I participated in Teaching ESL class for parents this spring. The program started in March and ended May 28 with huge graduation ceremony for the parents.It is important to objectively post what I witnessed. I witnessed a School and administration that sincerely care and invested hugely in educating parents regardless of race and culture.I have previously provided ESL classes to parents in more than 15 Elementary Schools in both Houston and Alief School districts and none has invested money and resources to more than 120 parents and their 150 children.They were provided hot meals; their children were provided meals, home work and supervised while parents were in class. Excellent dedicated teachers and cool parent engagement coordinated who never missed a day of class. The teachers never missed any day too.Parents were allowed to use the computers and develop e-mail addresses and most importantly learn how to use the computer with the additional computer literacy instructor. Full time security was provided for parent’s safety and they were rewarded heavily for perfect attendance.I usually don’t post feedback comments but when I read some of the feedback for Energized for Excellence, I know the negatives were absolutely not objective. No School is perfect but when you spend money on educating parents and God’s people, the rewards will come. I encourage other Schools to do the same. The children were more excited during the award ceremony than the parents.Thank you Mrs Bullock for the time, money and resources you invested on educating your parents this spring. I know they participated in other programs like Nutrition and Sowing but I can objectively report and post about the ESL. You could have used the funds to upgrade furniture or salaries but you chose to use it in educating your parents and their children. Again thanks to you for a very wise investment. I hope other Schools especially elementary Schools will take notice.Just like the seniors sang during graduation at the Stanford Center the week before; The students started attending from Pre-K to high School, majority of her staff have been at the School for more than 20 years. Those low-life’s that cannot manage a Lemonade Stand will post negative comments because they did not get their way and do not understand the red-tape required to run a business. School is much harder than any other business.

Is the Best speccially if your in top class in fourth grade with ms. Bell yesterday party at school ms.bulluck gave us free tickets to waste on the party i would give this school 50times more than five stars Best instute ever.And this is me and that is the Best school rate this school 50times better than other schools Best instute ever.

They give us the opportunity to learn English, they included free ESL classes for adults, actually Im attending to this class, i think is something great because I will be able to talk with my sons teachers and help him at home, I only can say thanks to Ms. Bullock for this opportunity.

As a kid it was either go here or end up in Jane Long in the early 2000s. E.E.A kept me from gangs and drugs and helped me chose a high school of my choice instead of being sent to Robert Lee.I now live in Austin and i always think about Ms. Bullock and all of my teachers who helped me become the man i am today.

Definitely a good school, wouldnt highly recommend it, though. The teachers here are either amazing or really annoying... It was overall a great experience from pre k3 through 8th grade, but most teachers are not really concerned with the education of their students. Recommend for elementary school.

Just bad

I have attended this school since i was in pre-k3 all the way to middle school now i am graduating and going to high school next year. I just want to say, yes this school could have some things fixed up here and there but the teachers here are amazing. There will be times they can get on your last nerves but its all for you weather you believe it or not... I really do apprecate them and just wanted to say thank you.

My daughter attended this school and it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Please DON NOT send your babies here. I have plenty of stories.

This is a very different school.... It is a very small cheap school with no gym, library, bearly a field or other resources an actual school needs. Some of the teachers there are very nice but others are very annoying and they dont even teach good. Same with the principal and the security guards. Students here are very rude and messy with eachother. Teachers get fired like every once a month. Very bad expired school food. Im a senior at Alief isd they are very more big, beautiful advanced schools. It was a very different experience for me compared to Energized For Excellence.

This school was alright I went here most of my life from pre k to 2nd grade and came back for one more year in 4th grade because I had no choice I kinda liked this school but at the same time I hated it because they give too much homework and we dont get out till 4 and your parents have to sign you out so you can leave now I am a freshman at Spring Woods High School in Spring branch.Spring Branch is a way better district than Hisd I like Spring Branch better because they dont serve nasty ass food like fish with cheese

I attended to Energized for 4 the only good thing upk in there is 5 de Mayo🤤🇲🇽, I RECOMMEND TO PUT YALL KIDS AT JANE LONG ACADEMY🖤🙃. Jane Long Academy is way better than Energized🙄Jane Long might have a bad Reputation but is way better. I learn a lot from Jane Long it might not be Education but i had a good Experience. Carlos(Chunky), William, Miguel, Allan, Gio🏴, Jose, made my year the best.

At first I thought that this school sucked but it has changed my life in many ways and gave me new experiences it may not be the best looking school but its education system and extent is pretty good.All I have to say from a student who attends the school and is going to his senior year.

A couple times Ive had problems with your security. I dont know if youll hire ex convicts or what but their attitude is always horrible. Today I had a issue with a childish bus driver behind me honking as if he wants me to rundown all the pedestrians (which Ive already reported) and your security directing traffic between the 2 schools, thumbs up the childish bus driver. I dont get how he could encourage such bad behavior

My son is in actual student here but I feel that theres a lot of things that they need to work on for example-I feel like parents shouldnt be standing in their kids classroom while class allready started school should be more strict with that .- Parents need to drop off their kids and leave because they are generating all that traffic which makes it impossible to find a parking space .-Students started school a week early and nothing was situated.The first day of school for my son and no ac in the classroom wasnt very happy going to work with my son staying in a classroom with no ac.- teacher first day off school didrint even introduce herself had to get her name from the door.and other little things the reason I dont move him to onother school is because its close to my job and my home .-

School used to be badass but it messed now i recommend not to go here.and if you are apply for energized for excellence not estem.

Very little education happens at EEA. This is NOT a school, its day care paid for by HISD. The teachers are extremely poor performers and covered by malfunctioning administration function.

Its horrible teachers are rude and racist there is a tremendous amount of bullying lunch is forever the halls are too small and stinky the pe teacher barely speaks English the main language is Spanish if you talk going to lunch they starve you go to o donnel

Already 6 years in this school there are several things that I do not like but there are teachers who are excellent. But with this pandemic they are super disorganized, students on top of others and parents in the same way make a single relaxation when it comes to taking our children out is a disappointment. They should do something ... there is a different school in front of them and when it comes to taking the children out it is super organized, I have seen it ... Im sorry for saying it but it is for you to do something please !!!

My granddaughter has been there for 5 years, and I see that if she performs, they are not only the teachers work, it is also the parents work, and they have always had good teachers who have helped her, her parents do not regret that she this there, and if the children need to put a little heavy hand on it, as in our times. If you want to put your kid in this school, please dont, many people in the school vandalize the restrooms, and no one does nothing about it. Maybe the school changed during the years that I wasnt there, but for now, Ill give it a 0 rating if possible. In reality, in school, a disorder is very rare teachers with professional ethics my son in his second grade had to be with a brunette his name I reserve it was a terrible racist good that was about to send it to the psychologist and it was when I told him that he did not allow that, the school does not improve at all the family nights in the small cafeteria are awful the microphone nor is it heard they do not make them a nice stairs if the children do not stop on the floor! For that and many reasons I changed my son and now I feel happy for the school he attends! That brunette lady who was her teacher traumatized her to the point that she didnt even want to go to school, and although we complained to Cintron, the lady was still there because teacher I cant call her that name is too big! It was a terrible racist rude !! so that school for me is missing a lot !!!!!!
