We absolutely love it here. The instructors here have become more then just my daughters teachers but have become the positive role models that everyone wishes to have for their kids. When I drop her off I know that not only is my daughter learning new dance steps but she is also making friends, learning self discipline, learning how to be a good team player, and most importantly learning how to be responsible! They say it takes a village to raise a child and I just feel so blessed that my daughter has good role models while she is there 3 days a week😊

Power of dance has done an amazing job of helping my daughter become a better dancer while having the time of her life! She was a little nervous to start a new sport (since she was already a teenager when she switched to dance) but her coaches and teammates were so welcoming that it really helped her through the transition. They are very knowledgeable about various styles of dance, their ballet program is excellent and she is also getting so much more than dance by attending POD. She now couldn’t imagine her life without her POD family and wishes she had switched earlier!

Power of Dance allows young dancers to become well-trained in a variety of styles of dance. Dancers are encouraged to express themselves and challenge themselves to achieve new levels of technique. In addition, POD brings the perfect amount of discipline and energy to motivate all dancers to become better dancers, but also develop a passion for dance. The studio creates a welcoming and enriching environment for dancers of all levels and their families to feel a sense of belonging and purpose at dance class. My daughter will be starting her 8th year with this studio and we both are just as excited as we were when she was 4.

I am always so impressed with POD! The owners and coaches are encouraging, positive, open, honest, and always willing to help. They are great role models and create an environment to learn more than dancing, but also life skills. They create a dance family and are very welcoming to new dancers. The 2019-20 dance season was not what anyone expected with Covid-19 hitting in March. Some days may have felt like a disaster. Zoom was not ideal, but it was offered and some classes free just to keep kids dancing and doing what they love in a time where they needed it. Extending classes into March and June were not ideal, but they kept the hearts of dancers, parents, coaches, and family in mind to keep them working on routines to have a recital and closure to the season. Recital was not ideal as it had lots of restrictions and difficulty with planning and finding a venue, but it was the most amazing recital and meant so much more and they did not give up on all the challenges that came with it. They put their hearts, minds, and souls into their dancers and their performances and their business and it does not go unnoticed.

I love POD ❀️! We have so much fun. They push us so we work as hard as we can! But still makes fun out of it. The dance teachers treat us so nice! In summer camps, we play so many games and learn different dances! I also think it’s really cool they have super seniors, this is for adults to dance at the recital! Because Covid-19 we had online β€œzoom” dance classes so we would keep up for the recital! And they offered free dance classes in the studio before the recital. Before covid-19 happened you would walk in the main doors. Now you find out what studio you are in.. they have the studio letters right on the glass doors! They will have a worker standing outside and they will check your temperature then spray both sides of your hands with hand sanitizer! And after each class they mop with soap and water!!! They offered dance classes live on Instagram! They had daily challenges! β€œFor example, A day of jumps! You would post a video or picture or a jump you can do! And they would re post you on they story”!! They kept it short and sweet! And the dedication of dance durn the pandemic! And keep us together as one big family! This studio is supper clean! I totally recommend this Dance studio!

If there was the ability to give 0 stars, I would. The owners are extremely rude and do not care personally about the children. When you bring little ones with you, they act like they are destroying the studio even when they are well behaved. Absolutely will not go back here ever again. And their loss, because I have 3 girls in dance! Going to Barbs Centre for Dance, as they are amazing with children of all ages and actually show that they care. I now know why they never received Best in the Bay.
