Hairston Middle is a great school. My daughter has awesome teachers and is an A student. However, the children there are as another person stated, very bad. She has witness way to many fights, but they are trying to get the children under control but they can only do so much with these children. The quality of education is great however the environment will depend on your child. My daughter stays to herself so she never had a problem with one.

If I could give this school 0 stars I would. If you have white kids do NOT send them here. This is the most racist school ever. The teachers and other staff will let the other kids put their hands on your kid and do nothing about it and when your kid tries to defend themselves, they get in trouble not the one who caused it. My daughter goes here and she is always harassed and discriminated against. Yeah this school may have some good reviews, but it’s obvious why. I’ve never been a racist person but this school sucks a**

This school is LIT. Ive been here since 6th grade now Im in 8th grade and I love it. yes there are some people who dont always act like they want to learn but for the most part we are a good school. Our athletics are the best and we are and will always be better than Lincoln.

No no no. This school has no control over the kids. As soon as i stepped into the building all i heard was cursing, the kids wouldnt move out of the way so that i could get through to the office. So i turnt around and placed my child some where else. Ive made the best decision. Plus to many young gang members are there. No thanks.

The school is terrible. My son went there and it is unsafe. Academically? The administrators are no good. Run around the issues, and we were never able to be comfortable with our child being there. Thank god our son is done there.....

The environment is absolutely horrible, and the kids there are extremely disrespectful. Although the teachers seem to care about the students, and there are some nice kids. I spent my 6th, 7th, and part of my 8th grade year there, and its all right.

Mann DAT school is not good at all if u do something wrong and its was on a accident they write up immediately and if u get a answer wrong to a question they tell at you and they say hairston is supposed to be a good school some u got the wrong school and this is my first year at hairston and I hate it the teachers dont have communicating skills or respect for the kids they go there and there lunch is horrible and there milk is always spoiled

Ghetto school smart but ghetto

This is a horrible school for any kid its absolutely ghetto all the way down to the teachers my son was involved in a fight and his shoulder was broken and no one called for help an they told my son he was faking when the little boy who broke my son shoulder was involved in another altercation weeks before and it shouldve been prevented my son has metal holding his shoulder in place at no point should a child have to ever go threw the pain my son went threw do not send your children to this school Im going to the school board Monday morning my son couldve died or anything and they suspended my son and told me they wanted him to come in and do school community service with a broke arm its to ghetto he will never go threw this pain ever again,_
