I just graduated the 5-day CCNA bootcamp with Rob Graves. He is an excellent instructor that makes the information easy to understand. I highly recommend ETEC to anybody looking to start or further their IT career.

Wow. Best bang for the buck out there. I still think it is good to take the community college classes on CCNA 1 through 4 before you come here so it is easy to keep up, but I cannot believe the value I just got here. I was already maxing the CCNA and CCNA Security practice test before coming here because the hurricanes gave me a chance to study, but I just blew these test out of the water because of this refresher. And that is not the cool part.The day after my test I brought in a brand new ASA 5506X, and they had someone show up that was far superior in ASA and Firepower than anyone I met in Portland or Arizona for the official Cisco Firejumper training show up. I was blown away by the skill level. The CCNA trainers are great, but these folks have the real guns. This guy started training and my head started getting this buzzed feeling you get in those awesome college classes when the teacher is really going into an epiphany. I was truly in mental overload trying to keep up with this guy easily 10 years my senior. That is what I want in a class. I got my moneys worth in one day today.So if you are after more than just the cert, dont just stop going when you pass the test, hang out a couple weeks and show an actual interest. They got some OGs in there, and they will share serious knowledge with you if you keep coming after the test.

The experience that I was provided was second to none, the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by Debbie I know I was in the right place. The instructors Chris Jones and Tom Nguyen are incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and instructive, with industry experienced feedback. Although the classes are fast passed, as expected in a boat camp, the instructor always had time to answer any question or clarify and concerns. Wanted to give thanks to everyone. Our Instructor Adam was great and answered questions that I had. He knew the material and not matter if I tried to throw a curve ball, he had a response for it. Adam introduced me to Tom which knows everything about Cisco. If youre interested or already have experience in networking, and want to get your CCNA, then get with them. They will slow it down for you, for you to understand everything. They will prepare you for the exam! I want to thank the staff for everything and if I decide to try to take my CCNP, then yall will see me again. Thanks for making me understand more about cisco

Awesome class for CompTIA Security+, however the 5 day CISSP class that was provided was extremely lacking and the study material outside of the book was very dated. The provided CISSP book by Mike Meyers just simply did not contain anywhere near the amount of information you need to know prior to taking the test. I cannot recommend them for CISSP based on my experience, however it honestly seemed like they just werent prepared for it. The other experiences I have had with them have been great.

I recently took the CCNA Bootcamp at ETEC, with Chris Jones as our instructor.If youre looking for an energetic teacher that knows what theyre talking about, take a class with Chris. He makes dry subjects interesting, keeps the class engaged, and really works hard to keep things moving fast. I had a lot of fun in my weeklong class, and would recommend ETEC to anyone.I also had the chance to have Tom Nguyen moonlight on some subjects, and hes also really, really good. What I really like about ETEC is that theyre able to give you a big-picture idea of the subject, but theyre perfectly capable of drilling down to the minutia if you want it. That shows mastery of the subject, and Im really glad we chose ETEC for training.Ill definitely use them again when Im ready to further my education.
