We are very happy with the school / daycare. Our kids feel loved and have learned so much. Many of the employees have been there for more than 20 years... that says a lot about the school!

This center took care of my daughter, now 17, when she was little and is now caring for my son, 2. I went back to them because of how amazing they are with children and how much they care. I would recommend them to ANYONE who cares about their children being taught not just babysat. Preparing children for their next steps in life is something that is treasured and appreciated!!!

Good teachers with a good plan. They have an app which gives me updates about my child, which is very helpful

Love this school! Ms Melissas room for 2 year olds is awesome! She is so sweet and nice. She genuinely cares for all of the kids in her class. So happy to have her as my sons teacher!

Love La Petite! Our son has been attending since 3 months old. Ms. Melissas is great! Love her and the rest of the staff, especially Mrs. B. They make leaving your child at daycare little easier!

My daughter is in the two year old Class and Melissa Harris is Her teacher and i believe she is amazing teacher. I can really tell that she cares about the children and not just my child. My daughter was in the beginning stages of potty training when she got into the class and the fact that they have a little toilet in the class room for the children really helped a lot with her transition. A little toilet in the class room is something that you do not get every where you go so that was a plus for us. My daughter is very excited to go to daycare in the morning. I love the Center as a whole, the staff is very friendly and I think it means a lot when they take the time out to chat with you every now and then. I love the updates and pictures that get throughout my work day that lets me know what my daughter is up to. I would recommend La Petite Academy on Woodruff rd. to anyone who is looking for a friendly staff and great environment for their child(ren).

We have been going to LaPetite for 2 years now and have loved it. We chose this location because the staff is friendly and seemed more like a family then coworkers. We especially love Melissa, his current teacher!

I wouldnt feel comfortable sending my child here. I toured the daycare and the first thing I noticed was that it was not exactly clean. Every single daycare Ive ever been in has a trace amount of sanitation smell.I immediately noticed that staff was on their phones and not monitoring the children. In the smaller kids room, staff still had their shoes on and that there were more children in the room that should have been for one staff member to be there.The classroom my son would possibly go into was at capacity on that day, but according to the staff, there was still room for additional children, which if all children came in on any one day, they would be over their teacher to child ratio. Some children have half weeks or half days, and parents arent required to say which days their child would be coming in. If there are always just two teachers in the room, which they said there were, then by state requirements they wouldnt have enough supervision.Also, the kids werent being properly attended to. The second teacher in the room would pretend not to see one child hitting another, or not change a diaper which someone desperately needed, or not monitor the multiple children going in and out of the bathroom. There were kids running around with huge snotty noses that werent being wiped. I dont mean little, clear lines of snot. No, like sewage coming out their noses and into their mouths. I gagged. Clean that stuff up.

My son loved his time at LPA. The staff there were great and always went above and beyond. I felt so much better leaving him each day with this staff. They have a great curriculum and my son learned a lot here. I would definitely recommend it.

In the beginning the staff was very nice and seemed to be professional and caring. Turns out it was a front. Ann the director is not friendly. She shows no professionalism. Some days when entering the building you may be greeted by her or you may not. Tracy in the infants room over exaggerates everything. I question her credentials and training. It appears she cant handle a crying baby for a period of time. That is what babies do. This is when your skills and training should come into play. As I look back over different situations, I feel like our baby was not properly cared for. I asked about the lack of staff in the infants room and was told the other staff member was on vacation. That was three weeks ago, and there is still only one staffer in the room. . Eight or more infants in a claasroom with only one staff member is unacceptable. Those infants cannot be getting the attention they need for their age.My advise to anyone who is thinking of enrolling their child into this facility, dont do it!! My family learned the hard way!

My child has been going to this child care since she was 3 and she will be turning 8 this December. I recently added a new edition to our family and she is in the infant room. Some of the staff I want to mention are Julia Sanders, Edna Greene, Omeka Wilson, JoAnn McKee, Brittany Arledge, Beate Sullivan, Melissa Hariss, Tracy Brown, Barbra Bailey and Ann Bouvia. These ladies are truly amazing and I appreciate everything you do for my children everyday.

Our son loved it here.
