Love the school and staff. I have been a parent for going on 4 years now and my child has excelled mentally and spiritually. The corporate work study program is the best. I would recommend anyone interested in a college prep school (that is challenging but not too rigid) check out the school to see if it is a good fit for your son or daughter.

This school is the best the opportunities they offer here are great and the teacher a very nice and they do care about the students and the work program they have is just wonderful teens learn how to work in the real world and they get that feeling of how life is going to bee. I will recommend this school to all the other parents.

Cristo Rey with every school year grows in to a wonderful school that helps the students build a stronger educational foundation. They provide the students a professional work study program. They are thought that giving back is very important in life.

Unique great school. The corporate work study program, theological formation and college prep makes this highschool unique in Houston.

Its a very good schools, the programs they have are great and the corporate work study program is very good too, I like that the student only work one day of the week and gain work skils that they could later use in their future jobs.

Cristo Rey Jesuit is a College Preparatory High School. It’s not like public school. It is preparing students to succeed in college. The school is very challenging academically. The students are given a lot of homework. The homework isn’t easy. It forces them to think. It’s not uncommon for my son to be doing homework until midnight. He struggled a little at first, but now that he is used to the system, he is making all A’s. If your child is lazy, or does not consider education more important than sports or cheerleading, he/she probably isn’t going to like Crito Rey. If your child wants to go to college, and doesn’t mind being challenged to be the best they can be, he/she will love it.
