My daughter has been learning Chinese dance with Ying Li, the founder and director of Phoenix, since the beginning of 2016. During these years, I witnessed her transformation from a shy little girl into a confident and beautiful dancer. What she gained is not only the dance skills, but also her passion on stage, her love of dance, her perseverance, and some great friendship, all of which will be her life-long assets.Thanks to Ying and her team, the classroom of Phoenix always maintains a caring, enjoyable, and disciplined atmosphere. From toddlers to adult dancers of all age, anyone who loves Chinese dance can join the fun. The dance recitals are of amazing quality. The dancers perform at State Fair, local cultural festivals, Mall of Americas Chinese New Year celebration, and many more different events and stages and always receive amazing feedback. This is truly an A+ Chinese dance school!

Ive taken online adult group classes from Ms. Li for three semesters, and Ill continue to do so with her online at Phoenix Chinese Dance Academy. I love the beauty of her choreography, her approach in teaching amatuer adult students, and her dedication to her students and the extended community. She is a great dancer and an experienced teacher. She holds high standards from her students, and always encourages them to be the best of themselves.

My granddaughter had been trained in Chinese dance for a number of years by Ying Li who not only possesses a high level of artistic and technical skill but an intuitive understanding of children. Phoenix Dance Academy motivates and equips children to develop their talents and reach their full potential both artistically and personally.

Beautiful performances and the dancers are so engaged with the story they are telling and able to bring the audience into it with them! Very talented dancers and the instructor must be amazing to be able to bring out that level of engagement.

Phoenix Chinese Dance Academy is an amazing dance school. Ying, the teacher cares about all of her students progress and is a wonderful, caring, and dedicated teacher. I cant recommend this enough. Ying is one of the best in her field.
