I took the CNA course here with Nurse Gray and really enjoyed it! She was very knowledgeable about the role of being an CNA and what is needed to get our certifications. Nurse Gray really makes sure you understand the concepts and theories behind certain things and skills rather than just making you memorize them. She gives us examples from her work and how it relates to what we are doing and it really helps further our understanding. Would highly recommend taking the course with Nurse Gray if you want to be a CNA.

I took the Phlebotomy night class with Nurse DeCosta. Shes the best teacher. She made sure that we understood everything before moving on to the next chapter. She explains everything in a way that makes it easy to remember and understand. She made a night class i would probably hate very exciting and interesting. The class went by really fast didnt even feel like a month. Definitely recommended taking a class with her as the teacher.

I took my Phlebotomy Technician class on the weekends with Nurse DeCosta. Nurse DeCosta gave me all the tools that I needed in order to feel prepared for a career as a Phlebotomy Technician. She explained everything clearly and gave us extra tips and tricks that would make us stand out in comparison to other students. She made the material memorable and easy to understand and gave us extra resources in order to prepare us for the National Certification Exam. I would highly recommend taking the Phlebotomy Technician class with Nurse DeCosta!

This was the best decision I ever made!Awesome experience & Great Price!I took the Phlebotomy Tech course and I loved my teacher Ms. Mason. She is the best and I wish other professors had her style of teaching. I’m the type of person that learns best with demonstrations and actual practice. She did just that and gave us important information and insight on how the medical field is like. It was always a joy to come into class because of her enthusiasm and passion for the profession. She really cares for you as if you were family and wants all of her students to succeed. Definitely try to take her courses!!

I really enjoyed having Ms. Danielle as my instructor. We always got straight to the point while still sharing laughs and stories with one another. I learned more than drawing blood. I honestly wish the course was a little longer!! She really works with you and makes sure you have a great understanding of the material before moving onto another topic.

Recently Enrolled in the Phlebotomy Course with Ms.Mason ! ( Greatest Instructor Ever might I add) Was given lots of real world knowledge in the field along with the fundamentals needed to successfully stick and gets successful blood draws! The only thing that we lacked were supplies. Which is why I couldn’t give a complete 5 Stars. We were only given limited amount and with learning a new skill there was some misses but still not enough for an entire class. Lack of supplies aside, the school has been very clean and friendly staff.

Ms. Mason is absolutely amazing, she does a great job teaching the phlebotomy course and makes sure you jump right into it. The only complaint I have is that they didn’t have enough supplies for us to do a good amount of draws on each type of needle. Other than that, the class size was small, I never had many issues, and the facility itself is very clean. I would definitely recommend coming here as long as they fix the inventory issue.

This a great school with high quality instructors who have years of experience and an amazing propensity for teaching the material. I took phlebotomy in August on weekdays with Nurse DeCosta. She was a outstanding instructor who really cared about her students doing well. As long as you put in the effort to learn she was more than willing to help you. I enjoyed the class so much I went back for EKG tech in September during the weekends. Ms. Mason was a phenomenal instructor for EKG tech. Anything that you did not understand she always provided clear and detailed explanations which provided clarity and further insight into the material. As an instructor Ms. Mason always went the extra mile for her students. It was refreshing to such a dedicated instructor. I am very grateful to have had Ms. Mason and Nurse DeCosta as instructors.There are two things I wish the school provided. First, externships for other courses other than CNA. Second, a course that combined EKG and phlebotomy or possibly a Medical Assistant course that taught the aforementioned areas and medical billing & coding.

Tia school of allied health school is hands down amazing!! The instructors are very informative and they know the knowledge to pass the courses and get state board certified. I’ve taken the phlebotomy and the CNA program an I’ve enjoyed both courses. This school will have you ready to work in the profession of your choice.

Staff was patient, class was small so there was a lot of one to one assistant. My classmates was great, we helped each other out and professor Mason is the best. She can relate so she knows how to help you learn. I had a blast....

Instructor was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and made it easy for us to understand the lessons. Janessa made herself available to us all for anything we needed, she is very pleasant and makes a nice environment to walk into. Parking can be a nightmare with the timed gate, and limited spaces on the street, but that would be the only negative I’d say about my time here.

School would have been better if it wasn’t for the lady in the front desk. Rules and changes are made based on her personal feelings towards you. It’s cheap but not worth the hassle

Honestly, not worth the money. Yes it’s cheap but the customer service is horrible. I went there for an inquiry on their CNA training and I forget the reps name but she was very unprofessional. I remember telling her I visited Cambridge to see if I’d like to attend there and she gave me such a look and proceeded to say “How could you even think to go there, that is such an unorganized school. They’re full of hopes and dreams. Many of the schools in Hempstead are overpriced and don’t genuinely care for their students.” I just don’t think speaking down on another school should be a way to get students into their school. Pretty childish if you ask me. All I can say is spend your money WISELY. I ended up at Hunter and the customer service is great.

TIA is an amazing school for a prgression into many health care professions. The class is small sized and great because the class is more direct. I had an amazing time in the Phlebotomy class.

I had the pleasure of taking the Phlebotomy Technician course (3 weeks in February 2020) with Danielle Maness-Williams and let’s just say...she was phenomenal! With over 30 years of experience under her belt, she knew EXACTLY what she was talking about and even shared some of her experience in the field and what we may encounter ourselves. She is super honest, personal and cares for ALL of her students and gives great advices on life and in the medical field. Please...never hesitate to ask for help because she is ALWAYS there especially through clinicals. I was very nervous at first since I’ve never took a medical course before but after the 1st week of being in class and then going through clinicals I became very comfortable and even a little confident. You will make mistakes but dont let that ever discourage you ! Please, if anyone is thinking of taking phlebotomy here at TIA in Hempstead Long Island take it with Danielle-Maness Williams. You wont regret it :)

The money even though is low but its not worth the hassle in the end. The administration was very bad. After getting a one star review from my wife, the owner contact my wife wish is against google policy promising her that they will fix her problem and all. I dont think you have the right to put part of her review online and use her need to educate herself to get five star review instead of TIA doing the right thing.

The phlebotomy course was great and I learned a lot not only for personal knowledge but knowledge thatll prepare me for job opportunities.
