This was a good school to me I was there I would I was in pre-K3 I am now currently in fifth grade. 😀 Great school

I am not sure who wrote the review posted claiming that Holy Ghost is awful since that person was not willing to identify themselves. If you feel that strongly on the matter then you need to truly own your opinion and own it. I will own this opinion, I am Susan Theall Krus, class of 1977 from Holy Ghost. I have a son in 8th grade there now. He came there in 6th grade from another Catholic school. We were welcomed with open arms from Sr. Judy and her staff. Every school has issues, including Holy Ghost, you will never escape that. But if you truly felt in your heart that Holy Ghost was that bad, then why stay there as long? You have to be the change you want to see in the world. I feel confident that you have not stepped up to make your situation better because if you had, I am pretty sure I would have met you and known of your effort. You could have been one of the many that spend summer hours there making a difference with other students and parents. As far as the graduates there being illiterate, I personally know many recent Holy Ghost alums that are thriving in Catholic High Schools such as Strake Jesuit, IWA, Cristo Rey, St. Agnes and St. Thomas. I know of alum that have graduated in the top ten of their high school and have gone on to earn degrees at Texas A & M, nursing at Texas Womens, North Texas State University and are all very successful in their fields, I am extremely glad that Holy Ghost is there for my son and for me as a parent. Do I see eye to eye on everything? No, but I am willing to dive in and help.The teachers that my son has have been nurturing to his needs and while he struggles in some areas, they are aware of what methods work best for him as an individual student and that is a rare find. Every teacher, principal, staff member, parent, student, clergy has their faults. But I consider my family lucky that Holy Ghost school understands more than others the mission of a Catholic education. My family is blessed by Sr. Judy, Fr. Steve Benden and many others there that have a positive impact on my son.

Went once and realized I probably should have saved myself the trip.
