The first time I came to Xcel I was an up and coming athlete. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive. Since then my experience has always been a strong sense of botherhood and competitiveness. Fabio, his athletes and students are very talented and hard working individuals. They share his passion for Taekwondo and their drive to become the best versions of themselves will only make you a better athlete and help improve your level as an athlete or practitioner. Over the years my experience training, sparring and bonding with the amazing people at Xcel has been priceless. It has helped me become a stronger athlete, build bonds with amazing people and create memories to cherish. I highly recommend this school.

Our son loves going to Taekwondo class at Xcel and talks about it a lot. We see a lot of improvement and progress every time he goes. Mr. T teaches the kids listening skills, perseverance, discipline, confidence, teamwork- all while having fun. 5 stars!

Great activity for our active 4 year old! Mr T commands respect as the kids learn both physical and emotional skills. Our son has become better at following directions, listening, and body awareness, all of which we attribute to class at Xcel. This has been a great physical outlet for our son, and we are so happy we decided to try this! He very much looks forward to class and asks everyday whether it is a Lil Dragons day.

Mr. T runs the best program I have seen for this age range and based on graduation - for all ages! My son soaks in every word at class and not only remembers but abides by it. Healthy snacks, breathing, proper exercise, listen and help others - all messaging that he really takes to heart. And the program itself is beyond anything I could imagine. Highly recommend.

Best decision I have ever made! Started working out at Xcel to improve my posture and my core and 8 weeks later my body has realign itself properly and I feel my core now as I get stronger & stronger! This place is a perfect taekwondo studio, it doesn’t just teach you taekwondo but many skills for the real world. It gives you self confidence and empowers you to make smart decisions. The teaching by Mr.T is great and it has changed my life in a good way. I started here when I was very young and I loved every minute of it. Both of my sons have been students at Xcel since they were 4 years old (now 8 & 10) and love it. They have progressed over the years from Little Dragons to Dragons and aspire to attain their black belts one day. Classes are both fun and educational. Students are taught not only the skills necessary to succeed at AAU sanctioned competitions, but also personal discipline which is essential to succeed in life. Mr. T is a devoted and respected instructor who the boys look up to and are anxious to please. They have also made good friends at Xcel and have advanced through the ranks with many familiar faces. My children just started at xcel and absolutely love it!! The physical activity and professional martial arts instruction is exceptional but the kids are learning so many other skills- discipline, listening, confidence, respect...we’re so happy the kids are here!

My son has been doing personal fitlight training and loves it! He plays soccer as a goalie and has improved so much since he started at Xcel. I can’t say enough about it!

Fabio (aka Mr T) and his team run a great program that paces the kids through various competitive physical exercises, forms, one step self defense (simulated take downs) and sparring for older or accomplished kids, as they work through the requirements to earn new belts. Kids learn respect and build self esteem. Belt ceremonies are great recognition for each child. Highly recommend.

We’ve been taking our son for 1.5 years to Mr. Fabio T’s Xcel Taekwondo class and he has treated our son with so much care and patience. He also treats us with respect, fairness, and kindness. Take Fabio’s personal training. I’ve worked out with him for a couple of years and have never been in better shape. He’ll keep you motivated and give you a good balance of cardio and weight training. Just do it!

Our son saw kids in the old location, in the Hanover Mall, going through their forms two years ago and told his grandmother he wanted to try taekwondo. Now, a few belts in, he’s gained self-confidence and is feeling empowered to teach younger kids what he has learned in class. The instructors are excellent, and fully understand how to work with kids, to get the best out of them. The kids can choose to participate in tournaments or not, and the option is always open to them to take that next step in their sporting lives.Aside from self-defense, the sport teaches discipline, self-control and the aforementioned self-confidence. We’re proud to be an Xcel family.

This place is really fun! Speaking from experience, its a great place to be active for people who dont like most sports. Taekwondo will initially be quite difficult for most, but it is really rewarding to learn new techniques, forms, and kicks. I highly recommend Xcel Taekwondo Center for... well, everyone!

Both of my kids have been in xcel for years, the instructors and all of the families we’ve met in the program are wonderful and we’ve made many great friends through Xcel Taekwondo. It teaches discipline, respect, and good sportsmanship.

We have a second child going through this center, starting with the Little Dragons program. I have nothing but good things to say about Fabio, and his ability to make the kids work hard, learn skills and focus, and somehow make it all so much fun!

Our boys (5 and 9) have been going here since Oct 2019, they love it and learn something new every class, Mr. T is great with the kids!

Our two daughters have been training here for the past three years, and they have been competing on the Junior Competition Team for two years now. They enjoy sparring and competing.Master Takahashi is passionate about the progress and well being of his students.The classes are always very well organized, and the instructors motivate the kids in a fun and energizing way. They work on skills every week, and one can see progress in a short period of time.We love the martial arts program here, and it has exceeded our expectations.
