This gym has given me the best fountain to be confident to train all over the world. I didnt know how good this school is/ was until Ive traveled and trained with the top known academies. There no need to look any further. Train here!!! Professor Carlos Rollyson is the real deal.

Dont bring your kids to this place.They are seriously understaffed, but have no problems taking in new kids... My daughter (7 yrs old), was on her fourth day in class and was choked and knocked out by another boy and NO ONE NOTICED!!!I may add that the boy was smaller than her but has been doing 4 years of jiu-jitsu,.... I have to say only a psycho would put kids to wrestle and then leave them without supervision.... what a terrible disappointment my girl was really happy to learn self defense..The teacher Carlos tells you in the first class he doesnt like cry babies and makes you sign a release form so they are not liable for anything... They are also very quick to take your credit card...They may be very good grooming assasins, if that is what you want, then this is the place for you!!!I was only looking for some professional self defense class for my girl... I guess I will have to keep looking.

Worked closely on a project with this team and can say that the ethic and dedication is strong! Would recommend to any family or friends as they truly work with heart. 10/10

My daughter has been a student at this BJJ school since 2012, she started when she was 5 years old. I could not be any more pleased with her training and the type of training she receives. There is no other school that has a 7th degree coral belt (red/black) teaching little kids and beginners, this to me shows that he wants to pass on his passion and knowledge to future generations, you cant get this anywhere else. There is no other like Professor/ Master Carlos Rollyson.I also cant talk enough about his wife, Megan, a black belt - my daughter LOVES her! she has a very special and unique way with all the kids. I wouldnt go to any other school!

My wife & I checked around all over BROWARD county & Mestre Carlos & Mestre Megan were the only ones who truly made us feel extremely welcome. They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable & patient. My kids are a handful & by the end of the 1st class they were paying attention, bowing, listening, and they had a great time. They were even asking when is the next class. Very professional, VERY DETAILED on every technique. Definitely recommend Everyone to come here. Great place for Both kids and adults to learn jiujitsu.

Hands down the best gym to train BJJ in South Florida. Facility is nice, bright, and clean. Carlos and all the instructors are phenomenal teachers and take time to work with each individual student. The people are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to be polite and prevent injuries. No meathead mentality and no intimidation. Very laid-back atmosphere, no silly traditions or enforced hierarchy.Ive observed the kids classes as well and they are well-run and the kids have fun and learn in a safe environment. My little guy will be joining once hes old enough!

This place is the best! My entire family goes here. I have gone to other martial arts businesses and none can compare to how great this one is. The family owners are very professional. The place is very clean. I always see them cleaning the bathrooms and the mats daily. While this may be a good location for adults they are unprepared to deal with children, especially children who may require additional attention or support. They recently refused to allow a 5 year old with additional needs (that they were told about in advance and said they would work with) to return because he asked to complete his 200 punishment jumping jacks in 4 sets of 50 rather than 200 at once. He stated that he couldnt do 200 at once and was told he had to or he couldnt return.While I understand and agree that there needs to be expectations and consequences for not meeting those expectations, those consequences need to be age appropriate and aligned to the childs developmental abilities.What should have been an encouraging and supportive community environment instead became one where a 5 year old boy with additional needs was torn down, kicked out and made to feel that he was bad because he didnt think he could do 200 jumping jacks at once.

Master Rollyson is an attentive instructor who shares his wide breadth of knowledge with each student. Moves are taught in logical sequences with emphasis on the details that make all the difference in successful execution. He is attentive to each and every student during drilling and rolling and works to have a good understanding of what each student needs to progress in their jiu jitsu journey.

My family and I have been training with professor Carlos Rollyson for the past two years now. We absolutely love it! Professor and Megan are a class act! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but from my personal experience through my son and husband this place is wonderful. The instructors work well with my son and he has learned a lot. Every time I have been to this facility it appears to be clean and smells good despite all the sweaty students. My husband gets bored easily and he has not given up. He has well surpassed my expectations and that is only possible with a dedicated student and professor working together. They have classes early in the morning and in the evening to accommodate everyone’s schedule. My husband and son have tried other places but this is the only one they have stuck with. My family loves this facility.

I started going here four weeks ago, and as a women with zero jiu jitsu knowledge or ANY martial arts training this experience has been AMAZING! I attend the womens classes, and coach Gina and Carlos are very attentative and informative. Being able to take womens classes made it a very nice, less intimidating approach to jiu jitsu. In four weeks Ive learned a lot and plan to continue training here as long as I can.

I started training Martial Arts when I was a kid, I am 43 years old and never stop training, Ive been around, my first Jiu Jitsu class was in 1999, I train steadily since 2008 and found this Academy at the end of 2016. It is by far the best place I ever train in my life, the mats are cleaned daily, the bathrooms are very clean, the students very respectful, the instructors are very knowledgeable and patient, and the best part is that we get to train with a legend of the sport, Master Rollyson is by far the best at his job because is very passionate and loves teaching Jiu Jitsu. Constantly improving he goes every year to the Alliance Headquarters and comes back with the latest our sport has to offer, take advantage and do not pass the opportunity to train with this legend, Alliance won 11 World Titles and that does not come by chance, their method of teaching is the best. By the way, my granddaughter also trains at this gym and she loves it, they treat her super good, I only have words of gratitude for how they are.

This is a great place, we have been assisting with our children for more than 3 months, all the practice is done with supervision, they are nice and honest people, at no time do they force the children to do any activity, all training is supervised.
