad enough, he turned me Into collections and I have to pay $3462. He took advantage of a single mother with 4 children to take care of.

Great place to go if you want traditional training. However, after the first free class, you are expected to sign a 2 year contract. This is not a good choice to bring your child unless you know without a doubt that the child will stick with it after a few months. Trainer is willing to work with you on price of classes to get you to sign the contract, but doesnt follow through with what he said if something life-changing happens and can no longer attend. If your looking for your child to just have a little fun, dont have them attend here.

If you want to learn to defend yourself, with Soke you get more than you ask for.. But you gotta put in the time and effort. I come from a background of drunks who walk the streets in my hometown, one of them came to my grandmothers house threatening her with a fishing spear, my blood was boiling but I wasnt confident enough to could take him because I barely put in the time to train. But I know for a fact, Soke is the right person to help anyone reach their potiential, learn defensive tecchniques as well as build confidence when facing a situation like I did. He also likes to share his wisdom towards the end of class, so its not just ALL physical hard work but molding your character, be humble with how much you know. ✨ Id tell everyone to give it a shot! & remember! First class, youre nervous and it may seem intimidating but you gotta learn with the best to become the best ;)

I signed my kids up but couldnt come up with the startup fee due to life changes, I told the receptionist and she offered to put a hold on the account until my financial situation was better. Now I got a bill for $682.00 and they arw not willing to work with me even though my kids have not gone a single time and I never received the gear I was promised for the startup fee! Terrible business ethic!!! Shame on you!

Though I know Shihan Saito by repute alone, Ive been involved in martial arts for 30 years, and his reputation is that he is a true Master of Karate-Do (Way of the Empty-Hand). Karateka (Karate practitioners) who have the real knowledge of true Karate are hard to find. Although the many Ryū (Styles) of Karate spread throughout the world are rooted in deep, firm disciplines, the passage of the System from sensei to sempai (master to senior student wholl continue the lineage) to his/her sempai and so on over centuries of time - particularly outside the isles of Japan and Okinawa - sometimes leads to degrees of diversion from the original Art. Mister Saitos reputation is that he is a true Shihan (Master Expert) of Karate-Do, which makes his school very much worth investigating.

Several years ago I had the honor of meeting Hanshi Del Saito and got to know him as my Teacher and friend. My dojo was under his authority and I received Aloha nui Loa from him.. My father was from Kalihi makai side and we shared many things. There is no finer Sensei than Sensei Del Saito and if you are looking for a real Karate Do teacher who is a Christian, look no further.
