Always get friendly and knowledgeable service from their staff. They work very hard to compete with Amazon and more often can match or come close. Much rather give my money to local biz. Their teachers are also top notch

Ive been playing violin for nearly 30 years and have been to many music stores over that span. This place is hands down my favorite. Family owned feel, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and pricing that competes with the big chains and online stores. Definitely recommend. Jam.

New drum set, Ian was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Selection of cymbals was awesome! Selection of kit was small but excellent. Phenomenal vibe, super knowledgeable!

So far.....GREAT! Just had my first experience - calling around to find a book for my sons jazz ensemble. Called two stores closer to home with no luck. Tried Reston Music before opting to order from Amazon and Voila! Not in stock but theyre putting in a book order tomorrow and since its a book they ordinarily stock I didnt have to pre-pay, although I would have gladly done so. Hopefully I can pick up the book on the way to or from soccer practice on Thursday or Friday because its on my way!Excellent customer service - family owned/run business - Theyve definitely got a returning customer in me and Ill be happy to spread the word!!

I bought a set of guitar strings from here yesterday. I screwed up restringing the E string and it snapped in half. Came back today and they were chill about it, replaced the string and showed me how to do it right. Cool people

Not a single complaint. My old acoustic guitar had some issues with the wiring inside. The guys at Reston Music went above and beyond to not only find the right wiring from Ovation, but also cleaned the guitar for me and added some new strings for free. As long as Im in Reston, Ill be going here.

I went in there to rent a saxophone for my middle school son. The guys were great in explaining in detail what I would be signing up to, instead of your sign on the dotted line like always. They went over with my son on his new instrument the dos and donts. They were quick on processing everything, but I never felt rushed by them. Awesome team!
