Jim Stickney, I will 1st save you the trouble of letting people know who I am in order to give your personal disregard for my post. I am the owner of the property and Danis father. I rarely reply to these things, however something interesting popped up on a timeline today that deemed attention. These are posts from both yourself and your wife raving about the studio and more so Dani as a stand out teacher and how much your daughter loves her. These were posted shortly before you decided to take a break. I blocked out your daughters picture out of respect. These posts clearly are from yourself & another from your wife with pics & very flattering words thanking Dani for being a great teacher & person. I can publish if you wish. This is not what someone who was miserable & just had to leave would post as these were voluntary posts. Now 4yrs later you are coming out of the woodwork painting a picture of a studio of which is closer to a torture chamber than anything else. Does not really make sense. If this studio is as horrible as you state, my only question is what kind of parents would keep bringing their children back week after week.... unless of course this is all exaggerated lies. Your throwing out reviews is purely your opinion and you have that right, however it is purely that.... your opinion. Differences of opinion is what makes us great as a nation & I would never disregard anyone their right to that. In regards to some of the other bashing you really need to do your homework. Dani did not lose a competition judge license.....because THERE IS NO SUCH THING as a competition judge license unless on an international level. Look it up. I would assume that you talked to a parent of a former student who did not like their childs score from multiple judges. I know that there are 2 families on an all out campaign to ruin the studio purely because they did not get their way. This started last fall when one of them requested a meeting of which demands were made or there would be consequences and several children within the studio were bashed horribly. I was actually at this meeting & we refused to give in to this type of bullying. If everyone only knew what this family said it would be a different situation, but we are not going to stoop to that level. Now the people of which they bashed are called upon as friends to join in on their cause. The reality is that this is only a few. True, some have left the studio, not all on a bad note. After the recent pandemic families have had to rethink priorities including financial, emotional and family togetherness. Dance does not always fit in.The amount of families who have quit is less than 10% and actually Dani has had some families come back after a short break from a year or 2 ago simply because their daughter misses Dani & the studio. Unfortunately we live in a time where social media can allow people to entertain themselves by slamming others. There is nothing anyone can do about this either. Facts can be greatly blown out of proportion, quotes out of context to suit ones needs and similar. Dani has her flaws, the studio is not perfect but this can apply to anyone. The truth is that with everything in life we strive to improve and learn from mistakes. Dani deeply cares for each of her students & this is shown by extra attention given that would not be found in a lot of other places. Although the positive reviews far outweigh the negative, online reviews do not hold the clout as they did in the past due to people using them as an attack vessel or posting false reviews positive and negative. If this studio is not for you that is fine as we all have different opinions & goals. I wish you the best moving forward. I am done & will not reply again. Now you are free to post whatever negative comments & further bashing that you wish for your entertainment.

We love Danailles Dance Academy! We are going into our third year with the studio. This place has truly been a second home for our daughter. The growth we have seen in our daughter has not just been in her dance skills. She has grown and developed into a confident, hard working, and passionate young lady who is able to take feedback positively and improve upon herself. Additionally, Ms. Dani and Ms. Tristin talk about life lessons like bullying, self worth, and positive body image; which are such important topics that our children need to hear about from all different facets. So thankful for this studio!

My granddaughter has been going to this studio For several years now and absolutely loves it!! Miss Dani and Miss Tristin have been absolutely the best to work with every step of the way! This pandemic has been so hard on my girl as well as many children. The video classes were a welcomed part of her day. The sweet surprises and little reminders of how important they are, were a welcomed breath of fresh air throughout this pandemic. We feel so blessed to have found this studio! GLAD TO BE BACK DDA!!

Miss Dani and Miss Tristan, at Danailles Dance Academy are amazing! My daughter is on her 3rd year of dance there and i have seen such a POSITIVE change in her. Her teachers at school even have mentioned her positive change in confidence. We are blessed to have found Miss Dani! You can see the love she shows and gives each and every student and parent. They get individual help on skills, and she doesnt just teach dance moves, she actually teaches life skills to thrive in the future!Everyone there cares a ton!

This studio is set in an old bank by all appearances. It has not been renovated to appear like a dance studio. It is small inside and doesnt feel very warm or welcoming. There was no one at the desk to ask questions. When someone was available to speak with they were not organized, did not have answers to questions and not very friendly. I am guessing they were having a bad day but first impressions are important for obvious reasons. I would recommend if this is the first studio you visit that you consider Barbs center for dance which has been established for some time, is set in what one would expect to be a dance studio and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and identifiable.RE: I find your response interesting and at times presumptuous. I shall refrain from drawing assumptions based on the same. However, I do not bring my grand daughter to a studio, where she should be dancing, to admire or make use of the bright pink/teal bank with refurbished zebra chairs. I am glad you can adorn your walls with accomplishments. I suppose we will have to agree to disagree that the studio still resembles a bank perhaps the former drive through keeps throwing me off. And now for the presumptuous part. The telling character reveal on your behalf. First, I am elderly and in recent years began to learn more about technology and how to use it safely. Because I live a private lifeand keep myself off social media, I have no friends? Is this the same approach you take with your youth? That is really bothersome, not for me, but should be of anyone considering bringing their young impressionable youth to this particular studio. I dont know you maam but clearlyI have been to your studio. It was hard to know who was an employee and who was not. There were very young kids behind the desk not one adult. When I did talk with staff or who I thought was staff they had seemingly been deficient in knowing information about the studio or programs. I appreciate your offer of a tour but it really wont be necessary. One star still stands.

Updating review to respond to Mike below. We left the studio 3 years ago, after 1 year of competitive dance and realizing how much of a terrible person Dani is to the students. Before competition team, Dani was a decent person. It only makes sense that a good portion of her competitive dancers have left the studio, including now 7 this year, some of which were very good friends with her prior to leaving.I wish the rest of the people that left would be willing to post their reviews also so other children wouldnt be subject to the terrible actions of Dani.Terri is the dance studio owners mom, so the review shouldnt count. Brittany is her nieces stepmom, and Amanda is her nieces mom. Stephanies daughter goes to the studio, but you could discount that as the reviews that USED to be on her Facebook page (since deleted since I called her out on a TON of fake reviews raving about her studio from people all over the country) included lies about Dani not yelling at her students (another review indicates the yelling also). The studio has recently lose an additional 6 competitive dancers due to peoples disgust with Dani, and numerous mothers have messaged myself and my wife thanking me for the negative review I had posted. And Tristin is another review that should be discounted as she is/was a dance instructor at the studio. Dani also lost her license to judge competitions due to unfairly judging a former student. For Thanksgiving this year, my family is thankful for another year of not having our child belittled by Dani.

My Granddaughter has been with Miss Dani since the beginning of her studio. I have always been impressed with how much hard work, sweat and tears that Dani has put into the studio. And I need to say I have never seen her show favoritism with her students. All the kids get attention, but there is structure in dance. She teaches her students to work hard, listen to instruction and to keep trying. In my opinion, these are valuable life skills that most kids nowadays lack. Kids need to learn to work hard for what they want in life and learn how to be a good loser when they fail. Then be able to dust themselves off and try again. So WAY TO GO MISS DANI!!

Danailles Dance Academy is the best studio around by far! Miss Dani is college trained and has over 20 years of experience in the dance world! Our girls have been dancing there since she opened and absolutely love it! The studio has a family atmosphere and we have made so many friends there! The girls are not only learning dance in class, they are learning discipline, character and how to be a great teammate! We wouldnt want to dance anywhere else!

The owner, Dani, puts her entire heart and soul into the dance studio. She knows every single dancer by name and puts a personal touch on everything! She creates a warm and welcoming environment in the waiting area for parents and siblings, and she goes above and beyond with the support that she provides for her dancers. What I appreciate most is Dani’s work ethic and her attitude of continuous improvement with her business so that she can best serve the dancers and their families. Our daughter danced first in the rec program and is now joining the competitive program. Dani works dligently with the dancers not only on proper technique, but also responsibility and team work. We look forward to another amazing year at DDA!

Dani teaches these adaptive young kids so much more than structured dance. They learn how to work as a team, learn discipline within the dance world as well as real world skills. These kids learn empathy that they carry into their personal lives. So much more than dance is taught in this atmosphere. Danailles Dance Academy is a family friendly studio that not only teaches your young ones different forms of dance but supports many causes such as raising money for schlorships for families affected by cancer. Miss Dani has installed a homework bench for the students to complete their schoolwork during down time inbetween classes. She cares for every single one of her kids, like they are family. My daughter has flourished in her 8 years of dance with Miss Dani behind her every single step of the way and that can be told by the plaques and trophies decorating the walls. I strongly suggest if you are thinking of enrolling your child in dance to check out Danailles Dance Academy. Stop in and take a tour! Talk to the dance parents and dance kids. Miss Dani has so much talent to offer!! 💃🕺

I have never met such a wonderful, helpful, family oriented dance studio. Miss Dani and Miss Tristan are amazing with these girls. I drive over 80 miles one way 3x a week for my daughter to get the best there is. I pulled her from a different studio and seen her go from the very bottom to competing at nationals her first year. That says alot in my mind. Miss Dani treats these kids like they are her own and always tries to accommodate so everyones needs are met. She has structure and technique with a great educational background. My daughter loves her and loves being part of the family atmosphere. I would highly recommend this studio and miss dani to anyone anyday!!!!!!!!!!

I guess Id start by reading jean gipons review and how danny brouchard replied. Quite telling.1 star is just too much for this dance academyOne lady working there thats a bit of a creep.#1. theres a difference between talking to a kid coaching a kid and then screaming at a kid. I am not okay with the latter and that seems to be Miss dannies technique. Mrs danny told a child if that child didnt perform correctly she could go sit in the corner like a baby. What parent is ok with that?#2. the next odd thing about this studio is as a father I tend to help my daughter prepare for dance get dressed etcetera. the room that I would get her dressed in is maybe 8 by 6 and it would be only her and I. So its not like a privacy issue or anything but for some reason the ownership decided to post a sign on the door that says no men allowed. this sign wasnt there a week ago. and then a lady who claims to work their approaches me and says oh I can help her. My thoughts =Like I dont know you why would I let you, a complete stranger, help my daughter get dressed. unfortunately due to my ex-spouse enrolling my daughter in such an unfortunate Dance Company I have no choice but to continue bringing her here. the ownership tends to get involved in family Dynamics which is completely unnecessary and a bit forward if I might say.Edit: picked my girl up today 2/20 and because she was 5 minutes late because my own car issues, she was told she couldnt participate. They claim to be a family. Way to make one feel excluded.
