This gym is a family , they take good care of their students, very knowledgeable instructors. If you’re in the Killeen area you should definitely come check them out. 10/10 oss

I have been going to this gym for a couple of years now never have a problem with the staff always professional

Went there early in the morning and it was not packed at all. Staff was professional and knowledgeable on the materials I wanted to purchace. Definitely going to be there a long time!

I come to this gym when I get the chance. I use to think the “family friendly” thing was just a gimmick until one of their employees physically brought something that I left there to me at my work a couple of nights ago. One of them had called and left a message that I had left it there and I called back later saying I needed it but, could not get it due to me working the graveyard shift that night. The employee that I spoke to said he would hold it for me until I had the chance to come get it and I was surprised when he took the time out of his night (I suppose right after his late night shift) to come and bring it to me. I have never experienced something so incredibly heart warming from a complete stranger and would never of even imagined it with someone so young to even think about doing something like this. This gym is truly family.

Its a smaller gym that is locally owned. Staff is super nice and they do not tolerate other customers harassing each other. Sure i could go to the large box chains locally (and i have) but i do not enjoy my time there as i do at this gym. Its not all instagram models trying to take a pic and your rushing to get out of the picture. Its real folks really working out.

This has been such a refreshing change up from Golds. I love the price I pay for the VIP membership which not only includes my membership and childcare, but I also can tan up to 15 minutes and bring 1 guest with me every day. It is a good bit smaller than golds gym and there are a few machines and equipment that I miss, but it has all of your basic and essential stuff to get a good workout. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful and overall the atmosphere is much more welcoming than where we came from. Thanks for helping me enjoy working out again.

Love the Boot Camp class! Great instructors/trainers! I saw physical results within a month of going 5x/week.Husband and I are PSCing to Fort Bragg and they were awesome when it came to ending my contract. They were unable to prorate my membership so instead they gave me a free pass to keep coming an additional week. Love that I get to workout right up till our move date. Thank you!

Ive had a membership here for years, but only felt compelled to leave a review after working (inadvertently) with Scott. He helped me out with a few machines after a bootcamp he had early in the morning and also gave me some awesome tips on how to work different muscle groups for maximum results! That was super cool of him! We got to talking and I realized his wife runs the spin class (friggin LOVE her!!!)! Everything is clean and professional when I come in, an I love how the people there are always so polite :) THIS is why I choose this gym over a chain, you can tell the folks here really love their jobs.

Cool gym, I went at night wasn’t too crowded. Equipment is good. They have a sauna. They have locker rooms. The classes are cool too. They have cycling and Zumba which is amazing. Stays open 24hrs. Nice gym membership isn’t too much.

Please read! I would urge everyone to avoid this gym like the plague! If I knew how trash of a management this gym had I would never have signed up for a membership! I joined illuminate from when I was a junior in high school and I am now about to graduate college. I’ve been with this gym for a long time and I slowly realized how non caring and unprofessional this gym is. Many of their instructors have left because of issues dealing with management. The gym has been closed for a couple of months now due to the pandemic and no one has sent a single email to me, or suggested a credit or anything instead for 2 months now I have had money taken out of my account for a gym I cannot even go to. I have tried to call the gym, the phone doesn’t work. I have tried to email them from the email provided on their website, and it gives me an error message. I’ve even dmed them on social media. I have exhausted all options. I even went to the location and IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY!!!! They either moved locations or closed down and I did not receive a single notification!! I’m completely done with this gym.

Great, nice and informative staff. Trainers there are very knowledgeable. Owner Hector also has Twin Wolf MMA gym for those looking for more. Free day care for 1st child and low costs for another, no need to pay for child care while you get your fitness in. Spin and other classes are here too.

Great gym with a diverse crowd of gym goers who lift hard and heavy and those that look to maintain or tone. The staff is polite and always willing to help. They are not pushy with their services, and overall its a great gym to work out and the price is reasonable and affordable.

STAY FAR AWAY!!First, this gym is RELOCATING and becoming apart of Twin Wolves in a dangerous part of town and some of the staff will not tell you this until after you sign the membership agreement, so BEWARE! They will make you pay half of the balance still(Ex: $300/12 mo. - $36.81 so $131 to cancel) even if you haven’t gotten the chance to use the gym at all. The business owner is moving locations and changing the name of the gym to completely start over and rid of all the bad reviews and ratings. If an employee tells you something that is wrong and you sign up it is YOUR fault and they will make YOU PAY for their mistakes. If you are a member right now I suggest asking for a copy of your contract just in case they try to pull something. Also, if you go to cancel get a copy of your cancellation form because 9 out of 10 times there will be an employee error and they will end up charging you even after you came in to cancel and were told you were good to go. Some of the employees are good. The female with the long black hair, I think she’s the manager, she’s good but unfortunately the business owner wants to throw all of the dirt and mess on her and she will likely be the one taking care of your issues, not the actual owner. He just doesn’t care about you and won’t even talk to you unless you owe him any kind of money. The evening guy is cool, the one that usually wears a black hat backwards. He always asks me how the Saints are doing (my football team) and he plays 70s and 80s classic rock, unlike the morning/mid day employee who likes to blare rap with the curse words and just stays on his phone. Half the time there isn’t even any music at all. I like the child care lady and the yoga instructor and Heather (spin instructor). I could do without Scott, that’s a whole other issue in itself. He’s dull and just doesn’t care about his job. They need to bring back the new trainer they hired. He is much better, more energetic. I don’t recommend this gym to anyone. It’s always dead inside. If you’re really bored, just catch one of the good employees and they’re likely to just have an hour conversation with you without pushing membership prices at you. If you walk in and AC/DC, Kansas, Zeppelin, or Lynyrd Skynyrd is playing, you’re likely to just end up talking with the dude who works the desk for a while— and it’s a good thing. Eventually he’ll tell you to come back to him when you’re finished your workout or you might catch a conversation while he’s re-racking weights. Him, the female, and the child care lady are the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars. The rest doesn’t even deserve 1. I come in sometimes in the early mornings and whoever they hired, he’s a short male with dirty blond to brown hair and he’s usually there from around midnight to early morning, is just there. He says “hey” or “morning” but for some reason it’s almost like he’s being forced to say it and isn’t happy about it. His cleaning can be better as well.My advice to the owner? Take better care of your employees and your business before your business fails completely. I bet these folks deal with angry members and clean up after everyone who works out for hours on end just to make minimum wage. The childcare room looks like a broom closet with toys from 1953. The machines and tanning bed have been broken for months with no desire from the business owner to fix them. I don’t know what the owner uses for music but it’s on and off some days. The only time I prefer it off is when the rap with the curse words is playing. Don’t bother asking the employees to change the t.v channels— the remotes don’t work. Oh, and I’ve seen the owner myself. He’ll bring supplies in sometimes, but only after the place has been out for days. He’ll have the front desk person help him carry the stuff in, then he’ll leave and the employee will have to organize everything. No recognition of the employee at all. No thank you. Nothing. It’s just sad. I feel bad for any employee that has to work for a shady, money-hungry business owner.

I asked the young lady to change my TV channel to news. She changed it then some other employer 10 minutes later put it on something else. I asked her to put it back and she said she did not Know how and would get assistance. I finished working out. Staff does not seem to care about customer. If you are looking for friendly place who treats all customers equal, you may want to visit another establishment.

Used to go after I got off work. ( in the middle of the night) was usually very empty which was great for me being new to a gym. I trie the zumba class during the day which was fun but to over crowded. Being new to the gym and working out I wish there would have been like a class or some more available help when it came to equipment usage. The sauna was one of my favorite parts.

Bad experience at this gym. Had to switch! Was a member at this gym for over 6 years.The staff is unattentive and they dont know what they are doing. You may be charged extra or your account may be deactivated without your permission. Beware!

Went in yesterday after a friend of mine recommended this gym and was greeted by Jason. I requested a tour and was shown everything I wanted to see. Such a beautiful gym! Super clean (even in the bathrooms)! Jason was extremely informative, not too professional but not too childlike which I felt was relatable and sensible. The pricing was fair and I like how they have the day/week pass option for about $10-$15 so you can try it out before signing any contract. I was really interested in the boot camp class and I was given a brief and informative introduction of both of the instructors as well as both of the personal trainers. He showed me the Wall of Proof for examples of how the personal trainers are really legit. I also got shown the sauna room, which is kind of small, but my friend says it’s never usually packed with very many people anyway. I was also told about childcare and the lady who runs it. Both my friend and Jason agree she’s pretty good and has “fantastic patience” so that’s a win-win for me so far lol. I finished the tour with some information on Twin Wolves that I’m now thinking of enrolling my son into someday if he’d like when he’s much older. The only close to iffy thing is the tanning bed and some of the machines are out of order, which is sort of a bummer for the time being. Also, some of the t.vs don’t change channels (my friend told me). But I was informed they would get fixed here soon! Overall, amazing gym. As soon as I’m settled down in the new house I’m coming back here. Way better than the tours I’ve received from Planet Fitness and Crunch and this gym it’s closer to where I live. Even after the tour, Jason and I started talking about UFC (the highlights happen to of been on the tv) like we’ve known each other a while. The staff is chill, but professional and the cleanliness is outstanding. I’m so glad there is always at least one employee there 24/7. A beautiful family-oriented, non-judgmental establishment.

It’s a decent gym. I just stopped going because the owner is very rude and lets his feelings get the best of him.

$10.83 for a day pass and $16.20 for a week pass just to use a gym with about a good 85% of equipment is out of order. Go to Crunch.

Staff very helpful. I am able to get in & get out when I go at the right time. Even if machines that I need are in use, I just use treadmill. Nice atmosphere as well.

Good gym some of the equipment isa little messed up, like an elliptical, but that happens with time. Its 24 hours and has a lot of classes. The Wi-Fi is messed up and sometimes doesnt work. Thats why its 4 instead of 5 stars.

I just started going to Illuminate and am so happy. I always feel welcomed when I walk in and everyone is so friendly. I am happy to start my journey with them. -Bridget

In case youre wondering why they have such great reviews its because they revoke anyones membership who has a complaint. Illuminate has the worst costumer service and will not make any effort to listen to or resolve any issues with you and will just cancel your account without you knowing. If you leave any negative feedback you will be terminated. I had some serious issues with the childcare here and unless I deleted my comment my membership was revoked. The ownership is awful and I will be warning everyone I know against going to Illuminate.

Place Is nice and clean, staff Is kind and friendly. Manager Katie is always helpful.

I went in with my husband to cancel my membership after a staff member was rude to him for not having the little sign in card. She refused to cancel our membership for the second time and again was quite rude and didn’t care about customer service. The manager that my husband talked to also did not seem to care and did nothing to resolve this issue. We just want to cancel the memberships to their awful gym.

Reasonable price and close to me. Has a good number of equipment and love the classes.

Staff is so unprofessional!! They are rude and not customer service oriented .They support a staff that lies and creates drama . Your there to release stress not gain it . The two Hispanic girls with long black hair cant speak English well and are very bias toward white Caucasian people and very rude if you are a conservative and a Republican .They always promote libral stations on their TVs. The environment is very liberal . Stay away from this place!

Give them 3 stars because I didnt always have a problem with them. Not sure if its under new management or something but the new people have an attitude. When I called them on it they want cry to their boss and played the victim. Fire or keep them. I dont care. Im out. Im just trying to work out. Not deal with a two faced trouble starter.Gonna have to change that to one star. Came back when they told me to come back. Same girl was there. I asked why she offered to do this and then wouldnt and said because I was rude. Fair enough. I will go back for a 3rd time to cancel and they get one star.

People ok,.My trainers awesome.Service and cleanliness very bad.They get you every year with out notice. First the maintenance fee beginning of the year, then if you wanted to cancel even though you didnt agree for a 2nd year contract is outomatecly with out any warning. Monthly pmt will continue as well as charging you for the cancellation so $200 including the monthly charge. WowWhat a disappointment.

Childcare hours don’t align with classes, fired my favorite class instructor because someone didn’t like the volume of the music, which is the same volume for Zumba, and spin.
