The instructors here are awesome!!! My child who is four absolutely loves going to this place. She gets excited every time that we do go, and the atmosphere is great and the families who train here are awesome! I am grateful that me and my family have a positive environment who will encourage us to be able to reach our goals. Thank you so much!

Responded to an ad for free lesson on Facebook. When we went in, they asked for a credit card as part of the paperwork for the lesson. Also offered a 50% discount on the uniforms. Made us a do a family session which we weren’t particularly interested in, and then we found out that the prices for their membership was out of our price range. Later, I found out they had already charged me for uniforms, and when I contacted them and asked for a refund, they told me that I misunderstood and that I paid for uniforms to get a free week of lessons, which is not what I was told. I also did not sign anything authorizing them to charge my credit card for uniforms. After the initial message, they have subsequently ignored me, including a request to speak to their Sifu about why his “zen” based business is engaged in shady business practices and ripping off service members. Terribly unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs if you want your children to truly learn zen principles.

My kids and I attend the academy. Good bonding with my kids and the valuable life skill s and training they get has been priceless. Master Harvey is an awesome teacher

Absolutely love this place!! My daughter has been here for a couple months now and has really come a long way in building her confidence and assertiveness. Highly recommend bringing your kids here, though its not just for kids. Adults can gain alot from this as well.

My daughter is enrolled at this academy and is very excited each time she gets to come to class. She loves the instructor Mr Harvey. He is firm but also compassionate with the children. A very good experience!

Great place. Instructor really care for students. My son got in better shape and his confidence got much better. He even participated in a tournament and got first place. Is like a family like community.

Master Harvey is an excellent instructor and has knowledge and patience with students of all ages. Our experience here has been very positive .

The lady that signed us up was great! ESPECIALLY great with my shy 6 year old. We couldnt actually get the lessons, because Mr. Harvey was a little rude and pushy. We had our 1st lesson scheduled. Too late for us on a school night, but I went forward. Now he basically told me that if I had to talk about the cost of the lessons with my husband there was no reason to come in. My husband is always away for work. Who makes a decision without discussing it first with your significant other? He wanted my husband present. He works hard with odd hours. I refuse to commit to something I know nothing about. His attitude was Well Im saving YOU money. Exact words hundreds of dollars. With those words we backed out. There are plenty of available facilities in the surrounding areas. Ones that want your buisness and treat you and your family as valued customers. I cant comment on the actual lessons they provide, but his attitude is terrible. I felt he was bothered that he had to help us. I really wish the lady that signed us up was at the Harker Heights Facility she was very pleasant and great with my kids.

We have enjoyed the time weve been bringing my son to this school. We didnt think my son wpuld go past the first month trial but he has grown so much in the last few months since he began. His skills have developed thanks to his teachers and his confidence has been boosted since. It was a rocky start, my son would cry and throw a fit but they were very patient and understanding. Once you are ready to sign a contract to commit to their teaching you become aware of how much it will cost but they are very understanding and helpful, making sure it will be something you can work with and feel comfortable. Very happy with the school so far.

WARNING ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE... they require contracts for you and your family. And will sue you if you or your family do not want to attend anymore. And if you want to progress in rank, you have to pay MORE for each progression. Save your time and money, go somewhere where they dont have contracts. Do your research first.

I cant express how happy we are that we made the decision to do the trial classes. Our son has been apart of the Martial Zen family for a year now and we see the positive affects it has on our sons attitude. I would highly recommend Martial Zen!

The lessons and instruction help to reinforce what we cover at home.

My Grandson recently joined and this is a great school. They offered a trial time and even before the trial ended we knew that this school is about family and the development of the student mind and body. Master Harvey and Sifu Miller are excellent.

Duped my wife and I out of $1000 dollars for sparing gear. Never received any sparring gear.. Dont go here. They are obviously money hungry.
